Here I am to spill my heart. I'll be honest before this program my fitness and nutrition was always off an on. I'd lose weight, gain it back, and my motivation differed every day. I saw this program come up online and said to myself "hmm, let me check this out. What is this about?". A few days later, I went into Cape Fear Boxing, spoke with Coach Rasheed and he told me all about what they had to offer. I decided to take a leap of faith, and do the 6 week Ladies Boxing Bootcamp Challenge. I was nervous on my first day walking in, I'm not in the best of shape. However, once the class started all the anxiety melted away and the community of everyone is so welcoming and encouraging. I've found my second home. I've lost 9.6 pounds of body fat just in the first 21 days, and I don't plan on stopping anytime soon! I've never felt more encouraged and better than I have since coming here. So if I were you, reading this review, trust me for a moment and take a leap of faith and come check this place out! You won't regret it.

In June of 2021 I started working out at a local gym. I worked out on my own for a year and had a trainer for the last 6 months. Although I felt like I was working out hard, I didn’t feel like I was making progress towards my final goal. I was in dire need of a more challenging routine.One day while I was flipping through Facebook on my lunch I saw an advertisement for a 6 week boxing bootcamp. I really wanted to try something new and challenging. So, I went in and decided to sign up. This program helped me tremendously. I feel stronger, healthier and more fit then I ever have been. I lost 6.2lbs of body fat in 6 weeks!I would definitely recommend this program to anyone that is interested in a healthier lifestyle and looking to get into shape. It is a lot of hard work, but worth it in the end. Believe in the process and stay consistent and you will see a huge change in yourself, both mentally and physically. The trainers and the ladies in the group are amazing and motivating! One of my favorite quotes is: “Greatness comes from within” believe in yourself and you can achieve anything!

Before joining cape fear boxing I was procrastinating over and over about eating healthier and exercising to get in shape. Everything I tried I wasn't consistent with so it wasn't working. This program has completely changed that. In just 6 weeks I lost 5.1% of body fat from being consistent with going to my workouts and following the meal plan that I was given. I have had so much energy and feel so much better about myself already within that amout of time. I would recommend cape fear boxing to anyone who wants to get on track to feeling good from working out and eating healthier this is the place to be. All the coaches are so amazing and motivating and are there to help you each step of the way so you can reach your goals!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Cape Fear Boxing! After a year and a half of working out on my own, I was stuck and frustrated. I could not figure out why I could not get the final pounds off. After the first three weeks (and not a single rest day), Coach Rasheed challenged me to rest one to two days each week. (I admit that I did NOT think working out five rather than seven days a week would help me lose body fat more quickly, but I tried it anyway.) During Week #4 I lost as much as I had in Weeks 1-3 put together! I could not believe it! I continued the rest days through Weeks 5 and 6. By the end of the challenge I lost 7.5lbs of body fat! And, more importantly, I learned how to focus my time at the gym while also letting my body have time to recover. That change in mindset was the turning point for me!I have belonged to a lot of gyms. The difference with Cape Fear Boxing is that they sit down with you at the beginning to measure your body fat, lean mass, and water weight. They show you what the healthy weight range is, ask you what your goals are, and set a plan to help you achieve those goals. It is not just working out. They also coach you about nutrition, particularly in eating enough protein and drinking enough water. And they keep up with your progress, re-measure your body fat over time, and are knowledgeable enough to recommend changes to your routine. I was really impressed with the level of coaching they provide. All the staff are fantastic! I really enjoy the workouts at Cape Fear Boxing!

Hi! I’m Alisha and while I came to Cape Fear Boxing for the quick 6 week program, I’m not going anywhere. Before finding this gym and these coaches, I would occasionally go for a walk or slow pedal on the spin bike… barely even worth mentioning since it was so far and few between. I knew I had been “too far gone” with my eating and lack of exercise, but It wasn’t until I realized the heat was here to stay and I couldn’t hide in my leggings and cardigans anymore that I started to search for something to help me change my ways. Something that would push me but still work with my schedule and truly be judgment free because I was out.of.shape. This program changed me on all the levels; Mentally, I have “me” time again to clear my head - Emotionally, I’m happier and feeling like myself again since having a few kiddos - Physically, I feel so much stronger and confident in wearing clothes I haven’t had on in a long, long time! In this 6 week program I really took the coaching to heart and pushed through my morning alarms to make the work outs happen and I lost a total of 10.6 lbs of body fat. In saying all of this- if you’re looking to get control over your body/health again with awesome people, THIS is the place. The coaches are all amazing, helpful, and so welcoming. They meet you where you are at and truly provide the support and tools to get you where you want to be! I couldn’t be more thankful for this place and can’t wait to keep my health journey going with them!

I have been a member of CFB for over a year and have attended over 400 classes. It has become a part of my daily routine and I have gained so much more than a healthier lifestyle. This place really is my daily dose of positivity. From the coaches to my classmates, I always leave feeling accomplished and happy...looking ahead to the best day ever!!! Prior to coming to Cape Fear Boxing my exercise routine was pretty much non-existent aside from walking my dog. I was starting to become more and more overweight and wanted to make a change. However, I am not a “gym person” I cannot stand them honestly. I knew I would not go to a traditional gym. I needed something that felt like a sport to me, and keep me interested. I saw Cape Fear Boxing’s ad online and it sparked my interest. I met with Coach, and wanted to give a shot. I am so glad I did. I am 21 days into my 6 week challenge, and I have already lost 6.4 lbs. of fat! I am so happy there. All of the staff, instructors, and Coach are so nice and so welcoming. I immediately felt like part of the group. The other participants are at all different skill levels and body types, so I didn’t feel like the oddball. Coming to Cape Fear Boxing has truly been life changing for me. I now go to class 3-4 times per week, and with their support I have also been able to change a lot of my bad eating/drinking habits. It has been amazing for me, and I would highly recommend them to anyone interested in making changes to their life.

Best gym. Best people. Best results.I am writing this review 1 month after completing the 6 week women’s boxing boot camp offered by CFB.Before I started this challenge I had tried different gyms, fitness routines, and diet plans, all with the goal of feeling healthy and strong.I always felt average, but I wanted to be the best version of myself, which became overwhelming when trying to juggle work, family, social life, and planning workouts/meals everyday.I didn’t know what I was in for but I made the commitment. 6 weeks. To complete a challenge that meant making time for myself. Committing to the goal of changing my everyday routine to better myself. What I found was a community of women wanting the same. That was the motivation I never knew I needed to lose almost 11 pounds of pure body fat in those short 6 weeks! I am healthier and stronger than I have ever been and the lifestyle changes that I have made come naturally now.The coaches taught me what to eat, at what times, being flexible to my vegetarian dietary restrictions. The training was strategically planned and took the work out of planning exercises everyday. The community kept me empowered to keep going even through hard times. Everyday I went, I left the gym in a euphoric state.Cape Fear Boxing is where it’s at. The coaches and community are phenomenal and I wouldn't be where I'm at today without them.If you’re thinking about checking them out, this is your sign!

Cape Fear Boxing is amazing!! Since my 20's I have always been physically active. For the last few years I was doing online workout programs at home and hit a plateau. I was not sure if it was the workouts or if it was because I am now in my 40's, and I was not being held accountable for meal planning/prepping. I was scrolling Facebook one day and saw the ad for Cape Fear Boxing and said let's send a message and see what happens. After my consultation I left feeling super excited and ready to start this journey. I was promised accountability and to be challenged. Oh boy was I held accountable and challenged. I was not only held accountable for working out, but for my meal planning as well. The workouts were not only fun, but challenging. In just 6 short weeks I lost 4.9 pounds of body fat and gained a pound of muscle. Results that I have not seen with any other program that I have tried, and trust me that's a lot. The non-scale victories have become more important to me since starting. When I signed up I was just going to do 4 or 5 workouts per week. The workouts are so fun and the coaches and other members are so motivating that I would go 6-7 times per week. My mental health has been so much better because not only am I getting my endorphin fix, but I am making friends as well. The coaches and other members are amazing. They were all very friendly and motivating. It is just an uplifting atmosphere that I love being a part of. I would definitely recommend Cape Fear Boxing to anyone that wants to be motivated, held accountable, be challenged in each workout, and make some wonderful friends.
