Gold's Gym

Ever since I joined this gym, my experience has been nothing but negative. I signed up before it opened given that I received a flyer on the the mail that read “$9.99 this month only”. I decided to check it out since I lived very close and I went in to their portable center where I was given a virtual tour of the new facility. I was deceived into signing up and switching from my previous gym by claiming that I would have all the exact amenities and more for the price of $9.99. The sales representative claimed that it was only for that month and that they would be opening in just a couple of months (I believe June was their initial opening date). Soon enough the opening date was pushed back month after month, until October, a few months later and when it finally opened I was surprised to find out that everything I had been promised was a lie and it came with a price tag. The manager failed to take accountability for the actions of their sales team. It is actually a known issue company wide, and there is a clause in their contract stipulating that the gym doesn’t take responsibility for their sales representatives misleading actions to enroll members.Needless to say, up to this day they are still running the same promotion.Their $9.99 p/mo has attracted more people that they can accommodate, and no matters the time of day it is full, restrooms dirty, equipment not working or misplaced.This facility is probably worse than planet fitness. I have decided to cancel my membership and go some where else.

Brand new facility and friendly staff. My son (13yrs old) and I recently had our " welcome to". It was suppose to be separate but computer wise something happened and we had ours together. I cannot complain about the personal trainer we had. He really focused on my son and was patient, very informative, and really INSPIRED my son.Our personal trainer was amazing!!! I will update when I remember his name.Since two people were doing the intro together I feel were shortened in time and individual focus. I only wished we had more time.

I was from out of town for 3 days so I decided to go to this gym but MY GOD the receptionist (woman with black hair and glasses) was really rude. When I would go in and say goodmorning she would ignore it. She wouldn't even smile at all. It really made me feel unwelcome and like I didnt belong there. It's a shame because it's a nice location and incredibly a nice and clean gym.

Very nice and new gym. Staff is friendly and there always tends to be a sale for gym membership. They have different plans that include a variety of things such as towels, pool access, and water massage therapy. The only bad thing is that it isn't 24 hours. If you need to go to the gym in the middle of the night, 24 Fitness is your best bet

There is a Large range of equipment and free space. The pool is nice, the steem room feels wonderful. The staff is very helpful with any questions. There is no Sauna at this location in particular, however there are massage beds and they feel good. they have good music to work out to, i dont feel like i need to play my own. Its a very welcoming environment for anyone looking to better their physical health. 10/10 prefer this gym.

This Gold's Gym is shady AF.They charged me a late fee because there was an "issue with the payment method on file." But they only contacted me AFTER charging the fee. No courtesy call, email, or text...I've been using the same credit card since they opened in late 2017 and have never had an issue.Good job on the shady business practices. I hope you enjoy the extra $20, and losing years of my business. Cancelled immediately

The Gym itself is top of the line with new and innovative machines. The staff is well rounded and informed. I appreciate the cleanliness of this facility. The pool, jacuzzi, steamroom and hydrotherapy are an added bonus.The instructors and trainers make the membership worth it's weight in Gold.Hence Golds Gym!

I just recently got a membership at this gym, when I sat with a salesperson I asked if they had any promotions he said he doesn't think so. Then two days later I search the gym online for location and I see this promo that says you can join for 9.95 a month. I'm gonna go to the gym because i have a subscription, but the moment it is done I'm getting out of here. I really don't appreciate being done like that. Other than that the staff is friendly and the gym is really nice.

For a gym thats been less than a year old, a little disappointed by the cleanliness of the work out equipment. I understand its a gym, but a quick wipe by staff would not hurt nor take too long. Whoever vacuums is doing a mediocre job. I picked my phone off the ground and dust bunnies/hair came up with it. Not sure who supervises the cleaning crew, but you seriously need to have a talk with how slow they work. I would hate to see this gym go terrible.I worked out next someone getting trained by a trainer and they had a client swing their weight. Showing somone proper form is incredibly important for someone learning, especially if they are paying you! It also projects the quality of their program.This has nothing to do with the gym's overall rate, but members please take a body shower before you come. Just a quick 30 sec will suffice. Just common courtesy for the people around you and others using your machine after.Overall, they need to pick up with maintaining cleanliness and honoring the "Golds Gym" standard. The equipment is great and this gym has lots of potential. Definitely would recommend you to come try this gym out.
