There are a couple of 12 year old kids whose parents have the ear of the general manager and the rest of us are required to let them play in pickup games regardless of the number of people waiting. So, you get to basically play 4 on 5 and then wait 30 minutes to do it again. Their parents however get to enjoy their two hour workout, while us on the basketball court get to be glorified babysitters. Also, 24 Fitness needs to update their policy to prohibit young kids from endangering themselves by playing pickup games with men 2 to 3 times their size. It is completely irresponsible.

I'm extremely disappointed with 24 hour fitness. I'm looking into getting a gym membership so I signed up for a 3 day guest pass to check out the gym and equipment. When I tried to activate my guest pass, I was told that I can't activate it because my drivers license doesn't show my Oregon address. I recently moved from a different state so I haven't applied for a new drivers license. I even asked if I can show proof that I live here by showing a bill, however they said that they need my license to show my Oregon address.

We'll equipped gym with extra classes like yoga, cycle spinning, etc. Kept nice and clean. Personal trainers available (at extra cost) are quite good. They do strongly obey corporate guidelines, so you have to like what you see: can't/won't (not allowed to?) really change anything locally.

Great place for a workout and close to HW26. Free weights, basketball, racquetball, cardio, yoga/multi room, spinning and a nice pool. You can't ask for a better gym in the Portland/Beaverton area!

If I'm trying to be objective...I think the Staff/Mgmt are under a lot of pressure to be revenue focused. Incidentally, they can be cold / rude / childish at times. I'm not sure how to rationalize their attitudes / behavior otherwise. I think the culture suffers a bit from the rising popularity of fitness enhancment drugs/stimulants. Otherwise, its a very well kept gym, though I wonder about the Pool/Hot Tub/Steam after rumors of illness/breakouts started circulating.

Great place to work out; clean, friendly, well maintained gym.The gym is well maintained, the staff take time to ensure that weights are racked (when applicable), locker rooms are cleaned with plenty of clean towels.I generally go rather early in the mornings and find that the gym is being cleaned down after the day. The showers are cleaned, locker room maintained, sweat room clean as well as pool area kept. I recently started going twice a day in the prime hours as well... I was pleased to find employees dusting and cleaning gym equipment.Pros; These people care about the upkeep of their gym.People are friendly, overall atmosphere is nice.Everyone is respectful, even fellow comrades working out.Clean.Con's;During busy hours its hard to find a bench to use.Sometimes the water isn't cold. Some of the music they play is like... I couldn't even tell you. Bring headphones!Overall;I'm happy I took membership and find time to work out here. Everyone's making gains, the respect for common man/women is live in the atmosphere and I haven't really seen or had any issues. Some people complained about the morning staff and I've never had a bad experience; sure guy might be eating a bag of Doritos, but the place is clean, stocked and ready for everyone's morning. I haven't had membership issues like some other people claim - I say read what you sign up for. Go to this gym.

Went in to try and use a 3-day pass, and was told that "it could only be used between 9 a.m. and 9 p.m", and that "only the manager could check me in". Really? Nobody else is competent enough to press a few buttons and let me use the gym for an hour? Seriously, these are the kind of people that will go out their way to give you poor customer service... Never coming back to this place, and will warn other potential customers about them as well. Hope you guys are satisfied that you lost a customer!

First rate Gym, clean and modern. Staff is vary helpful and friendly. The personal trainers are vary good and know what they are doing. The Classes offered are for several levels of fitness and the instructors, again are vary informative and make the experience enjoyable and fun. The Gym equipment is up to date and kept both clean and in top condition and will accommodate all levels of fitness.I personally have been going to this Gym for 8 months, and focusing on rehab from surgery and I couldn't ask for a better facility. I haven't used the pool or sauna but they are available . Same for the Basket Ball court and Racket Ball. Looking forward to using both in the near future. Five Star !

Great gym, very new so it doesn't have that old sweat smell. Only downside is the parking lot gets packed and you're stuck with street parking at peak times, such as weekday noon and 5pm. I love the facilities though - best gym I've been to.
