Since the gym was shut down due to the hurricane and also due to holes in the roof at the Cleveland Ave and Winkler location, and with almost over half of the gym taped off where you can’t use those machines, will you be crediting us members for the lost days that you weren’t able to open up? I don’t like paying for a membership when I can only utilize some of the equipment because the other areas in the gym have roof damage, and with the other locations temporarily closed, yet you still opened up to half operational. That’s still a safety hazard even with areas in the gym taped off. How are you handling this issue?

I’m a Black-card member at the Gladious Ft. Myers Florida location. As almost every home and business in that area was damaged due to Hurricane Ian, including my home, and my Planet fitness. My Gym for courtesy put a hold on our members accounts so not to charge us while repairs are being done. Nice right!Today I went to another Planet Fitness in Ftmyers and was told I’m unable to use my black-card services at this gum ( your card is on hold) said the lady at the front desk. WOW. With so many people trying to help people anyway they can after the storm. THE PLANET FITNESS on CLEVELAND AVENUE OWNER IS SHOWING HIS COMMUNITY SPIRIT. SHAME ON YOU!

Super clean facility the staff are always very welcoming and know how to have a laugh the gym is super comfortable to work out in I have made it my home gym for the next couple decades!!

We are traveling a lot in our retirement, so we joined to have access to showers while on the road. This facility seemed clean, but I was disappointed that unlike all of the other PFs we've been to, there were no hooks or benches in the shower stalls for towels and bags. It made the process a challenge

Front desk girls were REALLY NICE I just signed back up after 13 months before I left the black card was how you checked in now things are different and clearly I'm not a mind reader and don't know how things go now and when I went to the cape pf that I signed up for the girl was absolutely rude I almost canceled my membership ft. Myers is a far drive from cape coral but customer service makes it worth it.

I just had a staff member named Mike threatened, embarrass and harass me. He's given me cruel looks in the past where he shakes his head when I check in. I don't know why he thinks he can threaten and embarrass me and shake his head. He also threatened to kick me out when I politely told him to stop harassing me. The showers are also dirty every time I come in. Please let me know what you'll be doing about this asap. Thanks.

Scammed me, I ended up moving quickly due to familial reasons, and I call to cancel my membership and there is nothing I can do supposedly. I call back and the only thing I can do after haggling is to send a letter. But oh guess what, they are still gonna charge me all these yearly fees even though I can’t physically cancel fast enough. Scam of a gym and company, just another corporate pirate stealing your money and screwing you over for bills.

I have been member since 5 months ago!!! You can find everything you need to workout, but I’m wondering if it’s possible to have a couples aerobics stepper and free squats machine!!!! Great staff as well ❤️

This health club chain is the best bargin in the country. Plus, I can visit any club in the country. Most of the clubs are beautifully maintained, well appointed. There is plenty of equipment, in the event you visit during peak hours. The hydro message is therapeutic. Most of the staff is friendly, hard working, conscientious. The only suggestion I will make is that all locations have the CNBC channel available. It is only in select neighborhoods.Having said all that, today's workout was at the PF 3854 Cleveland Ave. Fort Myers, FL. All was mostly as expected, until it was time to shower. The showers, all 4, have black and brown mold on the walls from 4' down to the shower base. The base also has mildew. What saw has built up over months. The mold is not only on the grout, but growing on the wall tile itself, which is rare. It is shocking! I suspect management does not visual heath inspections. Needless to say, it is disappointing.Finally, one would wonder, why write such a glowing review, then end with the individual location review? I'll explain, the glowing review was written a month ago. Somehow failed to post it? Today I had this rare experience, as a result, decided to write a review, specific to this location. Since the previous was not posted, but somehow saved in Google, I included the new. I've not changed my perspective on Planet Fitness it's a well managed company. But, as the original review said, most locations are very well maintained. I'm hopeful that the next time I find myself at 3854 Cleveland it has a clean showering environment.
