WATCH OUT!! This place is a franchise location and we've been trying to communicate with them since October. We spoke to Kiona in October about these issues and assured us a refund would come back to us as we've canceled yet were still charged!!! We've tried nicely to speak with the manager Kiona and refuses to speak to us after this issue. She does not return phone calls and is constantly avoiding us. I would like people to be aware that this location will take your money even after cancelling and being lied to for a refund. We've suffered and went through enough and I would like no one else to go what we went through.UPDATE: Just as we were writing this. We've received a $114 refund from them and Brittany was the only able to help us after speaking to numerous people to make our voice heard! We're still missing $35 dollars!!

I have been to many Planet Fitness gyms in this country and this one is BY FAR THE WORST. I assume it’s due to low staffing because I’ve never seen more than 2 people working here, the weights are super disorganized and laying around the gym, the bathroom isnabsolutely disgusting (Toothpaste tubes laying around, underwear left on the ground, crazy amount of flies in the showers). They still have the old yoga mats with tears and low quality padding (I dont know any other PF that uses these still) Place needs a SERIOUS re-vamp. I hate that it’s the one closest to my house.

This is a very clean and well-maintained gym. The front staff has been very nice and Vivian is an awesome trainer! I feel like I'm getting a great workout every time I'm there and will continue to go as often as I can.

I don’t think it’s up to the code/legal for a health club to have no running water or working toilets. In a place where you have people touching on shared equipment and drinking more water than they normally would, working toilets and running water is absolutely essential. It’s unacceptable. Porta potties In the back parking lot is no help, considering there’s no way to wash your hands and it’s not safe to go out there after dark. This place should be closed until this is resolved. Edit: Forgot to mention that the locker rooms smell, because they decided to leave feces and toilet paper and urine piled up in the toilets that aren’t able to be used.

Good clean and well maintained gym. Above average equipment for working out. Good music and tv’s everywhere. Friendly community, I always look forward to my workouts. Thanks Planet Fitness.

The mens locker room is always a mess. One of the urinals has been broken for three months and because there are only two, people use it anyway. There are also a lot of phone campers sitting on the equipment. So if you want to use it you will have to wait until they’re finished with whatever they’re doing on their phone. My biggest gripe is men wearing their shorts way down past their underwear almost exposing themselves… so ridiculous!

Been traveling and checking out as many PF’s as possible. Might of caught at a bad time, but in the time I was there(about 2 hours). no employee refilled spray bottles or paper towels. Also when checking in for the first time at this PF, the lady behind the counter wasn’t very helpful. Maybe she was just use to the regulars.The equipment was great, and plenty of space. Had a nice talk with some of the regulars.All in all, a good work out place.Thanks

Had to change my review 3 times because they keep messing with my bank account after weeks of already canceling my membership they keep pulling money still. June 15, I called in and was informed that the only way to cancel a membership is through mail or in person due to needing a signature. 100% understandable, I told them my car has issues atm but I will find a way there. I proceeded to ask more questions, They informed me that canceling my membership for this month would be free and I wouldn't be charged at all for anything. I even asked a second time to confirm, they got my information, looked me up said yes I wouldn't be charged. They even informed me they could freeze my membership for a couple of months free of charge due to my medical condition. Very kind over the phone costumer service.June 16, 12pm I go in person to cancel my membership and I'm told by the front desk worker everything I was told over the phone was practically false. They can freeze my membership for my health problems but he totally dismissed my health problems by completely ignoring them even though I stated it twice, (embarrassingly in front of others), Not only that but canceling my membership won't be free he informed me. Even though I havent attended, can't attend and have current health issues that are preventing me.I called in June 17, the manager was polite, acted like she was understanding of my health issues which I really appreciated, I got a refund on the amount I was charged on June 17th for.THEN the next week I got charged again! I need my money for medication! After signing papers to cancel and after getting money taken then a refund they STILL KEEP TAKING MONEY from my account! I call them about it and they just say "that's what we had to do you will get refunded" I'm like you already took money then refunded me why are you taking more!? She said "that was for last month, that was a refund for may" No it wasn't! I have bank statement proof you never refunded me for may because you can't if you take money for June 17 and then refund me the next day for June 17 AND THEN TAKE ANOTHER 25 OUT? that's not a refund for MAY!? How is that a refund for the previous month if you keep taking money out!? I have to now get my bank involved because they keep taking advantage of me.

Gross! Dirty! Yuck! I was there on business a few days ago and I couldn’t believe how gross and dirty this place was! Super disappointed! The showers were filthy with hair and grime and one shower even had blood on the floor! Gross. There are no hair dryers here probably because people would steal them! If that’s the case then the front desk should offer them. Gross place, gross area. I will never go back.

ATTENTION NEW MEMBERS: DO not give fort myers planet fittness your credit card they will double charge and promise you to give money back and even cancel your membership without permission even though current with payments. After cancel membership they will get there maintenance fee. The manager when call will never return your call and then you have go inTo see her even though it not your fault. Please don't make the same mistakes I did. I have current case with better business and I'm considering one with small claims court. 🤔
