They won’t let you cancel your membership. Planetfitness customer service uses no-reply emails after I sent in a complaint that the home club still hasn’t processed my termination letter.

4 months after initial review: homeless walking straight up barefoot thru club. Straight up barefoot sleeping on hydrobeds. They're not even TRYING to be low profile anymore. Same flies in dirty bathroom. Staff has improved somewhat. Photo is guy sleeping on hydrobed but is just of his bare feet.Original review: Compared to other pf, this one is scummy and unprofessional. I have video of insect larvae crawling across the shower floor. The showers NEVER look clean. They don't greet you or say anything when you depart. They don't enforce the circuit area policy. They don't even honor your reservation for massage and will give it to someone else even if you've arrived a few minutes early. Half the time the scanners don't work. Janky and unprofessional.

Machines are always broken, floors are disgusting, and they can’t be bothered to refill paper towels and sanitizer. Management needs to get its act together!6/8/23 update - place is still dirty with dust bunnies everywhere. Paper towel dispensers are still empty and cleaner is either low or bottles missing. In response to mgmt below, what location do you think I’m reviewing??? Look at the address.

This is the dirtiest gym I have ever seen. It put me in a terrible mood. Much of the equipment is out of service. They didn't have enough cable attachments for every cable. I had to take one off another spot to put a straight bar on. I took photos but only of the areas i had been. This was my first time at fort myers, Cleveland.I was using Illinois planet fitness prior. Also, club fitness even in the most sketch areas of Illinois and Missouri were never this gross and pathetic. I transferred my location before my work out unfortunately. There are no locks on the lockers like at other locations, so the lady offered to put my belongings behind the desk. The guy that was back there when i went to leave i told him 4 times where my drivers license and keys were. He didn't listen and kept looking other areas saying they weren't back there. Kept telling him my prescription sunglasses were under the hat. He kept not lifting it up. The parking lot even during the day is so sketchy i wouldn't leave anything important in my car. I will never return to this location again. If the others aren't better, I'll be canceling. Ps how do i post the photos?

Some of the equipment is not working. The apps busy meter is not correct. No management was informed by an employee when signing up for the membership. She was polite, and I signed up but definitely not the same for another staff lady. That staff member was rude to another potential member, but he turned his back, and I don't blame him. The other member I was with said, "How rude." Just not professional, in my opinion. Mostly clean.
