Planet Fitness

The absolute worst Planet Fitness, at least when you go there at night. No one is ever working the front counter. Me and another couple waited at the counter for over 20 mins waiting for someone to come by. One of the guys waiting with me even walked around the gym looking for someone and came back and said he couldn’t find anyone, so we both left. While I was waiting, 4 guys walked in and apparently only one of them had a gym membership??!! So, I pay for mine, but 3 others can work out and not pay? The womens changing rooms are always nasty. The toilet area is very unsanitary and there’s always toilet paper all over the floor and used feminine products. I don’t know if this happens during the day, but this is the norm at night. Thankfully I’m moving and will not be back to this location. If the next location is this bad, I will be canceling my membership all together and going somewhere else.

I been a black card member for like 9 years and I travel a lot and i must say this is the dirtiest planet fitness I ever seen. The floors are gross especially that bathrooms and tanning rooms and the paper towels are always empty. I know this is one of the easiest jobs on the planet so there should be no excuses.get it together!!

I never thought I'd have to complain through here but here I am. Please, to the owner of this particular Planet Fitness Facility: I've brought into attention to management many times about the gym showers conditions that are not clean. It's been almost a year now and the only thing constant there is the mold in the curtains as you can see in the pictures. More fungus and mold is growing from the shower's floors into the walls. Flies keep breeding in the area.. I've seen the same doubtful body hair in the same spot inside the shower for about three consecutive days. I don't think something like that would be possible. AC vents are even dirty! Sink is out of service. To the owner again: I undertand you been replying to these cleaning issues with "we always want our members to gym confidently and comfortably... we strive to accommodate all of our members needs with cleanliness" however this goes beyond "acomodating members needs" this goes into a violation of basic health conditions that has been kept for too long. I still believe this facility can be reconciliated  with Planets Fitness true spirit of striving gym members with confidence and confortability, and it is because of this that filing a complaint to the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (FDACS), which is the one who regulates gyms in Florida, has not been my personal route. Again, it has been brought to management many times without any real solution, please don't ask to do this, but I implore the owner to take this matter into his/her own hands and speak about this issue. I strongly hope that these days will be long gone and cleaningnes and confortablility can be the true face and behavior of this wonderful planet fitness facility.EDIT: I went to this facility again last week, same week I posted this unfortunate review which was 1 out of 5 stars, and when I went the shower curtains and the floor of the showers were cleaned spotless, thank you for listening and taking the time to take action into this serious matter. I'm leaving the same comment above and pictures to show others that this PF facility truly listens to their members and takes action inmidiatly. Changed review into a 5 out of 5 stars. Thanks PF family!

Gym attendant was really nice and patient with me as we fumbled around the application. The amenities were nice though I didn't try anything out but the gym equipment. The entire gym was spotless and there was just enough people to have a couple machines between each person no matter which cardio machine you wanted to use. Overall, great first visit. May update my review with photos in the near future.

I have been a member of this location for over a year and have seen it go down constantly. Thanks to Gene, he turned this location around. The first thing was the personnel, the completely new staff is courteous and very friendly. The bathrooms are now clean and the dispensers are in working condition. I'm reading all these bad reviews and I'm really surprised. I just left the gym and had an incredible workout. I love the set-up and the size of the gym. I was just there and the gym was clean, brightly lit, good music and an overall positive vibe. I have to say, Kiana ,Jana and the rest of the front desk are AWESOME! They greet everyone and are really friendly. I Loved my Planet Fitness experience!

I have been a member here since they opened. But I only came on Sundays when my rehab gym Is at Lee health was closed. When Covid 19 hit I worked out outside for a year until I got vaccinated. Lee health decided to close my gym . So I started working out every day here. I really have come to enjoy it a lot. The employees are great When I decided to upgrade my membership to a black card Shira Went above board to help me understand what my medicare would pay and what I would pay out of pocket. I have some issues with reading and writing due to a brain Aneurysm. She was extremely helpful and patient with me. Is also Hannah and Vivian Are great resources and extremely helpful on the floor. I also have noticed in the last few weeks there's been a big effort to fix equipment and work on cleanliness. Now even if Lee Health reopens the wellness center I'm gonna stick with planet fitness.

I hate giving low reviews and will change it if things improve. The men's bathroom and locker rooms are disgusting. Urinals have rust, urine all over them. Mirrors have pictures of genitals drawn on them. Showers have mold and flies. Lots of flies. These pictures don't do it justice. It has been this way for months. Please get this cleaned up .

The staff and club itself is really great. It is the billing that there is an issue. For two months in a row I have had "unable to locate" show up on my account for my automatic payments that are not being automatically withdrawn correctly, causing issues with my membership benefits that I like to do when I go to the gym. Now I have two seperate payments for my annual fee, but yet my account is "unlocatable". This is frustrating to have to go through every month. Please fix this, it is very inconvenient. I can't sign up for other things because there is always an issue with my account when there shouldn't be, and no one to speak to to fix it.

Initially it was very impressed by the cleanliness the friendliness and all the options that I had at this facility on 41. But the second time I went back I was not so impressed with the fact that although the people that work at planet fitness are adhering to the wearing of face masks they're not making the client tell where it. I am immunosuppressed and the fact that they're not wearing the clientele wear it I have stayed away from the facility. It's just very unfortunate cuz I really did enjoy going in and being able to relax with a tan and massage bed and chair and bringing a friend but I would just feel horrible if that friend caught something much less myself.
