I really enjoyed this gym and travel quite a distance to this location because it was simply better than Kessler & Irving. However, recently the gym has been flooded with high school kids with no respect for the equipment or gym goers. In addition, the workers seem to be indulging in extra circulars with each other while on the clock. The new guy that is apart of the cleaning team (lightskin guy with waves) follows women around the gym. A young lady has voiced this to a few regulars and for us to keep an eye on him because she doesn’t feel safe. To completely top it off a car was stolen out of the parking lot last night parked directly in front of the gym doors in a handicap spot. All things considered it’s safe to say the southlake location has become Kessler & Irving

We were in from 8:45 till closing and the closing worker was very rude the black gentleman younger guy was screaming at everyone every 3 minutes they were about to close and kicked us out a few minutes before actually closing not allowing us to finish our set we tried explaining we had one last that would take 20 seconds max he said no take it up with my manager he makes me do this yet the manager has let us stay till 10 in the past we feel like that is a very rude way to act and he should be talked to about that

I wish the hours were like the name, one of the reasons I signed up in the beginning was because I needed to be able to go at any time and not have someone yelling for half an hour that they are closing at 10 o'clock.

I’m canceling my membership. Just had 1 of multiple terrible experiences with the worker ( black guy with dreads) when I was working out this night. When it hits 9:30 pm he yells “guys the gym is closing in - minutes literally every 5 minutes and goes around interrupting everyone saying the gym is closing. But tonight was different, when it was 9:57 I was rushing and had 1 set that was going to take probably 15-20 seconds maximum. You know what he does? He comes over and says HEY PUT THR BAR DOWN THE GYM IS CLOSED! I put the bar down and pointed at my watch and told him I had 3 minutes and asked if I could finish my last set. He said NO NO! IF YOU HAVE A PROBLEM TAKE IT UP WITH MY MANAGER. like really? And to be clear I’m not someone who has ever had to be told to leave the gym, I keep a really close eye on my watch when it’s 10 minutes till closing and I have never stayed past 10 pm, and it’s an Apple Watch so it’s not behind on time. That’s what really surprised me. He does not treat the members of this gym with any respect, and that is why I have decided to cancel my membership with this gym. I have been a member here since 2014-2015 (before the remodel) and will be sad to change gyms. But it is what it is.

Grabbed a three day pass off their website and upon entering this gym they asked me where I’ve worked out before. What does that matter? I said the grapevine rec and I have a gym in downtown Fort Worth I go to when I’m there. She said I could only pay $20 for a one day pass cause I mentioned the grapevine rec. This place is actually closer to my home and was seriously contemplating joining instead of going to the rec. They will not ever get my business after this poor business decision by them to prevent me from trying out their gym. Pretty discriminatory practice to block people who’ve been members of other gyms. What a joke.

The quality of this gym has deteriorated, especially since "covid." It is no longer open 24 hours, as the name would imply. It's also not kept clean or properly maintained, especially in the locker rooms and shower areas. And what's up with the panhandlers allowed to pester people outside the front entrance?!?!

This sauna started off so good! When I bought my membership it was hovering around 190 degrees. Something changed and they dropped it to 150 degrees, which was annoying but I bought the membership so it is what it is. But now, they completely shut down the whole pool/sauna area with zero notice to remodel it. I am 100% for the remodel, but to come in at 5 in the morning just for my sauna session, this is just one of the many reasons why 24 hour fitness is looked upon as the spirit airlines of the gym world. I don’t use the gym for any other amenity so it was okay for me to overlook the rest of their flaws. I will never return to a 24 hour fitness and I truly suggest you do the same.

Plenty of equipment at my disposal, trainers willing to assist and clean facility.

Edit: I’ve cancelled because it’s not open 24 hours like the name entails…why go here when EŌS fitness has ALL the amenities as this gym does, has lowers prices, AND is actually open 24?! I really enjoyed going here since it’s close to my apartment and once the gym returns to being 24 hours then I will consider returning. Please don’t respond with it being because of COVID. It’s time to open the gym 24 hours again!I’ve signed up a few weeks ago and I’ve been using this gym several times per week. As I am often here, I will say that this is a great gym. The staff is friendly and everything I need is here and in great condition. I enjoy the classes, the instructors are great. The machines, yoga blocks, foam rollers, weights, etc are all fantastic. The only reason why I take away a star for this rating is because the steam room is usually down. I have heard this from several members in the gym that it is down at least once per month. According to the staff, it’s down because members pour liquid over the generator but a member in the sauna room yesterday suspects that it’s periodically turned off in order for the gym to save money. I’m not sure how that can be true since having it off will dissuade people from joining…or continuing as members. Please fix soon! Thanks for a great gym.Why isn’t this gym open 24 hours?!

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS LOCATION.I came in to try it out for the free 3 days that was offered online. I wanted to see if I could fit working out into my busy schedule but was not ready to sign up.I told the rep I was there only to test it out. He convinces me to sign up for like $2 so I could try it out for a month and assured me I could cancel anytime.I CANCEL the next week because I am just too busy to make it to the gym on a regular basis. I BELIEVED them when they said they cancelled it.4 MONTHS later I am STILL BEING BILLED. I go in person and speak to the GM MARVIN.I tell Marvin what happened and instead of helping me he starts telling me about how he is confused that I cancelled. He tells me there is NOTHING HE CAN DO about the 4 months that they charged me after I cancelled.*Update: I tried to use the contact us link they put in their reply it lets you fill it out but won't let you send it, doesn't work.
