The best Planet Fitness Gym franchise I've been in years the gym is well equipped has three of every workout equipment so waiting is nonexistent even during busy hours.

My home gym was El Paso, Montanna Avenue. I went to stop my membership as I am in the military, and traveling away, but it was closed. I drove to the next closest one, at Pebble Hills, El Paso.Upon asking to cancel my membership, they told me I would have to drive across town to the new address 20 minutes away. I told them I was leaving soon and tight on time, and they told me "Write a Letter". So I googled what I could do, and found out I could transfer memberships and the stop them at that gym.I had to go back inside, and inform the staff that I found out how to help myself, and the stopped the membership. This is a clear example of a lack of customer care. To me, the staff would rather see a customer drive across town, then inform them or help them stop their membership. To me this comes off as a deterrent to customers stopping membership, just to make it more difficult to cancel for the sake of the company gaining another 10$ for the month.

They didn't really have that much weight machines but a lot of treadmills, a place more for cardio, B+

At first I wasn't happy with the move being that it's further from my spot. I mean with the new additional equipment and the space.. I definitely appreciate and understand.... But only two hip abductor machines?! Really?!

Good, weekends needs cleaning... ok until they close to relocate with out telling customers. They had a date to close a month before had it all over the facility and it didn't happen. I guess they moved the date for closing but they never posted, communicated anything and I go almost every day. Call for information no answer not even a recording or something.

The new location is nice and big or whatever. My only gripe is, why is it so f'ing bright in there. I wish the Mesa location still had the dark cardio room. I would get the black card again and drive out there just for that.

This new location has more equipment and better layout. The new functional training area is great. The only downside is the showers, old location had doors, new location has courtains that are barely the size of the shower. Friendly staff

Great price and a good setup. If you're into free weights is not the best but it had some. The one downside is the only way to pay is with direct withdrawn from your bank account. I hate doing that: I almost didn't join because of that. But the price can't be beat for what you get. They used to allow you to pay a year in advance but not anymore. If anyone opens a comparable gym at a comparable price and allows payment by CC or paying in advance then I'd switch.
