This place is over crowded and there is only 2 mats in the entire gym being hogged by people that love to lay on them and be on their phone. I've been to other cities and their gym is nice. I don't understand why the upstairs is always closed, hence why the downstairs is always crowded. The overall set up here sucks I don't see the need for a big Lobby when the space can be used up by members. Other than that super nice staff.

they do not cancel your membership, they continue to charge me 3 extra months. I went in and had to grab someone's attention. It's not that they were very busy at the front, they were busy on their facebook Finally I was told to fill out a form and asked for my ID. After I was done they gave me my copy and said "thanks" and walked away! I had to continue standing there to ask someone to give me a tour. This was pretty bad customer service. But I guess like someone else said, you get what you pay for. I now work out at new you gym and I lost 20 LB

Staff is okay. Restrooms are clean. Have been member for 3 years. Did not feel comfortable went to Far West one now. Since a member complained about my bag and right away staff gave her attention. It was embarrassing. It should have been done privately.

Love this gym. Got to say it is exactly what they advertise; No judgement zone. The hours are super flexible, it is very clean, restrooms are nice, customer service is great, someone is always readily available to help, a big plus is that they have a trainer during the day at no extra cost and a circuit room. The montly fee is unbelievably low, and I have never seen an extra unauthorized charge on my account. Definitely recommend. Exercise improved my quality of life x 100%... Thanks Planet Fitness!

Joined in July 2015. The staff goes out of their way to accommodate you. It's a great place to workout. I use the massage tables and tanning booths all the time. Not a gym for serious power weightlifters but for the average "JOE" looking to get in better shape. Friendly people, hot chicks, fair prices, clean locker rooms and nice equipment..who could ask for more?

I came to planet fitness for several years (before moving too far away) and I was always happy with the gym and the prices. Their rates have gone up some, which I don't like. Their equipment is good, but more tailored towards people who want a light/medium workout. If you're serious about fitness, planet might not be the best for you because of their lack of non-assisted equipment. Facilities are clean and decor is nice.

men's locker rooms are disgusting. lacks equipment and some doesn't work... specially cardio machines. Music not that good for working out and their little fridge they have is packed with sodas and fatty beverages to sell... seriously!!! I'm an athlete who really likes to work out and have tried several gyms like Ballys, LA fitness and 24hr fitness, and planet fitness is by far the worst of them all.

Pricing is good, equipment is usually in good repair and facilities are acceptably clean. Steam room... why is it even there since it isn't functional? Some of the staff is very friendly and helpful, others should probably consider learning an actual trade - Customer service is not in their ability! As a general rule, unless I go at a peak hour, I've never had to wait for cardio equipment and most of the members are good about gym etiquette... (cleaning up after themselves, replacing weights correctly, letting others work in) The hydro massage (black card only) and tanning are nice perks, but the fitness training is a bit of a joke. Good for someone who has no gym or fitness experience, so that is useful for them, but the only time I've ever seen the trainers pay attention to the trainee group is when there is a pretty girl in tight workout gear. That can be pretty douchey to see them act that way. Free bagels and pizza? Pfft... I guess it's good for someone trying to bulk up... the rest of us are trying to be more conscious of what we eat, but it's a nice gesture.Pros: cheap, convenient location, plenty of equipmentBlack card perks: all location access, hydromassage, massage chairs, discount on vending, tanningCons: trainers aren't friendly or equality minded, non-functional steam room, new contracts are not as user friendly as the old versions, staff is really inconsistent.

Front desk staff could be more friendly. There is a lady that does not smile at all and acts more like a guard then like a service person. Equipment is good and place is clean. I like working out there.

I've been a member at Planet for a very long time. When I moved to the west side I decided to start using this gym since it was closer to home. Well I can tell you one thing if I didn't care about my health I wouldn't be going to this gym. For starters the front desk people are VERY RUDE!! The first time I went in and asked for a tour this boy named Eddie told me that he would be right with me and I could tell he was upset because he gave me attitude about it and had to remind him after 20 min of waiting, while he was talking to his co worker! Another time i went in I saw the same 2 people Eddie and some girl just socializing up at the front and not helping assist customers who were standing at the desk for a good while. I only saw him put a smile on his face to one customer that walked in and didn't even check his ID number just let him walk in as if he owned the gym. Also when you ask the front desk for some kind of help they roll their eyes at you and make you feel worthless. Especially these 2 people i see all the time when i go in. All my friends who are into fitness I always tell them to get a membership at EP because of the rude staff they have up front who are lazy, rude and inconsiderate. I'm just waiting for my contract to end to leave that place ASAP and go to a better facility with friendlier staff and where its less crowded!
