Absolutely appalling that you can only cancel a membership in-person or by mail. Especially in a pandemic/post-pandemic time where so many things were/are handled virtually.

I have a free membership through my Medicare plan. However, their handicapped shower in the ladies room has been inoperable at least half the time during the past year.Update: It has been about a year since I wrote the above review. The situation has gotten worse. They "fixed" the seat in the shower, and about a month later, it fell off the wall with me on It! Thankfully I was not injured. But when I reported it to management, their solution was to hang an "out of order" sign on it for the next three months. About two months ago, they completely redid the shower--new bench, new tile, etc. HOWEVER, it appears to be completed except for no shower curtain. I decided to use it anyway with no curtain, then discovered that the shower head had such low water pressure that it could not be used. What gives? How hard can it be to provide a working shower? The other showers have absolutely NOTHING to hold on to, and with soapy feet, I slipped and fell. Again, I was not hurt. But how many miracles can I count on? Guess it's time to look around for a health club with a working safe handicapped shower!After writing the above paragraphs, I decided to use the handicapped shower again, even though the shower head was still pathetically low in pressure. Also, it has always taken about five minutes before the water gets warm enough to shower. More than a month ago, after the water finally got warm, I wet my hair and applied shampoo. The water almost immediately got cold again! I waited ten minutes and the water never got warm again! I was forced to rinse my hair in cold water, and with such low water pressure, it took forever! I actually was still shaking TWO hours later!But I guess I am a slow learner. Three weeks later, I decided to take another shower there, thinking that the previous experience was just an anomaly. WRONG!! This time I got soaped up all over, and then the water went cold AGAIN! So I rinsed with cold water and low pressure! I was CRYING the whole time!Both of these instances of cold water occurred AFTER MIDNIGHT! It is my opinion that they purposely cut the hot water heater off, thinking no one will be showering in the wee hours of the morning. After the warm water that is in the tank runs out, the client is just out of luck!I will definitely NEVER go to this health club again! Why would anyone subject themselves to such TORTURE??!!

Great Gym, Staff and Facility. Very clean environment and the employees are friendly, courteous and professional. I highly recommend.

Heading there now. This one is near my place it's OK at certain times like after hrs time but daytime ya got a awkward crowd of dudes there act like they just beefed up and then ya got women there that need someone to hold there hand during a workout or women don't do to much there in an out and to many ppl watching me and my workout and on another day I see ppl trying to copy my workout smh silly rabbits lol

This gym is always cleaned and well taken care of. The employees are very friendly, greeting you once you come in and out. They are awesome 👌..... …

unprofessionalunfortunately people sneezing and coughing without mask, people not respecting personal space. Machines are always breaking down. too many people slamming weights which is why machines keep breaking down. Management tells you they will address problem but never do unless you ask them too even tho they hear slamming. Threatening to kick members out for talking about God. When you ask people to stop slamming weights they try to fight and intimidate people which is silly no ones trying to fight, slamming is so loud it can be heard across gym with headphones with music up so loud its hurting my hearing. Staff would rather daydream or be somewhere else instead of working, plus employees have nose so deep in phones they really wouldn't know whats going on around them. Very disappointed in lack of unprofessional by majority of employees.Update Gym is now being cleaned at night and more during day, guy on night shift is very respectful and never has attitude, Treadmills are up for more then 3 hours before being cleaned, Guy who works for corporate is very nice and told me he would talk to staff bout slamming even tho it hasn't stop gym is deff improving. I had annual fee due on November 1st couldn't pay it till november twelfth, but they said i had to pay for month but couldn't come in until fee was paid, kinda sucks because i been a black card member for over a year. Hopefully gym keeps improving not a terrible location.November 16 my last day of membership employee told me i wasn't welcomed and that i didn't belong, which is kinda funny because planet fitness says we belong hmm not ever going back hopefully one day they hire new managers and employees becuase they are hurting the bussiness and planet fitness was a great gym in ny.

GABBI IS THE GENERAL MANAGER THERE , NEVER HAVE I EVER BEEN SO HUMILIATED IN MY ENTIRE LIFE BY A CLUB MANAGER. EVERY PLANET FITNESS HAVE A " NO CTRITICISM " RULE. SHE PURPOSELY DISOBEYED THE POLICIES OF THIS WONDERFul CLUB PLANET FITNESS. After TRAVELING FOR NEARLY 3 years OVER THE ROAD IVE NEVER HAD A CLUB MANAGER TO BE so Racist and CONTROLLINGtowards thier staff. I asked GABBI's staff to intervene on my behalf to calm her down and she dictated and manipulated them. I told Her ( you're making me feel uncomfortable and you're making me feel like you're a racist) she told me ( you can leave)...... sheHas a bad temple. I had a good spirit with the entire staff up until she ruined everyone mood. I wasn't forced to leave the property I was just HUMILIATED so badly by this beast.

Even though this is an older facility you don't have to worry about people staring at you and making you feel comfortable and the staff are very friendly. Also they are truly 24hrs, one on forest in Dallas isnt!!

Absolutely love the staff! Ashley and Abby are the most helpful and friendliest staff members hands down. The Walnut location is a great, clean environment to do my work outs.

zero management. You go after 4pm and every squat rack is occupied. People leaving machines for 10 minutes and putting towels and water bottles on them. Dumbbells go to 65 or 75 lbs. The lunk alarm should be pushed all the time. Guys posing in the mirrors, blocking the lane for the dumbbells, leaving weights laying around. Just lazy people standing around the counter but don't really do anything to manage the club - not their fault - just zero management from this organization. If you need many gyms around town, Planet Fitness will get you by. The other gym brands ar better. Some planet fitness are about average or above. This one is unfortunately not.
