It's ok. Underground setting is not for everyone. It can be claustrophobic if you dont like being underground with no window view. Locker rooms are ok. High in theft rate. Equipments not always working and if you report it to the desk they roll their eyes like it's your fault...ummm no, I tried to use it and it wouldn't start. Other that it's not high volume traffic on any shift of the day.

Greatest Deal for the Price. Zach is a mgr that leads by example. I saw him cleaning the bathrooms in the morning 2 days in a row. Spacious place and they have a 30 min "Express" Cardio section which I love. Suggestions: (1) Get rid of the shower curtains. Guys are taking too long in the 5 shower stalls behind a curtain. Curtains need to be disinfected regularly. (2) the water fountains have grime & slime build-up in them. They should be disinfected each day. The night crew of Carlos & wife are nice but they are not filling up the soap dispensers in the showers and they are not scrubbing the shower stall walls nor the lockers. Otherwise, you will not find a cheaper deal. 24 hours daily.

Thought, that I wouldn't enjoy working out at this gym due to it being underground. Fremont gym was initially my gym but moved to Hayward and this gym is 4 minutes from my house. With hesitation, I convinced myself that I would get usto this location and I'm glad I did because this location is awesome. What I found was the staffs greetings are on point. How comforting to come into this establishment and be treated so kindly. I am not bias but, Lee is so polite and respectful and that is hard to encounter these days. Whenever, I bring any concern to the desk they always are attentive and resolve my concern. Be the ladies restroom not having tp or the rolls of paper missing near a garbage can. It's not a constant issue but, due to one or two front desk associates it's managed well. Love this gym and it wouldn't be the same without the great front desk Associate Lee☝️ 😊

Big gym, but dark and dirty, mens restrooms and showers dirty, moldy, bad smelling. Lockers rusted, dirty too.

Yeah Fontaine I'm a member of Planet Fitness and a semi truck driver I'm not trying to weigh 400 pounds or 350 lb so not only me I a member of Planet Fitness but I'm also a member of LA Fitness and the Planet Fitness at the mall in Hayward just kick me out because I drive a semi truck and I park my semi truck overnight and they wanted to tell it for $1,800 and they told me I had to move now and I couldn't even finish my workout so the mall security over here won't allow Planet Fitness customers to work out or at least finish their workout the security here of wannabe cops the people in Planet Fitness didn't care I don't know what to think all I know is it's not cool when you belong to two different gyms and all you want to do is get your pump out on and Mall security kicks you out right underneath the machine literally came in and pulled me right out from underneath the machine and then told me to leave I couldn't even finish my workout this place sucks

Worst equipment in any gym ivw been to. These people will hit their "lunk " alarm if you breath too heavy. This gym is not for people who want to get stronger or lose weight. I've been to 5 other pf locations and none of them were like this one.

This place has a relaxed, warm, welcoming atmosphere and the staff is friendly and very accommodating. If you like to work out or need to, I highly recommend this PF.

Annual member here, love the gym so far mainly come during the early am hours. The staff is always kind, friendly and honest. When asked if they or any employee they knew were actually trained on the use of the first aid defibrillator kit they said they did not know if anyone that did, then staff asked me if I knew and I said no. If course even if I did know I don't think I would be able to use it on myself if I'm having a heart attack. I suggested that they should ask their boss to send them to a training course and if they got certified the employee should receive some kind of a raise. I would like it if the management would also double check that it is in operational order. The only thing worse than having no first aid kit available, is for there to be one but no one knows how to use it because PF couldn't be bothered to make the small investment in some of their promising employees! Fix this and my rating goes to 5 stars

i had canceled my member since March last year, but they still keep charging my bank account. i have never used their service. i called last night, someone ask me to call back today asking Zax (may spell wrong). i have just left couple messages today, but no one return my call.Please DO NOT Charge my bank account and refund back to me whole last year membership
