I enjoy the atmosphere. I’ve been coming for years and glad to see it’s finally opened back up despite COVID. It’s always been a clean place, all the workers, past, present and current have been lovely, especially the night staff. Night shift doesn’t get enough credit like they deserve and I definitely have to give it to the night crew that does work.

So I’m not a gym person, I’ve literally detested going to gyms and only recently started going as a way to maintain my health. This place is made for people like me and also for people who are serious about the gym.As far as the facility itself, it’s huge, it’s always clean and the staff are very friendly and are always very helpful.There are some days that it’s more crowded than others and they have done a good job in posting what times are less busy.Lastly, it’s great to be in a gym/ fitness facility where you can find the young/ the old/ the fit and the not so fit, everyone pursing their fitness goals in a non judgmental place.

Beautiful location; very clean, organized, and well updated. Everyone has been friendly! I just wish the location itself felt safer. The parking lot is REALLY dark at night, and the location isn't super nice. I'm sure it's fine during the day, but with the sun going down at 5pm, I've only experienced it after work - in the dark, and it's not super pleasant.That's not really the responsibility of the gym though, for what they have - they do a wonderful job. :)

Love it. Very friendly staff, they always remember me. Say "hi" and "good night" etc. Good vibes. Good people. Good choice of machinery. I wish there were more Smith machines but, I don't know if you could ever have enough. Also, I wish there was a sauna or steam room. A little upset they decided to go to contracts even though they advertise "no commitments" however, monthly memberships are more than reasonable for what you get. I've been going for over a year now and always leave pleased. I definitely recommend.

I absolutely love this place!! Staff is wonderful!! I love working out, then getting my massage on, and then go for a tan!! One thing I wish you guys had is a weight scale in the women's restroom!!

I travel from Michigan to NC to see grandkids on a monthly basis. The black membership provides the access I needed to maintain my health journey! This location is clean & friendly. I’m treated exactly like “their” member and not differently

For the price you can't beat it. You def not going to become a bodybuilder here, but awesome for general fitness. I can bring guests everyday, tan, and workout for super cheap. Staff is super friendly and the gym is always clean.

I love planet fitness. Some are a little better run and cleaner than others but in general they all make me feel at home. The new one on Plank Road in Fredericksburg Is big and beautiful, super well run and super clean. It’s my favorite.

I absolutely love planet fitness! I was very sick, near death, and once I recovered I joined to get healthy! The atmosphere is great and love the options for the different work out areas and machines. Haven't used the massage beds yet, but I do tan. I have visited SEVERAL other locations and beds are Jacksonville location seems a little out of date. The beds haven't been upgraded compared to the Dunn location. Some of the plexi-glass you lay on has places that do not come off with cleaning them and there are things between the glass and the bulbs. Some of the staff seem as if they are being bothered with questions or help. One day...I had to notify the staff of replacing paper towels in the bathroom...also, I asked for the gold eye stickers, and you didn't have them ( I use them for a scar on my face that can't have sun for 6 months). I did ask for the wattage of the bulbs, but no one knew. Also there are no small one use tanning packets for a just in case I forget mine situation. Lastly, the other locations have tvOS actually on the cardio equipment...it was great. Again, I love going and rave to others the great deal it is to use the entire facility for the 22 dollar charge. Location just needs some updating. Thanks for your consideration of my review.

I LOVE this place!!All the employees have been super nice and Peyton that teaches the classes is so nice and knowledgeable. He's made me feel comfortable and excited about working out. Their tanning beds are also super great. They were actually installing new bulbs while I was there today. I think this is the best gym in Jacksonville and I've been to them all.I want to ammend my review. The only nice thing about this place is Peyton. He is friendly and seems to actually care about the customers.Cleanliness is questionable especially in the tanning beds. If I keep going it will be bc of Peyton.
