Loved this gym while I lived in Alpharetta. Cancelled because I moved into Atlanta. I was concerned cancelling might be rough, but it went smoothly. It is one of the priciest gyms in the area, but it is worth it. Check with the gym for pricing - I had heard about other LifeTime gyms and thought it was out of my price range. This one was actually quite affordable. It varies gym by gym. It get crowded at peak times, but I like to workout later in the evening so I missed the crowds. Yoga here is excellent and the pool is great for laps. The spas, steam room, saunas, and locker rooms are resort-like. Well stocked with all the exercise equipment you'd ever want. I only encountered kindness and encouragement from the staff. Great customer service for joining/cancelling. Its worth it!

Don't Join!! Great gym, but the issues lies within the horrible Horrible employees. They don't smile... let alone speak to you. Billing services are totally ridiculous!! I wish I could put an emphasis on how outrageous they are. That's the main reason I cancelled. There's never anyone to help you when needed. I've called a few different times and half the time never received a call back. It's just such a ridiculous thing to not be able to have a good experience at such a fantastic gym. I spoke with someone from the corporate office today and sorry to say she was comepletely useless.

Don't sign up! Rip off alert! I signed up for the trial 2 week membership where I had 14-days to cancel my membership. 10 Days into the trial I went to the gym to cancel it. First one of the representatives told me that I could cancel because the guy who signed me up was not in and he had to process the cancellation. I asked when he would be back, and was told 5 days. Mind you my trial ended in 4. I told him this was not acceptable and he needed to cancel it, and I was not leaving until it was done. He magically found a cancel form in his desk and filled it out. He assured me it would be handled within the week. Fast forward 2 weeks I call to confirm the cancellation, and spoke with the original person I signed up with. He had no clue I came in at first, then said "ohhhh yea I have your form" I'll get it entered and process it. It will take 4-7 days to have the refund on your card. Fast forward another two weeks, I now have a second months charge on my card. I called to speak with a manager and was hung up on TWICE! Then finally told I will have to wait for a call back because their computers are down. I've contacted my credit card company and will let them handle this BS. I have a copy of the cancellation form so they can officially kick rocks.

The facility is definitely a step above most fitness gyms. People have complained about the rates and hidden fees, but I recently signed up and haven't had any problems as of yet. The swimming pool, weights, kids center, spa, classes and facility is overall very nice. Looking forward to it!

Phenomenal fitness center. Has everything!! Best fitness center around and staff by the finest talent! Though what I rave about most is the Life Cafe!! Kudos to Jonathan and the whole staff. He will always greet you and makes you feel like family!! Really the whole staff is lovely and I hope management sees this and knows the passion and care you give. They are always coming up with some amazing foods. I just love like 99.8% of the menu (not a fan of broccoli nor cauliflower). The best thing they do that nobody comes close to is their peanut butter smoothie (like a Reese cup). It is out of this world, Yummm!! Their chicken salad, which sounds blah is outstanding!!! Most of the meals I buy are around $10, so good prices, super prices for fresh and better way better than WholeFoods! I love going before work and getting my lunch from them. I do even enjoy working out their, but the best part is the recoup time in the Life Cafe!

I am a second time member to Lifetime, the first time was from 2008-2009. I do enjoy going to this club, I find it to be clean and the staff is customer service oriented. They do have swim teams there on some evenings during the week so that means members have less access to the pool. The classes are really good and the instructors are certified, so I do enjoy them. Overall, I am happy with this club.

Please do not waste your money or time. We had our 3 kids for about 16 moths in semi-private lessons with poor results.. The new aquatics head is a young adult with not customer service skills. There is not really a work plan or …

I have been a member here since 2008 and originally was very pleased with my experience. Lifetime has grown over the years and has now added what they call diamond clubs (peachtree corners and sandy springs). The monthyl dues have continues to rise and I now find myself having to leave this club - $70/month for a gym is a bit too much. The gym recently went through a complete renovation to include new equipment and this is nice but cannot justify the cost. The gym is oversold and the classes are always packed. It is almost impossible to get a spin bike if you are not there atleast 45 minutes prior to the class starting and the same goes for barbell and zumba classes. Bottom line: there are too many options in the area that are more affordable and offer the same things

I love Lifetime! It is pricey, but well worth the money, if you take advantage of the amenities.I especially appreciate how helpful Josh, one of the sales representatives, is. He keeps me updated with what's going on and helps me get the most out of my gym experience AND (!!!) my money.

Summary: Awesome pools and machines, BAADDDD customer service.I have been a long time Lifetime member, since 2009. The place is good, especially in the summer, however, it can quickly get packed, and it can be a struggle to find a machine, or a spot in class. However, the reason I am writing this review, is regarding the customer service I have received in the past few months, and how it has deteriorated significantly from what I knew before.I just returned to school, and can no longer afford the gym. I call to find out how to cancel, and am told to come in personally M-F between the hours of 8-4. But wait, when I walk in, I see that office hours are M-Sat until 8pm...hmmm. From then on, it was bad. I kept on getting told that I should just put my account on hold and pay $10 each month, that it would be too expensive for me if I cancelled and then decided to come back. After this initial meeting, I received calls for a good 2 weeks straight saying my card was no longer in their system or no longer active. Not to mention the cancellation process is two months long, and even after I called to confirm that I would not be charged for the following month, I was charged.Speaking to customer service was useless, as they just kept repeating the same thing over again, instead of just telling me when I would be completely out of their system, and when my last charge would be. Not to mention that during one interaction, I was told there was no mention of my cancellation. I felt completely belittled. I regret not reading these reviews before I began the cancellation process, as I think they may have prepared me more for what was to come. The moral of the story is this: If you know that you are never ever ever ever going to change gyms, or you get excited at the thought of having to jump through bureaucratic hoops for a simple change, then this is the gym for you.Final word: Awesome pools and machines, baaaaaddd customer service.
