Oh yeah! They are rude, I did not return there and I canceled my membership because an employee was taking me out when I was exercising in front of everyone. The reason is that a payment didn't go tru since April, and this happened in August and that happens because they don't charge the card on time ... I had the membership there since they opened and now for a payment it wasn't my fault they made me that rudeness... So I don't recomend this place anymore.

My hubby and I go almost 3 times a week! I love how many different options for cardio and strength training are provided. Coming to Planet Fitness is extremely rewarding. There are workouts laid out for you, like the 30 minute challenge if you dont know what to do, and if you do know what you want, there are fitness trainers available to help guide you in a safe and fulfilling workout plan. Thanks Planet Fitness, 10/10!

Absolutely love this place! As a single mom, I love all of the options available of the price plans, exercise equipment, the friendliness of the staff, the cleanness of PF, good vibes, and I always leave feeling happy! I highly recommend this place if you're looking for affordability and quality to go hand in hand :)

The staff is super duper friendly and the facility is in good condition and is very clean. I have never had to wait to use any equipment. It is a very accepting atmosphere and a great location, and of course a wonderful price.

The Lawrence Planet Fitness is very clean and the staff are very nice and friendly. They recently got new equipment and I’m really glad they went 24/7! They weren’t when they first opened and I was one of (probably) a lot of people who requested this location to go 24/7.

My husband and I recently moved and switched our memberships from the Overland Park Planet Fitness to the location here in Lawrence. The Lawrence location here is a million times beyond the old location we used to be at. I LOVE my new Lawrence Planet Fitness.The Lawrence location is not even close to full even at their busiest times, the employees are helpful and kind, the whole place is so clean and I see the employees here actually working and helping their customers. Not to mention, the Lawrence location is actually open 24/7 unlike the Overland Park one when we used to go there. This is a huge pro for me coming here since I get more use out of my membership with the time flexibility. When we switched gyms, Planet Fitness asked me for feedback on how we liked our new gym, I told them the only thing I could suggest was to get some rowing machines at this location. I got a call back on that same exact day from their manager letting me know that they ordered rowing machines and that they would be there that week.Really great service and respect for their members (in my opinion) to contact their customers that quickly for something that wasn't even a serious complaint. We upgraded to the black card membership based on our good experience at this new location.

Love the "judgement free zone" and number of machines; I never have to wait for a treadmill, bike, or elliptical. The atmosphere is great and the gym is well-kept and clean. I have never felt intimidated while there. The staff is great and helpful. Definitely recommend!

The gym itself is fine, the way they charge their members is not. All those signs you see claiming $10 a month don't mention the "maintenance fee" they charge you. The one year contract you sign automatically renews but they don't mention that either. It's in the fine print. So keep in mind you are basically signing a lifetime contract and you can't cancel by email or phone. You have to go in and sign a card and hope it's early enough in the month that they'll not charge you one more time. They send an email for all kinds of worthless things but somehow don't send one to tell you when you're nearing the end of your year that you signed up for (this way they can automatically renew you instead) or when they are charging your yearly "maintenance fee". Don't bother complaining or trying to get them to do the right thing about those unwanted charges though. Their response is that it's "in the contract". Steer clear of this one.

Great place to work out lots of amenities and perks. Would like a little more free bar weights. Also, kind of Overboard on the cardio equipment not enough resistance. But all in all a good gym for the price.
