I love the Lawrence location! It's great 90% of the time. Honestly, the only issues I ever have are with men who never wipe the machines down after they use them. It would be nice to see staff members following up with them, or maybe place more emphasis on that when people sign up. No one want to sit on a machine after someone else's sweaty butt has been on it, haha. Otherwise it's a wonderful experience! It's the only gym I've ever felt comfortable going to.

Very professional and friendly staff. Definitely welcoming and a super clean facility. The employees and customers are very nice! My boyfriend and i stopped in to get a little cardio in and clean up(tan&shower)in the middle of our roadtrip. Such a nice refreshing planet! The tanning beds had pillows unlike other planets and they had aqua bed and chair massagers along with the regular massage chairs. The staff cleans the tanning beds for you and the bed lets the staff know it hasnt been cleaned yet on the bed screen. Wonderful planet experience compared to others.

Love this Planet Fitness facility.I wish they were open 24/7 but I do understand this area is not as demanding for that.I definitely feel like I get my money's worth here. Between the awesome month to month membership price, member perks and just overall inviting and clean area it's really easy to go workout here.

Love this place and the people in it!Update:I like that you're open 24/5, I work nights so I go when I get off work. The place is always clean and the staff are very nice. I love planet fitness and have been to gyms all over the country. I recently moved to Lawrence and made this gym my home gym. The staff is great and very friendly. The gym is very well kept and clean!

Great deal for the space they have available. Lots of treadmills, ellipticals, and stationary bikes, along with free weights & machine weights. Usually there are 1 or 2 things with a sign on them that the machine is out of order, but by the next time I come it isn't there anymore.Staff is helpful, locker-rooms are clean, other members usually clean up after themselves.

From an outsiders perspective it's really nice! A lot like other locations I've been too!A huge plus here is the cross training section with the ropes, kettle bells and other ways to train differently which is my personal favorite!Also good tanning beds here, I usually talk once or twice a month depending on what events I have.The bulbs in these beds seemed perfect and I like when I see a little tan tint right when I get out. Nice that they clean the beds for you here too!Great location, it's right across the street from the First Watch breakfast and lunch place we ate at right before. It was nice to just across the street and go to this planet fitness!Really convenient, there's a lot of other places on the street it's right down the street from the University.I'd definitely come here again!

The staff is proactively helpful and friendly, the equipment is plentiful and the hydromassagers are out of this world. Really glad I joined, and PF makes it easy to keep my workout promise to myself.

Since my families last club of 10 years closed we have been looking for a new one to join in Lawrence. I joined planet fitness little over a month ago and I've enjoyed everything it has to offer never seems too crowded or waiting for a machine and they have nice lockers and shower at a great rate. My father has been trying to decide between Genesis and PF to join and the last time he visited PF they told him he could have a free "workout" to try it out and see if he wants to join since Genesis does the same thing. However earlier today when my father came in with me to try it out they told him he couldn't workout because I didn't have a black card to bring him. I can understand this but after the man denied my father access my dad just said lets go to Gensis to workout since they will let us in now problem I looked back to the guy who denied him access he just srugged and kinda sneered. I was completely blown away by the rudeness of this man since most of the staff has been friendly to me but this man was very rude to my father and I. That alone has defiantly lost my father as a customer just because of his poor custumer service.

Really good place to go, Lawrence location is very nice. Was iffy about the whole pf franchise at first fearing that one little slip up and the alarm might go off. The staff are friendly and helpful, building and lockers especially clean.
