Really discouraged at the quality of child care / kid care. I came in for a tour & Katalina(?) the front desk lady was amazing. She was personable and friendly & as we toured the gym, I was pretty certain I’d be signing up. Then we went and looked at kid care….and it was a deal breaker. All of the kids were on little couches in front of a screen watching a Mario movie. I asked if they always had a movie going and she said yes “for neurodivergent kids” (which is not necessary if you look into the science—kids need engaging activities). Anyway, I know my kid would just sit in front of the TV with all the other kids the whole time & that’s really discouraging. There was a whole room but no toys or activities were out. The ladies were mostly sitting at the desk & all the kids were in front of the TV which she said is pretty much always playing a movie. I won’t be bringing my child here because I don’t want a screen to be their babysitter. So I unfortunately won’t be able to come & experience the rest of this amazing gym & classes. If this ever changes, please let me know. I’d love to attend if my kid is able to be engaged with people & not a screen.

Great gym. I really enjoy my workouts at Vasa Layton. Very good customer service (Alisson, Daisy and Abby are great) awesome workout machines and lots of space. The gym environment is also great. Everyone is very respectful and focus on their fitness goals. I strongly recommend it!

Canceled my membership today! Dirtylicious Dance Fitness was canceled at this location. I now have an EŌS membership! I’ve been wanting to switch over since EOS is 24hrs and vasa is not. When EOS was still golds gym (YEARS AGO) I switched over to VASA because of the fun dance fitness classes. With VASA kicking out these classes in the northern Utah region I happily canceled my membership.

I have been a member since March last year. It's been over a year. Rain, shine, snow I stick to this gym every week. I've enjoyed my time here this past year. Not only the basketball court, not only the gym equipment area. Let me know a lot of like-minded friends here. The staff in the past were also very polite. They always says hello to us every time we walks in. I don't know what kind of staff you've hiring on recently. In recent weeks, some of my friends and I have been exercising on the basketball court. The lights used to turn off at 11:30 to 45 to remind us to be ready to close. Now, with 15 minutes to go until 11:45, They keep turning off the lights and forcing us to leave, including the dark outside gym area. I don't know if we're keeping them from work, or if they're trying to hurry us to leave early. Ten minutes to go and the basketball court is already dark. This has never happened in the past. And it's not just about once or twice. But now every week, every time I come here. We ignored it at first. Now we really can't stand that happening. If They turn off the lights at 12 am on time, we will automatically to leave without delaying the work of the staff. When we went up to the front desk and asked what was going on. They said we supposed to be turn off the light. This kind of service attitude really annoys me. I had to leave rather than quarrel with them. I'm sorry, are we do something wrong? Originally we came here to relax the mood and exercise everytime. But It's not as enjoyable as it used to be.

Their equipment is always clean and in good shape. I love the dry sauna, and the steam room is probably the best one I've ever used as long as it's working.

The facilities will meet your basic needs as far as fitness. Never took a class, so I can’t speak to that. The locker rooms needed better attention when we were there. We would never recommend vasa to a friend because they continued to charge us for three months after we cancelled our membership (this adds up to $90 in unauthorized charges for us). They gave us a phone number to call to fix the issue, we were then told by that number that they needed an email sent from the vasa location to corporate to fix the issue. When we went back to the vasa to get them to send that email, they instead gave us another number to call.Edited: after posting this review, a VASA representative did call us to resolve the issue. She gave us a partial refund and explained that the reason we ran into this issue was because the staff are not always up to date on how membership fees are charged. Advice if you want to avoid this issue: 1) if you have more than one person on your membership account VERIFY that they are cancelling all memberships 2) put your cancellation in writing via an email or card…they say you don’t need it, but for us it would have been useful. I added two stars to my review.

Most corporate gyms are all the same. It’s not bad at all for the price, but I don’t think it’s good either. Equipment gets overused and run down pretty quick. But for $10 a month? Can’t complain TOO much
