Gym is okay, the women’s area is really nice. DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT buy the little personal training by UBF. Its a SCAM! They lock you into a contract and do not have enough trainers to train you!! They literally deduct money from your account without even training you and then you are not able to cancel. Terrible experience but Ive learned my lesson.

I have memberships at over 3 gyms. I can tell you that the staff here is by far the rudest and the most unprofessional. Starting at the top with Curtis who is like the 5th manager they've had. Just as the other post say He was very rude and very angry, I guess its his revenue numbers. He took the side of his employee that was rude and he wasn't present for the beginning of the conversation where his subordinate was being unprofessional. As soon as I walked off another member comes up to me asked if the front desk guy had been rude to me because he was also rude to her. I can see why they have 2.9 rating.Save your money use 24 Hour Fitness or LA Fitness. Besides, outside the DFW area your membership is worthless, it can't be used in other cities.

I’ve been going to this gym for a few year. It is a large facility and usually pretty clean. I like that they have a women’s only workout area. I do NOT go there because of the staff/costumer service though. I go there because I got a nice deal and it’s what I can afford on a college budget. A while back, if you gave them 5 of your friend’s name and number you received some sort of insentive. While running that promotion, my boyfriend went into the bathroom and got harassed by a staff member. He demanded that he give him the last 5 people’s number that he texted. Obviously my boyfriend refused. Another time my dad was trying to sign up while running a special on a discounted enrollment fee. When he tried to sign up, they said all of the salesmen left for the day, but could come back and do it the next day. When he came back, they did not honor their word and blamed it on the staff member’s ignorance of the specials policy. Whenever they ask if anyone I know wants to sign up, I just laugh. I wouldn’t really recommend this gym to my friends. It’s really embarrassing how the staff acts.

This place is great but unfortunately due to some reasons I’m out of a job and can’t afford the training. I want to keep the membership but can’t afford the stupid training! They won’t let me cancel unless I buyout the contract. I can somewhat understand the membership but even for the training?! Everything is contracted there. For the last month I haven’t been able to go since the trainers there can’t fit me into their schedule based off of mine. This is just ridiculous. It’s so easy to get in but god forbid you need to cancel. If I can I would get out of this and never go back. Biggest regret is signing up for this place now.

Corporate office will not answer the phone. They state they will mail a copy of contract and will not send. Multiple un-answered phone calls lead to delays in canceling membership and getting additional information. To cancel, you must mail written request to corporate office, again, that will not communicate with you. Local gym just shrugs their shoulders ( they don’t write the policies and have the same phone number the public has). This is the short polite version of the story.... Don’t recommend joining unless you have legal counsel already in place and are ready for a fight.

I registered for their five day free pass and was going to go with my cousin who already has a membership. I got a call at 8pm from a very nice representative who asked me when I wanted to come in and he said he would show me around. I told him 8:30. To be frank, I just needed somewhere to workout for the week and had no intention of signing up. However, I wasn't going to stop him from doing his job. I get there at 8:20, email with the pass in hand and he tells me that guest hours are only from 8am-8pm. He knew when I was coming and didn't tell me this over the phone, which was definitely no mistake. He then went on to tell me about monthly plans and tried to sell me on stuff. Later we found out online that guest hours are from 8am-10pm. That was my experience and reading these other reviews I see other people had similar ones. It's a shame, you can sell without lying and scheming. If this is a representation of their gym community, I would not advise joining. There are plenty of other gyms in the area who don't pull the slimy shenanigans. I miss Lewisville's World Gym, RIP.

I just joined the Lewisville club yesterday & I called to set up a time to have someone show me how to work the machines. And was told that basically since I’m not doing the fitness assessment they can’t help. I said you can’t help show me? He started stuttering and said well if we have time and are free to show u we will! I said let me talk to your manager. Manager Curtis got on phone he is very rude and unprofessional. And he told me that the instructions are all on each of the machines that explains it. I said if done wrong can get seriously injured. He acted like no biggy. I asked him how I cancel he said I have to send in a letter with a 30 day notice and I told him I literally just joined 18 hours ago online. He said that’s the rules!!!So I have a email put in to corporate. And there has to be a way to get out of the contract within so many days with out sending a 30 day notice. If not I will call bank and get a new CC issued and stop payment!I read all the reviews and their was more bad reviews then their was good. But I was giving them the benefit of the doubt. I was debating between them or planet fitness. Honestly I wish I would of done planet fitness!!!!! So y’all pay attention to the reviews. And run as fast as you can!!!! The only reason they got a 1 star is cause it was only way I can do a review.

I would give this place a zero. They promised to take $10 out to reserve a deal while I compared gyms. They said all I had to do is call in to cancel with in 72 hours and I would get refunded. I called within the first 24 hour to cancel I was assured that my account was canceled. A week later I noticed on my account $47 got taken out from them. I called and they said I had to send in a letter to cancel. This was never said upon signing agreeing to only the $10. So I did this and then now they they are taking $87 out of my account. Now they tell me that it will be 30 days until my account can get cancelled. This is white collar theft. They are liars and cheats. Not to mention 24 hour and Lifetime gym is better. Dont believe their lies or you will end up in the position I am in.

I was lied to by my sales rep and the general manager saying that there was not a free trial pass. I was pressured into a membership regardless of giving the gym a try. Later after getting my membership I found online that there was a free 5 day trail. The gym is nice but their sales reps are SHADY and LIE to win business which is terrible business practice. I didn’t think I’d have to look online to learn something their employees should have known regardless. They provided no information about the annual membership fee until AFTER I already signed my membership. The sales rep told me that he makes no commission but that has to be a lie. I’m incredibly disappointed in this company and how they operate their terrible business structure.

*Good luck trying to cancel*Nice gym but it's really difficult and complicated to cancel membership. They pressure you into getting one of there expensive trainers. I signed up for the gym and told them that I was going to be moving in six months for school and they assured me that it would be no problem at all to cancel, then whenever the time to cancel came they said I had to write a letter and sent it somewhere, then even after I sent the letter, I was still getting money taken out of my bank account!! I've called them multiple times and they said they would get back to me, but they never did. Do you self a favor and sign up somewhere because they are just after your money! Definelty discouraged me from ever joining any gym again.
