Fitness Connection

This is a revised review. Prior to leaving this gym I really started noticing how neglected so many things were at the gym from general cleaning to machines perpetually not being fixed to free weights having issues and the like. The personnel working there were friendly but the facility itself is really looking run down in a lot of ways.

Read every word before you signed with this gym. They charged me more than $2500 for personal training which I never use. Very careful with this gym and staff.

Been here for a couple years and since the hours changed its been lackluster and barely worth the $10 or $20. Staff are friendly though. Closing at 8 on a Friday is a great way to lose clients. Moving my membership elsewhere now.

Lots of bad reviews about the club's overall hours, so I won't speak more on that, but today we got a notification about them cutting the Kids Club hours as well. Mon-Thu 4pm-8pm and Sat 9am-1pm. They say that this is a commitment to best serving their members by cutting it down to "peak hours," but in reality it's just making it more difficult for everyone, even those without kids.1) the gym is already crowded from 4pm-8pm, so now you're going to cram even more people in there and have people waiting around for equipment.2) peak usage 4pm-8pm for kids is going to change during breaks from school and especially during the summer.3) and now, we'll have this nice, large, and well-equipped Kids center sitting dark and unused for 80% of the time.Hours-wise, this is cutting 4 hours per weekday, for a grand total savings of 20 wage hours per week. Makes absolutely no sense.The good part of this gym? Friendly staff and plenty of equipment (I visit in the late morning).

This is a pretty decent Fitness connection, I’m glad they have an area for Olympic weightlifting, any gym that’s clean and has that is an automatic four stars!Update: gave 2 stars how aren’t you open on a Sunday when mostly everyone is off and would like to get a workout in I don’t understand that 1.

Random closures, no updates Facebook, can’t sign into app and phone VM not updated. FC please notify customers as this had been multiple poor customer experiences. When are you open again?

THIS LOCATION NEEDS A GUT & REMODEL. Reeks of mold & OMG THE WATERBUGS!! I SAW SO MANY in the locker room. I like to use the floor for workouts. But NO, please update this facility. It’s closest to me but I drive to Denton because it’s new & updated. SHAME!

I like the gym but why am I paying the same price for cut hours and closed sundays when it used to be 24 hours? They claim it’s because of covid but don’t require masks or sanitization. Just seems like an excuse to me and doesn’t make sense. These hours have been the same for way too long.

Fitness connection refuses to extend hours ... lookin for another gym with hours that allow the average workin person time to workout.. closing at 8pm on a Friday night.7 am in Saturday. Sunday:( not good fitness connection...not good.

I realize that perhaps being closed during the middle of the night could affect the health and wellbeing of your staff, but how can your company possible justify being closed on Sunday? Being cheap under the guise of concern its ridiculous. My family was promised a 24/7 hour gym membership for what we pay. We are being cheated by 32.2%.
