One of the nicer facilities. The best so far has been the one in Santa Clara

You only get a pass for 1 day and have to be a resident of the area? I am but that’s ridiculous. This place needs to get there business together. I read a bunch of reviews before I signed up for a three day pass in my car out front - what a joke! Your content creators are failing with false advertising and your staff needs training.

I am a new member and I am not happy with the facility. They play annoying music. I go to the gym to workout, relax and clear my mind, forcing me to hear annoying music stresses me out. They shouldn't have any music at all. Also they should post signs on the equipment limiting the time of use and "NO TEXTING WHILE USING THE EQUIPMMENT"! people are very inconsiderate, they sit on the equipment for long periods of time texting!

Went to this gym for almost a 2 years consistently. After neck injury half a year ago i decide to cancel my renewed membership, because in 6 month i have visited a club for 5 time maybe.Came today to cancel my 1 year membership that i was charged a week ago and got attitude from Latina girl, felt like she personally has to give me my 300& back. And was told that i have used my membership 2 time in July. Even though i asked refund from August and didn’t say anything about old membership.Anyways, had very bad experience. Dissapointed.Lauren was always nice

Rude staff and poorly maintained equipmentTommy the general manager hung up on me mid sentence on the phone while we were trying to sort through membership issues. When I called him back he literally scoffed at me.Gym is also always packed and the equipment is very poorly maintained. One time I saw one of the cable machines malfunction while in use and the person using it got hit in the head. He started bleeding and an paramedics had to come. If the staff maintained and inspected the equipment this accident could have been avoided.Definitely going to escalate to corporateEdit: turns out the cable machine issue is a repeat offense. Another review stated it happened to them in July. I’m reference an instance even before that as well this year. This means that this happened once and they allowed it to happen again

Gym is great with good equipment. The members have no workout etiquette, especially at the squat racks. Sitting down with their face planted into their smartphones between sets. Recording themselves and looking at the mirror 80% vs using the squat racks. No regard at all for other members waiting to actually workout. Not sure if that's the culture of self gratification in the area or something else. Absolutely no situational awareness of others and super narcissistic. πŸ€¦πŸ½β€β™‚οΈπŸ€·πŸ½β€β™‚οΈπŸ‘ŽπŸΎπŸ‘ŽπŸΎπŸ‘ŽπŸΎπŸ‘ŽπŸΎπŸ‘ŽπŸΎ

I've been going to this 24 Hr Fitness for ~ 1 year. This is my review. This is the worst gym I've ever experienced.Pros:1. It's cheap. You'll be hard pressed to find a real gym this cheap anywhere else. Planet Fitness is not a real gym.2. Reasonably well equipped- has the most common cardio and resistance training equipment, 6 racks with bumper plates, a small lap pool.3. Cardio area is pretty large. It will fill up during peak times.Cons:1. The gym gets so crowded that it's not safe to lift. I've had people lean on a loaded barbell i was about to unrack, drop heavy dumbbells and have them bounce into me, had people bump into weights mid lift. It's reckless when it's crowded. Staff do not have a presence.2. People that go here lack gym etiquette... do not rerack weights, loiter in groups doing nothing, do not respect the space of others. It's a nightmare.3. The free weight area is a disaster. A combination of poorly laid out free weight area, lack of adequate duplicates of small weights, and poor gym etiquette = free weights being constantly lost, mismatched, and out of order. You'll have 105s next to the 15s on the far end of the area, a single 55 racked next to the 70s, 22.5s and 27.5s next to 80s etc. You gotta build an extra 5 mins into your lifting session to do your laps....laps to find all the lost dumbbells.3. The benches in the free weight area are trash. They have non-adjustable flat benches and these terrible L benches that only go from 45 to 90. The seat isn't adjustable so at 45 incline the seat is also at a 45 degree incline into your crouch. Not comfortable to use, makes it more difficult to kick weights up, and increases chance of injury. Why not just get all fully adjustable benches? flat to 90? Why!4. They have like 30 plate loaded machines + benches so all the plate weights are spread out across the whole area. Only 1 plate tree in the whole joint. Generally lack smaller plates 5, 10s are hard to come by.Worse gym I've ever used. 0/10. I'm leaving to pay for a real gym where I don't have to fear some idiot is going to cause me to tear a rotator cuff.
