This place is horrible. Not only does it take months to fix one machine. There are countless machines broken and old. No ventilation upstairs. The trainers aren’t professionals or friendly. The scales are rigged to make it look as if people are losing weight. This admission comes directly from staff. I got so fed up that I now go to the midtown gyms with iron weights and machines that aren’t old. The men stare at the woman as if they are meat. I cannot get dress or undress without countless men standing naked talking. Horrible!

Have never been to a gym where there have been more broken/out of service machines. This has been a running problem since 2017. Management non-existent at this club.

So I started this membership when I first moved to the area in January because it was the most convenient option in the local neighborhood. Upon starting, I noticed multiple machines didn't work, but I decided to give the employees enough time to fix the equipment and it never happened. There are approximately 13 treadmills and at todays current date (03/6/2018) there are only 7 of those that are functioning properly. Recently I had a machine suddenly stop while running at 10.5mph which is absolutely terrible for your knees and poses a huge safety concern. The weights are absolutely NEVER organized and good luck trying to find any space to work out the majority of the time. This is by far the worst gym I have ever been a member of, and needless to say my membership has been cancelled. If I can offer one piece of advise... I did not take these reviews seriously before I signed up for my membership. But, please do yourself the favor and listen to the reviews. You can find a MUCH MUCH better gym than this. Finally, it's so sad that when I walked up to the front desk to cancel my membership... no questions were asked... they clicked a few things on the computer and told me my last day. Horrible customer service, horrible gym. Attached you will find pictures of the gyms most recent status (03/06/2018).

It is mostly clean most of the time. Although, the weights are never racked or where you want them to be. No steam room and only three showers in men's locker room. When machines are broken, they are broken for a very long time. Staff is nice, they keep out of your way - which is nice. They always greet with a smile and say good-bye.

if your ever planning to join this gym, then in all honest yes the money is worth spending but BE warned when canceling and every other bullshit charged they give you. i cancled this gym membership since January. I am still being billed more money through there bullshit annual charges and there long waiting period to actually be taken off the system. a 30 day waiting period to be canceled off the gym membership and its been 60 days still being charged. Do NOT come here if you wish to keep being billed and not being able to even access the gym during the canceling period.I dont blame the staff, i blame the company that has all these loop holes to keep charging people money.

Where do I begin? Do you enjoy blood and feces stained towels? Broken equipment that remains broken for weeks at a time? Missing clips and locks for the ENTIRE gym? Rude employees? Then this is the place for you. Not only is all of the above 100% true, but when I went to cancel my membership on the 30th of the month, JOSH LEVY waited until the 4th to cancel my account, charging me an additional $50 which he refuses to refund me. I would never recommend this gym to anyone with self respect. There are countless better deals in this city.

This location is an absolute mess, literally. Apparently the dumbell rack is just a loose suggestion as to where people should return their weights. Most members just drop them right on the floor. In the unlikely event that the dumbells are racked, they are definitely in the wrong location so please look forward to adding about 10-15minutes of search time to your workout. Next you will find that I out of 3 Nautilus machines are missing their weight pin. After that you can clearly see the continued disorganization on the crooked and straight bar fixed weight rack. A quarter of the bars are simply missing altogether. They are nowhere to be found either upstairs or downstairs. Not once have I ever seen a member of the staff tidying up. The most likely places to find staff members are seated and commiserating with other employees in the members lounge area, (which I thought was dedicated to paying customers), aimlessly walking the floor on their way to the staff locker room, huddled around a computer dedicated to the sales force or working out (even at a high volume time when space is precious). I'm not sure who manages this location, but if I had to guess I'd say no one. There is zero leadership, vision or oversight.

I have been going to this gym for a few years now. It's the only gym near my house. I have some nice days, but overall, this place is a real mess. Most if the equipment is broken or missing. The staff doesn't seem to care about cleaning or replenishing any of the paper products until the end of the day when they've been empty for hours. The towels are gritty and old. The staff also doesn't share policies with each other. My new membership level doesn't include towels. Often, I'm given one anyway which I'm grateful for. When I'm not given a towel and request one, I am scolded as if I'm the one not following the rules...These are all daily occurrences. In addition, although I signed up for the $20/month membership, I am charged a $40 fee every few months. When I asked about this, believing it was a mistake, they said it was a fee to keep my membership rate low. What?? What is that?? Why wasn't I told about this when I paid the initiation fee which was already astronomical. Why wasn't it figured in?If possible, stear clear of this place. If you feel like you can make it work, just be warned. I really want this place to be great. I stick with it but I'm getting to the.point where it's not an inspiring place to workout. I may need to get used to going near where I work.

A year ago, this gym was awesome maybe because it was new. Since then, the gym has gone downhill. They are now offering 19.99 a month memberships. There has not been any hot water in days. Now there is a whole new ticket system if I want to take any classes. This would probably never happen in a NYSC in Manhattan. The staff at the front desk is very nice. I called prior to walking into the gym to ask if the hot water situation has been corrected. Staff member said yes it was. After my workout I went to shower and there was no hot water. There should be signs all over the place saying so if this is the situation. The location of this gym is very convenient for me. I do not want to cancel my membership. I just want all the services I'm paying for.

This gym is right by my house and super convenient for me. It's very clean and the people at the gym are very nice. The best time to go to the gym, I found, is in the morning. I think that they should have more treadmills and more equipment that caters more to women. But overall the gym is alright if you want to have a quick cardio workout.
