Best deal for a gym around me, and it has parking which is a big plus but I am not pleased at ALL with how they are handling covid. They are only open until 8pm during the pandemic, which leaves no time for me (or other full-time workers) to make it to the gym. This also makes it EXTRA crowded in the evenings (during a pandemic!!). They just take your temp upon entry with one of those forehead thermometers, and that is not enough of a precaution if you are going to allow the gym to be as crowded as it is (that just takes the temp of your skin AND not everyone with covid even gets a fever!). Please please keep the gym open later so that it is less crowded during rush hour or so that I can go in the evenings when it is less crowded! Pretty good gym otherwise.

Just start my subscription and Im not happy with the amount of people - Too crowded!Good: Must have a mask, bfew questions at the reception and fever measure.

They will make it nearly impossible to cancel and will go back on their promises. If you have a membership, make sure you get a cancellation number. Since they got busted with their COVID scandal, their parent company filed for bankrupcy and don't have a way to get in touch with them to cancel your membership. It took cancelling my debit card, submitting a report with my bank, and submitting a claim to the Better Business Bureau to make any progress. Aside from that, BSC does not maintain their locations, they smell horrendous, their staff doesn't seem to care, and they charge too much. There are much better places to go. BSC is a plague in of itself.

If you want to enroll this gym , I think you better considering my experiences. I’ve been an active member of this gym for over 9 months , and not very satisfied with it. I actively do kickboxing , lifting. Pretty much I use a lot of equipments in the gym.Pros and cons :—good location , convenient price ( at least it seems like that ) , many equipments( only when there are not many people )—- It is a basically gym and as we work out inside , we need to consume enough water. It’s my second time forgetting to bring water with me and they do not even have/ sell a bottled water. I had to rush and only had one hour of working out , but because of them not having the bottled water ( they have a machine for it tho) I had to spend some time to get a water. Not a place open up nearby to get water. It’s my second time telling them about the situation but they do not take an action for it.( The first one was weeks ago)They have enough equipment only for limited people to work out inside. There are some hours in the gym full of people and it is impossible to work out properly. I gave my opinions but it is so obvious that it just took forever them to take an action. I decide to end my membership with them.Thank you for James , in the Allston location ,to listen to me and help my problems but as I have said , those are everyone’s problem in the gym and we ,as members, wanted an action. There is nothing makes sense if I am not even be able to buy a water inside.There are much to say , I had been happy with the gym and everything , but it’s obivous that this place is not the right place for me anymore.

I paid my cancellation fee and waited 45 days for my account to be closed but charged me the monthly fee after it has been canceled.

They are renovating right now but the gym is nice. It is a bit small so just be able to work out with a crowd.

The ground has curvatures which makes certain lifts possibly dangerous. be careful of their cancellation policy. Over all, not bad.

I went to the Allston BSC once and had a very bad experience with the staff working there at that time. They were not informed, not willing to help and barely responded when I asked questions. I did not feel welcome and valued as a first-time visitor.This location is not the best of BSC as I'm hearing from people who have had experience at other locations.

Solid club, sooooo crowed at peak times though. Must be due to pretty reasonable rate (40ish) if you only sign up for this club.We broke up due to them not making a billing issue right on their end, make sure you get any changes to your membership in writing.
