Honestly I like this gym, usually I wouldn't complain too hard especially with a company I like. But - there's a few things I really haven't been happy with lately and it seems like there wouldn't be any efforts made for correction if I left anything other than a one or two star review. The hours are the biggest complaint for me. I realize covid is very much a problem, but I'm confused by the way this VASA has responded. The hours have been cut back - what was originally a 24 hour gym is now closing every night and early on Sundays. But I feel like the cleaning supplies run out frequently, automatic doors have been removed - which feels counterintuitive, the bathrooms can be pretty bad at times. If the priority has been slowing the spread of covid, why does it feel like the hours getting cut was just taking advantage of the pandemic to drop the 24 hour status? Isn't planet fitness open 24 hours? Even if it's adjusting membership prices to account for cutting back on hours of availability, that would feel better. The employees are usually friendly, the location is great, and aside from a few broken machines which seem to always be down, I do enjoy this gym! If there can be some communication of timeframes and when we can see that coming back you can bet I'll come leave a more positive review. I would just like the value of a membership with VASA to come back!

I canceled Planet Fitness right before joining Vasa and I am so much happier here. My trainer Sarah is wonderful. I actually look forward to going to the gym now and I’m starting to see better results in my health. Vasa offers so much for a great price in my opinion. London who does the Cycle class is wonderful. I also want to say, each staff member is wonderful and always makes us feel welcomed.

I enjoy the equipment and the atmosphere. It is, however, a competitive gym. So, women will most likely come in a full face of makeup and their hair done. And you'll be able to smell the tanning lotion in the air 🤣.It is a clean gym though. Cleaning after the use of equipment is important to me. Luckily, there is a great sense of "gym-edicate," in that area.I recommend this gym, because it builds a sense of comrade. The 'regulars' will notice you and it gives you a sense of belonging.

We joined this gym because it was cheap and had all the equipment we wanted, but we soon realized it was a mistake to sign up here for several reasons. The treadmills always had gum or tissue in the cup holders. The bathrooms were always disgusting and I dreaded whenever I had to use one. They would randomly take padding off of equipment without leaving any signs. There would be blood on the base of the squat racks. Their free weights were always a mess. They had a ton of employees standing around talking to each other, would have been nice if some of them could have addressed these issues. They have a very convenient system for getting into the gym, but they even managed to ruin that. Even though you should just be able to scan your phone and go, they insist on holding the scanner themselves so we would often wait in line for an employee to get off the phone or stop talking to each other and sign me in. My husband were finally able to cancel after waiting the 6 months to avoid the fee. This took forever and the front desk employees were no help. We finally figured it out and realized it was so difficult because both of our birthdays were entered in incorrectly by one day. The fact that both were this way makes me wonder if they didn't do it on purpose to make it more difficult to cancel. Either way we are relieved to be done with this gym and would not recommend it to anyone.

I have been going to this VASA for several years. The new renovations they are making have helped improve the look of the gym and also my personal work out routine.I have four kids who LOVE going to the kids care! Beth and Rachel are so great to work with and they make things fun for my kids. They do activities and crafts everyday. My favorite is the kids yoga time!I do team training four days a week and it has changed me. Paul and Gina have improved the efficacy of my workouts as well as my form. People of different fitness levels attend the classes and the trainers tailor the exercises to fit every need. When I was pregnant they helpto make sure I didn’t hurt myself and made adjustments when I needed to. If I was injured they helped work through my issues and not hurt myself more. The group-x classes are hard! And the variety is so great. I love high fitness, pump and cycle the most.I had to visit the corporate office a few times for issues with my membership. Kylie and Jalayne are wonderful! Quick to help get my families membership in order and very friendly.

Got me all sweaty and junk Which is a good thing. I could stand to lose a few pounds. Especially around the love handle areas. And probably lay off the sweets a bit. All and all not a bad place to work out. Beware tho in evening it gets packed. Come during lunch hour. Much better time to come and to workout all the equipment seemed to be in working order and the sauna was the best part. Sweat out all the toxins in my body. Making dad bods great again. Thanks VASAFitness

I've been going to this gym for a couple of years now and it's okay. They've made a couple changes that I'm not a fan of. Namely taking out a racquetball court for another personal training area. Because the one in the middle of the gym isn't enough and then forcing people who use the guest pass to sign in again and again and again. My wife has signed the guest pass hundreds of times and it would be nice if she didn't have to do it every single time.

I've been happy with this VASA location. The equipment is well taken care of and it has basically anything you could want, and they've tried hard to add equipment that people might want. If you go at peak hours it's a madhouse, and you will probably end up waiting for whatever equipment you want, but if you can avoid peak hours then it's a great place. This location keeps pretty clean (as much as is possible) and any disorganization is probably due to people with bad gym etiquette.Yeah, corporate can kind of pull some tricks on you if you're not careful, it happened to me and I went to the other Orem location and they fixed it for me with no trouble, and no extra charges or anything. But it was mostly due to a miscommunication, and not too big of a deal. And honestly the price you get from VASA is pretty darn good (even though you'll hear others rip on it, they probably haven't looked at gym prices elsewhere.)I'd probably trust about 1/5 personal trainers there, based off of what I've seen. You would probably do just as well going with a friend who has a little experience. This VASA really is a great location with a variety of equipment and options (racquetball courts, basketball courts, a pool, grass area...) with pretty good customer service at the front desk and a variety of people who exercise there. I've never felt judged in a negative way and you'll see all kinds of people working out here from beginners to ridiculously muscular people.

Never had any issues with this gym. The equipment usually works, things are fixed pretty fast. The people are nice, machines are organized, there are plenty of free weights. The personal trainers are fantastic, sauna, steam room, and pool are great. I love the new turf area. I've been going here for nearly a year now and I always enjoy myself.
