VASA Fitness

This gym is very large and has a lot of equipment of each variety. It is fairly clean on the gym floor and there are nice pool, hot tub, steam room and sauna facilities. The improvements they could make are repairing broken equipment with more urgency. The men's restroom is always filthy and foul smelling.

The only issue I have with this Vasa is the cleaniness... the pool could really use a good cleaning. The walls and floor of the pool are very dirty and the same bandaid has been in the same place for 2 weeks now... the floors in the locker room are really gross too. Other than the cleanliness I actually really love this Vasa. The classes are great and all of the equipment is awesome and there's plenty to go around even during really busy hours.

This gym is always clean and we’re always greeted with smiles when we visit but it’s just TOO BUSY. No matter what time of day you go, you always have to wait for machines or free weights. It’s a good price and a good gym, just not worth how busy it is.

The Orem location is way overcrowded. Constantly have to wait in line to use anything. The equipment is nice and in good shape but the bathroom/ locker room consistently look and smell like it hasn't been cleaned in days.My wife and I both got memberships here and I'm already regretting not having bought one for the local rec center when they were on sale.

Mens bathroom is absolutely disgusting, smells like someone took a dump in the air vents and they’ve let it roast over a year. The staff is 100% apathetic towards customers and the gym is 24/7 completely packed. They don’t make any effort to limit capacity, and lot of their equipment is out of service. I signed my wife up, she came only a few times for the classes because every other time we arrived, the equipment was nearly impossible to use due to wait times. Cancelling after two months because it’s virtually unusable, and they slap you with your next monthly fee, a cancellation fee, after having just barely received the yearly fee to “lOcK iN YoUr RaTe”. You can email them about it and they just give you the typical “well, you knew about it when you signed up” corporate BS. Save your money and go anywhere else but here.Edit: They said someone would reach out. They didn’t

Please don’t start a gym membership here. I was waiting for them to take my money for the yearly payment plus the monthly payment which was around 60$ then suddenly I have to pay 92$.I checked and because for some reason they didn’t take the payment they charged me a 25$ fee. After reading reviews about hidden fees I decided to cancel and had to pay a whopping 105$. In this charge they took one monthly payment of 25$ even thought I signed up for the 10$ a month. They lie and do not disclose any of the hidden fees. Choose somewhere else please.

I really enjoy Vasa. They have the equipment I need, plenty of weights and the classes are fun (especially cycling with Sabine)I enjoy the cardio cinema room mostly for the privacy and the gym is clean which is a bonus.The staff and other members there feel like family.I worked with a trainer Averie and she helped me get started back into a healthy lifestyle and gave me the direction I needed to get back in shape.

I always thought Vasa was great during the 2 years spent in Utah, the only issue was how packed and unorganized it can be. Unfortunately I have been trying to cancel my membership since April 2021, but I still see a $28 charge on my card every month. I have called multiple times and seen no change, as well as sent a message to the help desk through the website, but never heard back. I have attempted to cancel through my account online but I cannot gain access even after using the "forgot password" option. I moved out of Utah in May and have paid nearly $260 in membership fees since I began trying to cancel 8 months ago.

I didn't appreciate the extra fees that I was charged. I was charged the monthly payment after I cancelled. There are also yearly fees that I think are not necessary. The gym itself is nice and good service I just wish it was more affordable and there wasn't surprise fees or you would be charged extra if you cancel your membership before 6 months.

I really enjoy going to this gym. I've been to some others and this one just has a different vibe to it. The group classes are fun and they have plenty of equipment and space to get everything done that you need to. My only issue is that they don't have hand sanitizer anywhere. They have plenty of wipes for equipment which is great, but I think it would up the cleanliness factor if we could get some access to hand sanitizer.
