The staff is way nicer and better than EoS fitness or any other gyms. And they actually care about the customers.

Vasa has the worst customer service in all of the gyms in Utah. My bank account was compromised, therefore the bank needed to investigate. While they investigated I was sent a new card during my gyms billing cycle. Instead of waiving my Vasa late fee the representative said and I quote verbatim "per the agreement signed by gym account holder late fees will be assessed no matter the circumstances " I then asked even if I provided proof by the bank.. and she stated yes that still applies! But when there are machines that are broken down and not fixed in a timely matter how is the gym patron reimbursed or appeased! I will be canceling my membership after 15 years

Never ever sign up for their personal training program. They smack you with hidden aspects of contracts you didn't agree to and have terrible terms, and canceling is extremely expensive and very difficult to do. An absolutely blatant Attempt to rob and screw over their clients. All that aside, their "cheap monthly fee" is completely overshadowed by a bogus $50-$80 "yearly fee" for no reason at all other than to fill their greedy pockets.

Just trying to take your moneyThey act like it will only be a monthly fee of 10 dollars but then after 60days they randomly charge you an extra 50 dollars and then if you try and cancel before 6months that will cost you an extra 25 dollars just to make sure you pay over 100$ in the first 6 months. It is all just very shady business trying to get as much money from you as they can. Also interesting note every time someone brings this up they are like yes we are trying to be more transparent and we will see to this. The funny thing is nothing has changed in the past like 6 months. I love the false face of care that they have.

Frontline staff and Manager are great but the cleanliness of the bldg especially the male bathroom has a lot to be desired for. Its horrible. They need new restrooms repairs badly and most definitely a better cleaning crew...

Typical unethical gym. We had to stop using their services due to COVID illness and emergency surgery. Now they are demanding $1,500 of free money. We didn’t use $1,500 worth of services. My family cancelled, my son’ trainer took a break, and we moved on. So there was nothing rendered. How does this work exactly? They sick a collections agency on us, demanding all this money, and then what? Just a windfall of free money? Contracts require an exchange of services and payment. You can’t just demand money without something given. If we had consumed a service or consumed a product, that’s a thing. But demanding a payment for a service we couldn’t use and didn’t use is unethical. Phone companies could pull this off back in the day because they paid for part of your cellphone. So you had to cancel the contract and essentially pay for the rest of the phone. Here, there is nothing exchanged. This is disgusting, and they should be ashamed of themselves. I put in a complaint with the BBB and will find other agencies to help. Avoid this financial slavery at all cost.EDIT: The owner is asking for stuff and I have no clue how to do that here. I don't have an option to respond. We have repeatedly sent in requests for help at their support E-Mail. Last one was June 19th, Request #: 1354368, and yet no response. I don't even know what a barcode number is, but we don't even have access to those accounts as they were closed by us legitimately. Yet still demanding $1500 through a collection agency. Fun times!

I went to sign up for the 24.99 a month plan on location... but then at the end of the signup process I was presented with a non optional, additional, bogus (YEARLY!) "Rate Guarantee Fee" of 49.99. So I am actually paying 29.16 a month. I am disappointed to see that Vasa Fitness still cannot be honest with its pricing.Just be up front with your customers about the price you are asking for and you won't guarantee yourself an unhappy customer from the beginning of the relationship (if you manage to make them a customer at all) Stop your anti-consumer behavior.

Today, I came in for a one hour workout. Starting 30 minutes before close, about every 5-10 minutes, a female employee would go around blaring an extremely loud alarm. (See picture) This was one of the loudest alarms I've ever heard. The first time, I thought it was a fire alarm, because it was so loud. Each time she would hold it down and walk around the entire gym for minutes at a time.I am autistic and extremely sensitive to sound. Visibly upset, I asked her to turn it off after she had already been blaring it for 1-2 minutes for about the fourth time. When I asked her, she proceeded to stop walking in front of me, stared directly at me, and blared the alarm for about 20 more seconds. The only reason she stopped is because another guy got into a verbal altercation with her that was also next to us. She only stopped the alarm to argue with him...Finally, a male employee came and took the alarm from her after about a minute to deescalate the situation. She eventually just rolled her eyes and walked away. Neither employee appeared to apologize to the other guy either. To be honest, I didn't hear the conversation between them, but the other guy working out seemed upset the entire conversation. This caused half of my workout to be a distressing and anxiety filled experience. I left before the gym closed to be respectful, but 40 minutes later my nervous system is still very distressed from the extra stimulation.Sure, warn people time is about out for a couple seconds, 5-10 minutes before close, but this was completely unprofessional. I watched multiple other people visibly upset by this that didn't say anything. I've been coming here for over a year, and this isn't my first bad experience at this location. I already go to other locations occasionally with better experiences, so I will most likely downgrade my membership, and just switch to the other location permanently.I don't know if this is company policy, or rogue employees, but it demonstrated a blatant disregard for a peaceful workout for your customers during open hours. And your employee was disrespectful towards me and your other customer.
