This gym has called me and texted me multiple times asking for "Carlos" after me asking multiple times to stop. Then they sent me this text asking for a review so unfortunately it was an easy conduit to leave a negative review.Update: The member services team did reach out like they said they would and apologized for the inconvenience. It was cool to see some good customer service and have them try to correct it.

Probably the most crowded gym with people & super cluttered with unused equipment. Also the dirtiest gym with chewed gum on equipment, dust, & people’s leftover water bottles left on the cardio equipment. The lady vasa room is sub par with mismatched weights & broken equipment. They need to replace the random 4 benches with more smith machines. This gym needs work & needs to heed the saying less is more. 👎🏼

While the gym itself is ok (How hard is it to have gym equipment) the service you get is subpar at best. Even if you sign up for the month to month "no contract/obligation" plan if you only go a few times and then stop going and paying your monthly bill (changing cards) you will still be sent to collections and they will demand that you pay them, what a joke.

This gym is terrible. They have many problems with equipment, and they are missing so many bars and plates that about a quarter of the machines cannot be used because they won’t buy a few more barbells. It has been like this for over a year. It gets so busy that you will spend as much time standing in line as you do working out if you go at the wrong time. It is clear they have enough people coming that no effort to maintain a good gym is needed, and they clearly do not care. Worst gym I’ve ever been with.

The gym itself is typical of a 'corporate-style' setup with plenty of machines and space for you to workout. The locations in Utah (I've been to Orem mostly and South Jordan a time or two) are typically clean and well staffed; however my chief complaint comes not from the facilities themselves, but the corporate office.I'll start by stating that I got a year long membership on Black Friday in 2020 for only about $50. While this was a good deal, I was destined to move out of the state to another state where there is not VASA gym within thousands of miles. So, naturally I cancelled my membership a few months before the pre-paid membership concluded. This is where it gets weird. I called a second time to verify that the membership was cancelled so that I wouldn't get charged, the representative on the phone assured me that it was cancelled, BUT (and I knew this would happen after reading several other reviews) guess what, I was charged. When I called a third time I politely asked if I could be refunded. The representative was polite in return and stated that it was an error on their end and I would be refunded the money as soon as possible. I asked if I could get this in writing via email so that I would have a record of the actions taken on my account. She stated yes and the call was ended.Fast forward a week later. I still haven't been refunded the money and I got a notification that I OWE them money (the same amount that I was allegedly supposed to be refunded). OK, I thought. Maybe they were supposed to refund the money and now it's being transferred something. I'm not an unreasonable guy and I have a basic understanding of wireless transfers between banks; however, my account should not be active, nor should I have a "past-due" balance. Thus, I unfortunately have to call again. After yet another 20-30 minute wait time I talk to a representative, again very pleasant and understanding, my grief is not with them. It is with the fact that I have literally had to go through the fiery rings of the pits of damnation to get this dang thing cancelled! This final time I called, they assured me my refund is coming and that they will cancel the account and past-due balance. Another however (and I feel like I have to say this a lot), they didn't have a supervisor at work when I called to check into why I still have a past-due balance and why it hasn't been cancelled. A nightmare right? The very nice lady said that she would call me back as soon as she got ahold of her supervisor and a solution was found. I pray that this is true because I really don't want to have to waste mine or anyone else's time trying to get my account/name cleared.(I wrote all this while I was on hold btw. which was considerable).TL;DR+2 stars for facilities and polite customer service-1 star for customer service wait time-1 star for shady cancellation practices-1 for frustration and broken promises :'-(Edit: I received a call back from VASA stating that the account had been cleared (reflecting a zero balance) and I should be receiving the refund in the mail. Very quick and reasonable turnaround. I appreciate VASA reaching out and attempting to rectify the situation!

Love the gym, but I love how large Vasa is and the variety it has to offer. I always can find something new for various workouts I do. Now I'm fairly new so I haven't see everything yet, but so far so good. Its a little crowded but thats not their fault.

Should be a 24 hour gym. It was complete & utter bull-rubbish and poppycock to buy out Gold's Gym and then to chop the hours down so significantly, while charging the customer the same rates. Very shameful indeed!! The gym entry doors should also be wheelchair friendly, as they are currently not. Bathrooms need some help. Vasa honestly has the potential to be the best gym around, y'all need to be open 24 hours again, at least in a few key locations. You are losing business over this and are causing the gyms to be severely overly crouded! Bathrooms need some TLC too in regards to sanitation. Onward & upward Vasa, be the best!

Don’t ever sign up for a vasa membership! It seems cheap and great but you get there and all the stuff is “mysteriously” out of order and it’s cram packed with a ton of other people. I loved the price though so I have been a member since November of 2020. I called to cancel it a few months ago and they said it was taken care of. But I just noticed they were still charging me and so I emailed them to make sure it was in writing this time. They told me that since it is now January I will have to pay a fee of 53 dollars for the annual “rate guaranteed fee”, which I know is just a way to steal money from their customers. I asked that since I had called to cancel it before the fee was supposed to be charged if they could wave the fee at least. They said there was nothing they could do about it. So that being said it’s crowded and underkept and on top of that they have hidden fees they’ll make you pay.

Great, friendly staff. The only downside is the place is a zoo most days after 4 or 5 'til close. If you can workout at a time other than that, it's a great gym.

Was treated with respect and did not have any trouble receiving my refund. My one complaint is that it was very difficult to find out how to contact the right person at VASVA. Eventually I used the only chat feature.
