decent gym, bathrooms are kinda gross sometimes but there’s tons of good equipment that never break and the staff are helpful and friendly. I also agree with the others saying another nearby location should open since it can tend to get crowded in the evenings.

Normally smells like a mixture between chlorine and swalls but there’s a ton of machines and the staff is friendly. Normally busier than I’d like, and it works be amazing if Vasa would open up another Orem location to split the traffic between the University and the 1600N location. I understand there are already quite a few locations, but there’s more than enough people demand, and I know lots of people who would go more if it was less packed.

Lauren and the Barre class are amazing! Don't miss her classes! Not only is she fun, she works you out hard.

Always, has hidden fees. The $10 a month plan was cool but They said another $3 it would cost me to lock in that price so they could never change it. And then they slap you with 2 $60 payments the 1st month and the 2nd month and then every year you have to payAnother $120. Plus it is always busy you can never even walk in there and go straight to where you want to work out without having to wait for 2 people to use the machine or the dumb Bells before you can use them. Plus, they need to do a lot better sanitizing the way it's especially with that much traffic going through there.

Came here for four years straight during my time at BYU. I tried 5 different gyms and this was the obvious winner. Friendliest staff, any equipment you’d ever want, and generally a group of people who want to see you succeed.

I’ve been to dozens of gyms and I have never had such a horrendous experience. They gouge you for every penny, signing fee, price lock fee, renewal fee, cancellation fee. My 15$ membership was over a 100$ some months. And all this hassle for the worst gym I’ve ever been to. Equipment is broken and old, lines to use machines over 30 minutes long.Don’t give them your money!

SCAMMERS AND THIEVES! Month-To-Month means something completely different to them. They love their exploitative contracts. Gym isn't even worth it...objectively overpriced. Avoid at all costs...they are shameless in their exploitative business model. Should have canceled during Covid when they should have refunded us all for those shenanigans they pulled with hours and not reducing the cost or anything. AGAIN, AVOID AT ALL COSTS!EDIT 4/28/2023: Owner is trying to reply saying I'm not in the system. What do you want to E-mail me about? I can show up in person if you are really a manager and show you that I have had a gym membership at VASA for years. I think you are just trying to get people to disregard my complaints!EDIT 5/01/2023: VASA has reached out to me and waived the 30 day notice for me and has told me I will not be charged. (we'll see) I do appreciate that. I wasn't trying to waste another 75 bucks so that's better than nothing. But I had to resort to putting this negative review before they did anything. I already had went through customer service correspondence back and forth arguing with someone named Leslie who gave me copy paste template responses. It should have been resolved at that point...not after I expose the truth to the public.

If I could give it 0 Stars I would. This isn't a business. It's a scam. Do not pay them a dime. The cardio machines are always broken. The equipment is all old and broken making everything a safety hazard to use. If you are going to scam us out of our money at least use it to get some decently good equipment. The bathrooms are always gross and out of toilet paper. Be ready to wait in lines about 30 minutes long to use any of the racks or benches. For a $25 monthly membership, I ended up having to pay over $100 in other rate fees, yearly fees, and price lock guarantee fees. To cancel I had to pay over $200! DO NOT SIGN UP HERE!

I come to this location just for my training sessions with my Vasa personal trainer, Haylee Carpenter. The 5 stars in this review is just for her—she is hands down the BEST PT I’ve ever worked with and I’ve tried multiple other trainers/programs at other gyms! I’ve been doing a 1x1 training program with Haylee for almost a year now and I can honestly say that she has changed my life in the most positive and empowering way that I never thought was possible. She’s dedicated so much time to a program that sets realistic and attainable goals for me and taught me so much about fitness and the importance of health. She is truly a life-changing force of nature!! If you’ve ever considered getting started with a trainer, I CANNOT RECOMMEND HER ENOUGH. Vasa makes their training programs very affordable and has a wide variety of options for you to choose from when starting out. Trust me—do yourself a favor and ask if Haylee has any availability for new clients, you will NOT regret it!! :)
