VASA is okay. I feel like for the prices they charge the facilities could be kept up better. The two locations I go to in Provo and Orem are also usually very busy at the times I go. I notice some of the other locations throughout Utah are kept up better. I have just noticed weight racks with bolts missing, bent, or are not secured properly. Also a lot of the attachments for the cable machines are in bad shape specifically the ropes. The staff is always very nice though I don't interact with them much anyway. I am thinking about trying out another gym due to the above reasons but overall VASA is an okay gym at least the locations I frequent but I don't have any other gyms to compare it to really.

I love vasa but this gym is always busy, and many exercise machines are always broken and take a long time to fix! This is the biggest problem!

Always dirty, and they make it impossible to cancel your membership. One year after I've cancelled my membership, I'm still fighting with them to stop any auto billing. Don't go here.

I haven’t been to a vasa yet that takes care of their bathrooms and services things. All of them usually have about five or six showers that are broke a machine that cleans swimsiit always broke And nobody there doing any cleaning in those bathrooms ever. They are absolutely disgusting

I appreciate the upgrades that have taken place. However, with how much the membership costs plus the “rate lock in fee” there should never be broken equipment for more than a couple of days. Seeing equipment missing and things broken for weeks sometimes is unacceptable.

Great place, clean, variety of equipment, and just a good place to work out, nobody looks at you in anyway. Everyone is respectful and all there for a reason or purpose, the workers are respectful and friendly.

Gyms nice but it does get annoying when it closes at 10 instead of 12. Before Covid we had 24hr gyms so it confuses me why they close early. I’ve been working out here for a long time and would love to see it close just a bit later.

VASA is the most dysfunctional gym system I’ve ever encountered. Between all the high school kids working there, collectively 0 understand how their own memberships work. Expect an oversold/crowded gym and random charges. You’re better off paying more for a higher end club/facility.

I discovered a fraudulent charge in my checking account in December 2022. Further research indicated that it was a recurring monthly charge since May from Vasa Fitness. I do not have a gym membership and neither does my husband. It took multiple phone calls to Paramount Acceptance and Vasa Fitness to finally get them to acknowledge the fraud - someone named Daniel Guzman set up the membership online using my checking account information. I got a check refunding the $200.92 that was fraudulently removed from my account, however, no additional compensation for my time and having access to my funds for 7 months.

I signed up for Vasa in Spanish Fork with my work there. After changing jobs, I cancelled my membership. Problem is Vasa didn't cancel it and my account went delinquent. The annoying thing is I didn't receive any notices from them. They sent me to collections and reported it to my Transunion. I discovered it when applying for a mortgage. Instead of fighting the $200-something debt, I paid it immediately. Now a year later it's still reporting on my credit report. I would never sign up again for any kind of membership with the group that owns Vasa. They are incompetent at best. Dishonest more likely.
