Overall great place. Phone use is a problem at most locations. Also it isn't a private gym and some folks linger way too long on some machines.

I like this location a lot, staff is chill, it’s clean, and Planet Fitness is always great for the price, sure it doesn’t have a squat rack but it’s more than enough for the price. It’s close to my house, and I never have had any issues at this gym.

I think it’s very unprofessional to not allow cancellations over the phone. I recently moved over an hour away about a month ago. Called trying to cancel my membership that I’ve had for over a year, and was told to mail a letter or come in to that location. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?? After I was told I could do it over the phone due to Covid. What a joke and a shame this is the hassle you out your customers through just for canceling due to moving. I was going to get another membership near my new home but I’m good!

Worst customer service ever.So I have been a member of Planet Fitness for 10 years now and I used to bring my kids with me to every location as a guest. So today, I came to Parma with my daughter who is 15 years old and she has no ID yet and they ask me for her birth certificate to scan it? I was like what? Is the first time I heard that because I always sign a waiver and they put them on the system. So the girl on the front desk told me if I don’t have the birth certificate she cannot workout today. And I was like what? The club closes on one hour so I didn’t had my workout done either. But the thing is she said that is a “policy” and when I asked her in what part of the policy says that because I want to read the document and se it with my eye and I don’t want to think she was mading that up, she never found it. When I told her that my daughter goes with me to any club and never I was ask to provide that the other one who also works there asked me, to what location you go with her? I mentioned her all the locations and the unprofessional “lady” answered me back, Why you didn’t go to those locations with her today? I was like, I live around here and you know what that is not your problem. No I know I have to explain why I choosed to come to this club today ha? When I asked for their manager name they said they cannot tell me that info because that is “personal information” and they cannot provide that to me. Ok so, I went to the website and in any place says anything about any birth certificate. They say if something happened she is the responsible but NO. Me as a parent I sign a waiver and I’m the only responsible for my daughter. That is what I have done in all the clubs we visited before. I’m so disappointed. your employees need more training on how to treat people and also a customer service training. Because she never showed me that “policy” and the other girl OMG she was the worst. Asking me Are you ok? Because you are starring at her. I was hello yesss I’m waiting for the info that I’m asking for. She was so disrespectful.

Good for beginners or people transitioning back into working out. Most people after like 18 months should be able to move to a more advanced gym. Planet fitness needs free weight bench and squats because the smith machines actually doore damage than good in my opinion. Also that would push them to have a better training staff that can do more diverse fitness programs.

Gym is pretty clean and there’s usually enough equipment however the majority of the staff is rude and unprofessional. If they are not on their personal cellphones ignoring you at the front desk, they are talking to each other about personal issues while members are standing there waiting to be acknowledged. They also pick n choose who they want to in force mask or tanning eye wear policy. Some walk right in w/o either and some are chased down and demanded to show proof of both.

Walked in and signed up for 1$ annual fee and 10$ per month for a membership. They offer locker, shower, and clean toilets. The guys at the desk were helpful and knowledgeable about the gym. They included peak times and hours of operation.Check out the on line for peak times and hours of each gym.

Tanning hours are way off from closing.. Also sent to car 3 times for numerous items to tan, that could have been done in one trip. Also the staff my G/F dealt with was a couple young snotty boys that gave her a hard time about paying for eye stickers for tanning. They won't take cash for .54¢ eye stickers. The place used to be open 24hrs now only open till 10p during the week and close at 7p on the weekends! My girlfriend bought a membership under the pretence they were still open 24hrs and when she said something to them about it, they acted like she should've known.. She now goes to a different location because she said she never seen so many unknwledgeble, disrespectful and just plain rude staff under one roof... Will not return.! Update: 9/14/21- since my last review the staff at this location contacted my g/f and found a way for her to transfer to another location and start a new membership. The rude young staff members that gave her such a hard time have since been let go and they've been replaced by respectable and knowledgeable adults. They are now back to being open 24hrs M-Th and close at 7pm Fri, Sat & Sun. So since my last review this location has really turned things around. Even tho this isn't her home location she still likes to go to this location when it's convenient for her and has had nothing but good things to say about it and will likely return there when it suits her schedule....
