The smell of the place as I walked in was atrocious. As I walked throughout the gym it got even worse. I signed up for tanning bed 4 (lay down) and thought I would at least get a tan. When I walked in the room, it stunk worse. I took my clothes off and tried to hang them on the hook on the wall but they kept falling to the floor because the hook was barely in the wall just kinda dangling there. I got up on the tanning bed and pushed start several times but it would not start. I got up, got dressed and went to speak to the attendant. She restarted the timer and came to the room to see if it would start. I thanked her, closed and locked the door and immediately began to undress again. As I was tanning I noticed over 2 minutes had gone by. After tanning I got dressed, thanked the attendant again and proceeded to the bathrooms. When I walked in it smelled even worse and out of 4 stalls, 2 were marked out-of-order, one had poop in it and the one I used had toilet paper floating in it. I flushed it twice, wiped off the seat, peed and had to flush it 4 times until all the toilet paper was washed away for the next person. When I got home, I noticed my belly was burned, the front of my upper arms were a little red, and no other tan was visible on my body. This was my first tan of the year and I expected a little redness all over. My guess is those tanning bulbs needed changing.Needless to say, after all of that, I won't be going back there again. Today I'm gonna check out the one in Parma off of Day Street and I'll rate/tell you all about my experience there. Brookgate PF needs to clean up their facility. I really wanted to work out but the smell was just too sickening for my taste. Sorry preps at Brookpark PF but I had to share my honest opinion. Plz clean it up and maintain tanning beds cuz I would love to come back.

***WARNING*** ***LONG POST***This facility has been good for the time being (personal rating 4 stars) but with rude, demeaning, inconsiderate and unprofessional managers such as Marc who work at the Brook Park location will make this review into ONE STAR.The community and other employees are super friendly and nice. People at the front desk always greet with a smile and equipment are well kept clean. Their slogan "The Judgment Free Zone" is a true representation of this gym, until I spoke with Marc.As Marc told me their policy states no refunds are made to be given, one employee told me that this agreement is not all necessarily true. I have been trying to contact the manager at this branch for several weeks and when he finally answered I received an unwelcoming attitude.I left my phone number to a few employees and wrote a letter via e-mail and still no response until I had to take actions into my own hands.I was not able to attend the facility for about 19 months, about $400 of free money I have paid to Planet Fitness due to severe injury. Now what type of person will want to keep paying for a membership and not have any purpose for it? They did not let anyone else cancel the contract but the PRIMARY owner. When I finally canceled and spoke with Marc, his reply was that there will no longer be transactions taken out of my account (Ha!).Marc claimed there were many other people who have been in the same situation as me, only that they haven't shown for an even LONGER period of time. I claimed he was bullsh**ing.I will not be writing this post if there was the slightest form of empathy from this MANAGER. If the employee were to say there WILL NOT be a refund from the START I would have accepted the loss of my time away from the gym.

I visit this gym 2 to 3 times a week, mostly during the early A.M. hours. I have noticed the night employees are much different from daytime. I will say there is one young lady always cleaning, I like that 😉.Love the amount of cardio machines, and the level of cleanliness vs last year. The Brookpark PF is top notch and I’m glad it’s my home gym.I do wish there was a better towel service than a roll of brown paper towels. Perhaps some kind of wet wipe?

I see that many members say the staff are friendly. I have not experienced one friendly front desk person yet. I came to reinstate my membership and the attendant acted as if I was inconveniencing her. A smile and eye contact wouldn't hurt. Another time I was leaving and a male attendant made sure he continued to work on the computer so that he didn't have to make eye contact and say goodbye. I will be visiting the Garfield location moving forward. They speak to their guests!!

I'm a big fan of this facility, and I've been going for over a year. The staff is always friendly, and accommodating. It doesn't have all the bells and whistles that the bigger, more expensive gyms have, but for the value of the memberships, it has more than I need to have a good work out.

I'll never come to this club location ever again. I've been here multiple times and each time I've been there, I've dealt with nothing but problems. The staff seems friendly at first but it seems like they honestly don't care about you, ESPECIALLY THE TRAINER. The trainer is just there to look pretty, she doesn't do anything that will benefit you. Avoid getting help from a trainer, she'll refer you to Google like she did me. It also seems to be that the manager is almost never there, and the assistant manager answers the majority of the calls. The staff, again, is horrible and unbearable to work with. I'll never come to this club again. I've contemplated cancelling my membership because of how many problems I've had.

The place is fine for my needs - simple weights and atmosphere that allows me to focus. The only thing I am surprised they don't have is wifi. Very basic, but it adds so much value for the customer. Besides the fact that they lack that specific amenity, they are a 5 star facility.

My girlfriend and I purchased the black card package with tanning. They have a ridiculous rule that tanning sessions have to be 20 min apart per bed, even if the person before only used it for 5 min...you have to wait 15 more to get it. Here's the issue with this rule. We come after work to workout and we immediately sign up on the tanning list for the next open bed or booth. We then go workout for 45 min to 1 hour and we still have to wait an additional hour to tan, we don't want to spend 2 hours at the gym after work. Most of the time the booths are empty. I understand they are not running a tanning salon, but it would be nice if they just made the rule that nobody can tan unless they have been signed in for 30-45 minutes. Also when a bed is open they should clean it and get the next person in especially when it's busiest after work.

It's good for cardio and light workouts. the staff at this location takes care of complaints promptly. For instance in the 30 minute room, if you complain that someone is interrupting your work out by using the machines incorrectly they take care of it immediately.my biggest issue is their customer service and their website. you cannot get ahold of anybody in their corporate office they tell you to go directly to the club you signed up with. That's fine, but what do you do when the club doesn't resolve your complaint?their website is ridiculously hard to navigate. You have to literally enter your information every time you change pages. and it's just not with a user name you have to find your state, find your location, and then enter your membership number. so freaking annoying.
