Terrible reception desk service. Each time I've been in there, I've been told I'm not a member of their franchise. Why that matters with a black membership card is beyond me. When requesting to buy ear buds, it was suggested that I go down to a different store to buy them. He stated how terrible the ones they had to offer were and that I would be better buying them somewhere else. Truly it seemed he just didn't want to ring anyone out or have to work in the slightest. I'll make the farther drive from home to the Rocky River location.

Currently overcrowded unless u only work elliptical or treadmill as there seems 3 b enough. You can queue 1+ hours to use certain weight equipment eventually u just can't wait but owner seems undeterred because they keep pushing more users in. Just call for info & you'll c yourself. Ask them an unrelated membership question they may answer then immediately start a push to sell...while we wait very long turns on weight equipment. Membership needs to reduce or take this cash volume & find a larger place then add equipment according to proven statistical data. U really think 2 rowers or 3 stair steppers or 1 calf weight etc services 1000 members well? That's when u no its about pocketing cash nit servicing for the dollar u sell something for..

Rebecca who was filling in today at the Brook Park location on 6-14-2020 should be a mentor for the rest of the employees there. Very sweet, kind, understanding, and didn't make me feel like I was a bother calling to ask questions. And she called me by name. Other employees there are never at the desk especially in the AM time, and are not knowledgeable or appreciative of people coming to them for questions or advice. For being a no judgement environment you don't always feel welcome.

I just started going to the gym with my cousin because she already has a membership. I joined and became a member myself today because I've enjoyed it so much so far. It has everything I need and the massage bed is amazing after working out!

Been coming here on and off for nearly 5 years. Staff is always great, the new additions to the team seem nice so far. Clean and we'll maintained. Following covid guidelines and extra cleaning from staff is being done consistently.

I was a member for about 1 year and enjoyed it. I went to cancel my membership because I stay active enough in the summer to not need a gym membership and was disappointed to find out they wouldn't refund me for the month's membership that literally just went through the same day I cancelled AND while cancelling my membership about half of the people in the gym working out weren't wearing masks despite them being required. I lost a lot of respect for Planet Fitness after that.

Decent place, but sadly doesn't have any free weight besides barbells and dumbbells. It does offer Smith machines to do bench presses and squats but it's not the same as free weight.

I had a good experience until recently the staff is usually very friendly accept one girl I believe her name is Melissa she works 2nd shift. She targets young girls, maybe out of spite? Why do they hire severely overweight people at a gym? What a joke!

Worst place to ever deal with. The managers are rude. The regional is just as bad. They dont sort out any problems but with give you the worst headache youll ever have. They dont care about the people what so ever. Theyll let you do one thing and then turn around and say you cant do that. Very unprofessional and very dirty. They even went as far to tell me that they would be GLAD to see me go after being there for over 2 years.

Went to this planet fitness for almost 4 months now and I haven't had a huge problem until tonight. Tonight there were a group of men boxing in the abs section and there wasn't any room for me to do my ab workouts or my flute workouts. I felt intimidated and I ended up leaving. If this continues, I will try to switch gyms. Hoping they will let me. It's not fair for us working out to not have space or feel intimidated while working out. The employee on duty has been told about the situation and it is still happening. Will tell management in the morning. Hopefully it'll change or I will not be coming anymore.
