I have been Lifetime member for 5 years. I have visited several lifetime locations including Bloomington South, Crosstown and Plymouth. Equipment at Plymouth is above average compared to most clubs. What sets LTF clubs apart is the no. Of services under one roof (climbing wall, pool, group fitness, child minding and kids summer camp, gym, team training etc). I have had no issues with lockers, pretty comparable to other clubs i have visited. Parking is definitely a problem during peaktime compared to other LTF facilities. Some staff members (particularly the front desk) can adopt better demeanor. Many users have rightly commented on it. Personal trainers are friendly and understand customer needs. Group fitness is fun but one Yoga instructor on Sunday evenings needs to understand that she may be a professional gymnast, her class members are not. Street Vybe on Sat mornings could use a bigger room during winter as it gets crowded. Overall a decent value for money but there is potential to improve.

Not the greatest experience. The parking lot is madness. I had to drive around for around 3 laps before finding a spot. The place is super crowded at all times. I have yet to go and find the machine I need on the first try. Finally, they lack some amenities, like the "small lockers" close to the training area where one would store a wallet and keys without having to stop by all the way by the locker room.

The amenities and the equipment are great.I have gone to this gym for years and I like it. The 2 stars is for the pathetic business practices. When changing my membership back to Plymouth only from the Onyx membership, they charged me a fee around $35 or so, and to cancel your membership you have to physically come in and sign or if you move you can MAIL a letter to them to cancel your membership but you still have to pay for a whole month after the month you want to cancel. And the manager told me to send the letter certified mail so I would know it was even delivered. She also didn't say they would contact me to assure me the letter was received and my request was being handled. As if they don't have an option to e-mail my request or do it over the phone! To purposely make it difficult for people to change their membership does not show that they care about their customers, they only care about the MONEY.

Kirsten, who organizes swim lessons is amazing!!!! She goes above and beyond to make swim lessons work for our family. Tonight, we were late to our daughter's lesson (our own fault) and she made every accommodation to get her some swim time. I know that can't always happen but was very grateful for her extra effort and understanding. Would definitely recommend Plymouth lifetime swim lessons largely because of her. She's great. Teachers are great too. Thank you!

Overall amenities are on par with any other gym but the customer service and management staff is the worst I have see for any business. Will not work with customers and will corner you in a terms agreement if given the chance. Was lied to when I sighed up about how canceling the membership works. I was canceling do to poor customer service and when I did they charged me another month and wrote off my complaint because I was no longer a member. Gym is about the money and not the service or souls inside. Do not recommend becoming a member. Avoid if at all possible.

My family has been a member of Lifetime for over 20 years, and we have attended this specific club since it opened.I do not know why we have basically flushed thousands of dollars down the drain here. The facilities are nice, sure, but in my experience, so many of the people who work here (mainly the managers and people in positions of authority) are arrogant, uncooperative and treat people very differently based on their race, gender and perceived income-level. If you are a wealthy Wayzata soccer mom who needs a membership here, go for it. Anyone else, I highly encourage you to find an alternative facility. When I moved out of state for work, cancelling my membership was extremely difficult, and I ended up having to pay multiple months of wasted fees. I called member services here multiple times and nobody returned my calls. Finally, when I did get a hold of someone, instead of apologizing, they simply said "this is what you signed, deal with it." I get it, its part of your contract, but please very least show some courtesy and appreciation for all the money I have spent with you.I am in the process of canceling my parents and siblings memberships here too. I regret ever spending a dollar here.

Let me explain why I rate 1 star. I have been a lifetime member for over 10 years and my wife and my kid just joined in recently. In the summer time of 2015, my wife would like to put her member in pending ( herself only). The staff member ended up cancelled all of the family member and charged us $35. A couple days later, I need to go in to reinstall the member for myself and the kid. I don't think all staff are well trained on what they are doing.Another issue is, the swimming staff is suck. ( If you're planning to sign up swimming lesson here, please stop, do yourself a favorite). They constantly changing the swim instructors, likely every other week. Most of them are high school students. There is one girl always look tires and yawning constantly during teaching my kids. My daughter complained that she drink too much water during the lesson. I always feel likes I should have taking my kids back and walk out of there whenever my kids get assigning to her. Results: I will be cancelling my member ship after 10 years with them. I would escalate this issue to cooperate to address the matter.

So far so good. Michael helped sign us up. No pressure easy going attitude was winner for me. Equipment are much nicer than work, anytime or snap fitness. Family likes the classes and the pool.

No one told me when i joined that this is actually a community center. I thought I was joining an exclusive high end PRIVATE health club for members only, but this facility not only offers discount memberships to city residents, but also daily passes and even low income family vouchers. If thats the way they want to run their club, fine, but they should advise members. Its overcrowded, parking, lockers, showers, classes, floor machines, pool deck chairs- plan to wait if you go during peak hours.Prospective members should really be advised that pool availability is extremely limited due to not only their own swim team use, this pool is rented out year round to the local school swim teams and synchronized swim teams. Its literally mobbed with kids and parents afterschool, early evening and weekends, the locker rooms are jammed with unsupervised children,, lines for showers, and the hot tubs are "kiddie pools" after practice is done despite this being clearly posted as against the rules. Lifeguards pretty much ignore many safety rules in favor of chatting amongst themselves, I have brought this to management attention to no avail. The facilities are nice, but get dirty faster than they are cleaned with all the crowds. During peak hours and even some off peak, fitness classes are overcrowded, yoga is practically in need of a "take a number" before class system. Locker rooms are dirty and overcrowded. And the monster dust bunnies in the corners of the workout floors never go away, ever. Ew.No way would i recommend this club to anyone, unless of course they like working out in an overcrowded messy, noisy and at times unsafe environment.Im not impressed with staff, they are either only interested in what they can sell you or you are invisible to them. Just ugh. The dude that signed us up would be better suited to used car sales, way too much pressure, actually told me that if I didnt sign up that day "I see you doing nothing" as if he was convinced I'd just blow fitness off and never set foot in another health club. He almost convinced me to go somewhere else, and now im not so sure I shouldnt have. With all their public subsidizing from swim teams and the city, this club's rates should be lower than the average gold club membership for non resident members, but its not. We get to pay full price to support a community center for a huge and massively, rapidly growing city. If you are reading reviews for helpful info, I;ve noticed some of the best ones seem to be written by people who have just joined, I've been a member for 6 months. It took me a few weeks to start seeing all this, and it was just this week I found out about the city/club partnership.

Canceled my membership ... I'm frustrated at the Aquatics staff attitude and professionalism. These days I'm pretty much down to using the swimming (lap-pool) facility. Last week I called to confirm before coming in to swim and was …
