This lifetime has the worst employees out of any gym I have ever been to.The personal trainers frequently harass you to get off machines because “they need them for classes” or “for their clients.” On top of this, the personal trainers are highly unqualified. The number of times I have seen a personal trainer teaching someone how to use a machine (frequently the rowing machines) incorrectly is absured. The front desk is also needs improvement. Some of the front desk workers, particularly the younger high school, college employees are friendly and do their job well. However, the older adult employees are very rude. They make it near impossible to bring guests and are generally unpleasant. The locker room and towel desk employees also are terrible. I have witnessed them harrass teenagers and even swear at them.Overall this lifetime is a very nice facility and it has almost every workout machine you could imagine but the employees make the place unbearable. I’m not sure if they are so short staffed that they just hire every person who applies or if they just have 0 training what so ever for new employees.

I really love this gym. The equipment is modern and well maintained. Everything is always clean. Locker rooms are spacious. There’s plenty of weight benches and cable machines so you almost never have to wait for anything you here. Plus, having towel service is a huge perk! Nobody wants to be stuck with a wet towel in their car all day if you use the gym showers.

I was just complaining to my mom about Lifetime Fitness. Then come to read these reviews and everyone thinks the same thing.Pro - the facilities are nice. The pool is awesome; my kids love the indoor and outdoor pool. The Kid's Center has great options. I love the vibe of Lifetime.Con - most of the staff is rude. My kids take swimming lessons and it's a joke. I would say 1 out of 6 staff members are welcoming and friendly. I am considering quitting by this alone. Then I got an email saying they were raising my rates and I'm already unhappy. This being said, I am considering going to the YMCA. My kids take the summer program there, which is amazing and established. The staff is friendly and personable. However, I am younger than your average YMCA goer, by all means, and the pool isn't as awesome.

Lifetime Fitness is a pretty nice gym. It is close to work at PFGC Vistar & close to home in Plymouth. They’re the best gym - better than LA Fitness. It is located several blocks from Wayzata High School, & a block from the library & grocery store. The "powerlifting" weight racks are nice, & that is a unique touch. There are sexy girls there. As a warehouse shipping employee there is plenty of exercise you get just from doing your job but ya there’s definitely some snazzy equipment there & all that. Sleep troubleThis location is familiar to me & everything seems tidy & neat, free towels, bathrooms work, no smell, huge facility, etc. A pastor, Sam Royco, seems good. Socially things seem fine & nice & convenient for gym patrons. Several friends come to this gym often - Blake & Kenny & Rob. A sibling, Hans, & a relative, Eeva, come to use the facilities here as well. Man, I hunger for junk food after visiting this gym. Health concerns.I'm sorry to say this but a gym membership does not fit in the budget at this point in time. Am unable to commit to the monthly fee. I wish them on staff all the best in their endeavorsRegards,Powertech

What a joke. They signed us up for an (auto renewing) magazine that has a cost to it (i'm sure there is some fine print somewhere in the member agreement about this) and then when we cancelled they require a 30 day notice. We missed that …

Honestly Shawn F. Is the greatest! Plus I like a lot of the other staff. The community at this location is great! I enjoy talking with the people and most are friendly while others are more interested in taking on other personas less friendly. I've been a member for years you'll enjoy this massive location and the people in it.

They just got rid of a ton of equipment in exchange for more jumping around space without equipment. For $90 a month you don’t need space, you can get that anywhere for free. A lot of them were cable machines with no direct equivalent. …

Great amount of classes and activities. Staff is friendly. The drawback is the pool is taken by swim teams during the most desirable times, and the weight room isn't "busy" after work, it's overcrowded.

I've been coming to the Life Time Fitness Plymouth MN location for about a year now whenever I'm up here for work. I've belonged to a number of gyms in my lifetime, and though I am on a pay-as-I-go basis with this location, it is possibly the nicest and most well-kept gym I've frequented. First off, the facility is enormous - huge swimming pools, salon, quick service restaurant, treadmills and ellipticals as far as the eye can see (and they're all in service and very well maintained!) - and the staff does a great job of keeping the place meticulously clean. The men's locker room is pristine and loaded with amenities. The customer service is consistently good, but one person in particular stands out - Trevin W., one of the account managers, is particularly kind, outgoing, and always willing to go the extra mile. All in all, the Plymouth Life Time Fitness is a club I would highly recommend.
