Imagine going to a gym every day for months to all of a sudden come in one day drop your child off in the daycare room an then be told you have to pay a $10 fee for your child since your a guest. I've been going with my friend and her daughter for months every day at the same time. for the manager Kayla to come up and ask us to leave. Kayla said the daycare has been overfilled and that they need to limit the amount of children. Ok so would I be told that if I was a member? Probably not because there is only one sweetheart D who busts her butt in that daycare room and I'm sure she's overwhelmed but she continues to care for every child that comes through there. So after being rudely asked to leave a gym we've been going to for months that my friend pays VIP for monthly to have daycare included we decided to call around the other fit factory's and they couldn't believe how we were treated and they told us we are more than welcomed to come into their gym that this isn't something they'd ever turn a member and their guest away for. It's mind blowing on how rude "managers" get after realizing they're not making money off of one person who has been a guest for months. The same manager that checked me in weekly for weeks I was going there and would still check me in here an there. If your ready to be treated poorly and asked to leave immediately after driving a half hour then this must be the gym for you.

I’ve been a member here before they even opened (Braintree location). I love this gym! The staff always greet you when you walk in, I’ve developed relationships with the group fit instructors and I’ve lost weight! What more can you ask for! Every time I’ve emailed them with questions, comments etc. they response wicked fast and always eager to help! I always recommend this gym to my friends when they’re looking for a gym!

I used to love coming to this gym but lately I’ve noticed a decline in the care of this facility due to overcrowding. Lockers are broken, the bathrooms are not clean anymore and it is impossible to find an area to stretch because classes take over. In the evening weight lifters are continuously dropping weights and this can be heard throughout the entire gym, extremely annoying and disruptive. I joined because this gym was different, not anymore. I can save money and just go back to the other gyms in the area.

Crossfit here is great. The coaches really know what they're talking about and they push you just hard enough. They're very encouraging, and if you have an injury or any other issue, they will help you scale down the workout. And the fellow "students" are fantastic too. It's a very inclusive environment, with people of all different ages, body types and fitness levels welcoming everyone.

Great gym clean and convenient. The staff is really friendly and helpful, equipment is new and the locker rooms very clean. There are many different plans to choose from they also have a child care service so you can work out anytime. Plenty of parking I highly recommend this gym

DO NOT JOIN. Also, go through and read how many other people have mentioned this very same issue! They, like most gyms, require a 30 day notice for cancellation. Sure, that can be standard with some gyms. However, they only allow you to have access to the paperwork, through a manager, which are not available outside set times. For someone like me that works long hours and could get there when a manager was on shift, it was a nightmare. The bigger concern is that they will hit you with a "Rate-lock-fee" which falls within the 30 day time frame, even if you are canceling your membership for the upcoming year. And the fee will of course fall at the end of your 12 year cycle, without notice. So a fee, that is specifically in place to lock in the rate you pay per month for a whole additional year, is applied to your account and billed to you at the time of your renewal.... for a membership you no longer have! And again, they send you NO notification that your renewal fee is even coming up, so that you will get stuck with the cost regardless.I wrote to the General Manager, David, and he did not answer any of my questions, but just recited the policy and offered to transfer the credit to a family member or friend. Why would I subject a family member or friend to the scam so they can get caught paying these down the road?! I also called and left him a message to speak and he never called me back. He was more than happy to send an email with every sentence ending in an explanation mark though, to drive home his condescending tone and lack of customer service. Says a lot about their lack of training of their employees if that is the general manager.I ended up requesting time off work to get there in time to cancel my membership with a manger last night and was forced to pay the last month and "lock-rate-fee" otherwise I would be continually billed every month with the lock rate fee regardless.so do yourself a favor and find another gym!!! There are plenty of competitors in the area and they will treat you with more respect and not have policies that take advantage of their members. Or at the bare minimum, send you updates and notices through email on upcoming charges or changes in your account! Pretty basic stuff.

Surprised it doesn't have more reviews, this gym is an unbelievable find, with personal training offered, showers, lockers, juice bar, towels, child minding. They are extremely affordable and everything is relatively new, there are a lot of classes and crossfit is offered too. I highly recommend it and anybody that I have brought with me loves it too.

We enjoyed our membership and chose this gym because it is no commitment. Now as we try to cancel, we have found that it is even more difficult than contract gyms (i.e. planet fitness). They require in person cancellation and continue to bill you for 30 days post cancellation request- clearly a scam for another months membership where I won't even be able to use the gym. I am very disappointed in this establishment. After two phone calls and an email my membership is not cancelled for both myself and my husband. This place was close to home but now that we moved is becoming an exhausting effort. As a side note: the equipment is no better than planet fitness and the tanning booths are disgusting. Classes are OK. Some instructors better than others. Spin is especially hit or miss.

Fit Factory is the best gym I’ve been to on the South Shore! I love that I can freeze my membership when I go away to school and know I have a clean gym with awesome trainers and the proper equipment for whatever style of training I want to do that day. 9/10 would recommend. The only reason I say 9/10 and not 10/10 is because I wish it was a little more open in the lifting sections at both Kingston and Braintree, but considering everything else that I enjoy, it’s worth it.
