Half the equipment seems to be either out of order or just plain unusable. The staff... well they just seem to be "there", in that they rarely even acknowledge anyone there. All of this would be excusable because, if we're being honest, it's a 24 Hour Fitness, EXCEPT IT ISN'T OPEN 24 HOURS. Makes zero sense. Don't waste your time and money here.

One of the better service 24 hr Fitness location. Towels are provided 90% of the time. Great variety of exercise equipment and new cross-training area. Large shower area with privacy doors.

Staff not really friendly, towels not always available, pool too cold, equipment needs cleaning more often. Clean looking generally speaking with lots of equipment. Basically the patrons are Asian and elderly. They've had lots of plumbing probs but I think fixed now.

If you're a 24 hr member you understand the hrs which im fine with. Personally instead of renovating the bottom floor and adding a turf, i would of replaced the cable machines on the second floor. Weights often get left out by members (not holding it against staff) and it gets pretty annoying to be trying to track down weights to get your session in. Towels have been available 90% of the time, I've used the locker room twice and it wasn't bad, haven't tried the classes so I cant have an opinion there. Overall its a fair gym for the price, it just hasn't been up kept very well definitely would like to see broken equipment replaced vs repaired with bandaids.

went here after the remodeling and it is nicely done. Workout towels handout were readily available unless it was a full house of us gym rats. Men's locker room was kept clean.....a few machines sounded worn out though and need to be addressed. Only downside.....why calling it 24hrs when it does not open 24hrs? Confused there....

Horrible customer service. I had joined this gym and entered into a fixed contract only for the summer and paid that fixed cost. After only a month they had charged me an extra $40 and will not reimburse me even after I had paid for the next 3 months of membership. Not to mention, I had spoken with the manager who said they would get back to me asap, and that never happened. All of this aside, the equipment is old and low in weight inventory, the gym and its locker rooms are almost always dirty, and one day while I was benching I was interrupted with what seemed to be water leaking from the roof tiles. Only thing I loved about this gym was the new turf facility. Overall, worst experience in my years of gym memberships. Do yourself a favor and look into another gym in the area!

I work out here regularly. The hours on the weekends are okay, but not 24hrs (not a problem for me thus far). It's under new management now, or so I've heard, lots of new faces at the front. My biggest issue is the condition of pretty much everything. When it's busy (especially on weekends or during popular class times) the towels pile up to overflowing levels in the locker room. Tuesdays and Thursdays are very popular/busy days. The equipment upstairs badly needs to be cleaned and repaired. Some of the ellipticals and stair masters are absolutely disgusting with caked on grime. I'm there to sweat and this gym is the closest to my house, so I try to ignore it. I know some of the cleaning issues is from rude members(towels on floor), but there are check mark times announced over the PA for cleaning that doesn't seem to happen.

This gym has good days and bad days, where sometimes the staff is diligent, everything is clean, they pick up towels and clean the floors. Other days, the floors are dirty and there are no towels, but the bins are full of wet ones. I blame a lot of the messy problems on the people who come and drop things on the floor and expect someone else to clean up after them. They walk through wet areas by the pool with street shoes since there are no rules about going through to the locker rooms via the hallway. Some people think spitting is permitted when they exit the steam room because there are gutters around the pool, and no one tells them how disgusting this is and no signs prohibit it. As for working equipment, there always seems to be equipment available and since I see people working out, I can only assume that the equipment works. The classes that I've attended have had pretty good instructors. Several of the aqua classes are full because they are so popular, although sometimes the pool chemicals are "off" or the water is chilly.I can't compare it to any other club because I haven't gone to them. All I can say is that the club personnel have always been very friendly but the club cleanliness conditions would be better if they were more consistent in their monitoring efforts and if club members would be more considerate of others.

Recent renovation isn't enough. This gym has seen better days. The staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. This building is old, and I mean even with the recent renovations it's machines aren't as nice as some of the other clubs. The layout is atrocious, there isn't enough room to work out with free weights. The bathrooms and showers are pretty darn good now that they have invested in renovating this area.

Customer service is horrible. They treat the customers like they are paying us to be there. Last I checked, I pay them for horrible customer service. Speak when a customer is entering or leaving the gym...act like you care. The one on Coit and Campbell has much better customer service.
