If you're looking for a senior citizens high school reunion, then this is the place for you! But seriously, if you are looking for a place to actually work out: then you might as well go to the location off of Coit & Campbell. There's always someone getting jealous & trying to fight you if you're dominating gains in your own zone. I even had the trainers scared when I used to work out here....they got a nice spa though lol.

I used to work out at this long time ago and it's really going down the drain (I now go to the Murphy one). The place isn't trashy, but it's grimy, the locker rooms and bathrooms are filthy, the trainers are kind of rude, the music they now play is annoying (they used to play a lot of Modest Mouse and Foo Fighters, now they just play too much EDM and Justin Bieber although I just listen to my own music on my phone), equipment is really old, it's still hasn't been converted to a super sport unlike other sport gyms converting to super sport, I hardly see that many youngsters as most of them are 60 year old Asians (not trying to be racist), and it's really stupid how they close at night on Fridays and weekends (It's called 24 Hour Fitness for a reason) and I usually work out at nights than during the daytime. However, I usually just work out for about 1-2 hours just doing basic weight lifting workouts so I am able to overlook some of these cons which is why I am little more generous to give it 3 stars than 2 stars which I believe would deserve. But they really got to do a lot of improving with the place and they should never close unless if it's a certain holiday, it's 24 Hour Fitness! Although working out there for years brings back memories, I would never come back her again unless they actually try to renovate the place, let alone making it a super-sport.

There is so much that I would like to say.Cons1.) Head the warnings the locker room especially the women's. If you look in the shower you will find that it smells strongly of bleach. Second that some of the showers are under construction. Lastly that there is mold.2.) The pool. I actually got sick because on the one day that I went it was raining, and it was dripping into the pool.3.) THEY ARE NOT 24 HOURS. You think I am kidding we weren't told that they closed early when we signed up. On the first Monday we went they said that they were closing. I thought I miss heard so I went down to ask and they said that they were closing at 8. When I went to another location ( the one on royal ) and asked what time they closed they looked at me like I was the most stupidest person. I don't blame them because THERE SIGN SAYS 24 HOURS FITNESS. Once I told them they thought I was joking and even taking bets amongst others. Alot lost.4.) It is very old, in this day in age they need to take those hours that they are close and focus on rebranding that location.Positive1.) The playroom for the kids. It's so awesome. My child can run around and have so much fun there. He loves it and it has a playground inside. There is so much for them to do.3.) The staff. They are really nice and almost always have towels.

Pros- Towel service is great and there are always towels. I think the air problem people have been complaining about has been fixed because i always find it to be cool (i usually run on the hot side myself) and this is a big gym with plenty of space for everyone. I think the staff is fine pretty nice people.Cons- not really 24 hours..closes pretty early friday saturday and sunday. Very very very dissapointing. All the other cons could be over looked if this place would stay open and it would get 3 stars instead of 2. Also the equipment really is old i almost hurt myself on a faulty treadmill 2 different treadmills back to back and am afraid to go on anymore. Other than that this place could just use a good steam cleaning from floor to ceiling. Its not trashy, just grimey.

I like it, the people are friendly, they are interested in fitness not impressing others, they have the classes I want, and I feel very comfortable there. Machines are now being replaced little by little and the club is improving physically right along with me!

I thought the staff were very rude. I was trying their gym out and I was not aware my trial membership had ended. Instead of talking to me while leaving, they pulled me out of a class in front of 50 people and assumed I was working the system, and made me leave unless I paid. I thought it was pretty offensive. The manager who pulled me out half way through the class was Meghan Smart.

Covenient location for me near utd campus. People assume old=dirty. Not the case in my opinion. Staff is friendly and although I have only been here a few times I really like the layout of this gym way more than some of the new locations. If you want upscale everything go join lifetime, where you won't be able to work out your arms and legs anyway ... because that's what it'll cost you.

Terrible. But it's becoming a corporate theme for 24 hour fitness. The dust on top of the lockers is so thick that when you open the doors it goes everywhere. Dirty, nasty, old broken equipment. Im looking for a new gym. They're all like this anymore.
