CLUB4 Fitness Murphy

Update: this gym has gotten a lot better in customer service. Never had an issue with the staff since. Awesome stuff.The management here is pretty bad and I have only been here a couple months. That being said, the facility is new and pleasing to the eye for its cost.They will not make any exceptions to the local ID policy. I recently switched from 24 hour fitness to club4 as it was a newer facility and was trying to get my dad to transfer over as well. However, when he went to try it out, he was denied a free trial because his driver license said his home address was in richardson when he just moved in with us in wylie but they would not make any exception even with other forms of proof.About the flip flop policy, I received my first warning today and they kicked me out of the gym. I have a medical injury and cant wear shoes because I got compression bands on so it wont fit atm. Never had an issue with flip flops at any gym and I have never EVER and never will get an injury from this.

Machines wont get fixed for like 3-6 months

They steal your money for 2 or 3 months when you go to end membership. First 2 months they donot response and for the third month they required 30days to end membership..never again!!!

The only thing good is if you pay for 24 hour access, other than that it’s a joke. I tried canceling they claim it has to be done online, they sent me a cancellation request via email. I tried several ways to access the email it claimed wrong password. I went back and told them, they sent me another link and that too said wrong password. After 3 months of dealing with it I just called my bank and told them to stop paying. Now they got me in collections. I told them I tried to cancel, I sent them pictures but they want me to call another stupid number. For the price you get a lot of kids that just pay the basic membership so you are waiting to use machines, usually it’s dirty when they clean, to very dirty when they don’t.

The women's locker room could do a lot better with the cleanliness. I moved and recently decided to go to the Murphy location. Compared to the McKinney location, the Murphy location needs to do better with cleaning. Behind the commode is an accumulation of dust, hair, and nastiness. This has to be better! It's quite dinghy 😳🤢. I work in health care & would not dare look at the shower.

Cancelling is a hot mess. Not customer focused or customer friendly. We moved to a different part of TX, we were satisfied with this gym. Clean enough, etiquette for dudes working out not the best but you're getting what you pay for. To cancel, the hard working individuals at the front desk will tell you that you have to self-unenroll. Of course you have to do that 30 days in advance. Both my husband and myself did is exactly as instructed. Horrible tech, lots of clicks and totally convoluted. I followed the process after my husband and it told me I was set, already cancelled. A month passed and I get a charge for one membership. I call and talk to another hard working assistant manager who says my account has no note and I have to go try to unenroll. Again . I morphed into a Karen and she was magically able to cancel my account but she couldn't issue me a refund. She actually hung up on me so I'm guessing her age to be <25, Id advise club4fit to do some more training for their "management". I'm now filling with BBB and my bank to get my months fee back really just bc of the principal of it all. Again your getting what you pay for. My experience is as expected, but disappointing.

Do not go to this place. They are the worst place you can go. They still your money debiting your account even after you cancel and then they just said they don’t have any records!!

I used to be with Staci in Zumba for 24 hour fitness in Richardson. When I come and visit Richardson, TX, I’ll be hopeful to see Staci at 24 hour fitness in Richardson someday
