CLUB4 Fitness Murphy

While I was reading reviews from other members about this location, I didn't realize people had such huge issues with the former manager. Glad the management transfered Chloe from the McKinney location here, which was the facility I used to workout at.Fortunately I started using the Murphy location after the transfer was completed and didn't have to experience the unpleasantness everyone else has stated in their reviews.Quite frankly, I enjoy the Murphy location just as much as the McKinney location if not more, due to the bigger square footage and more machine options this location has to offer.

This location is amazing from size, hours, great equipment, and great staff! Looking at all the reviews I’m not sure what the issue is with the manager for others because my experience with both Phillip and the fitness manager Rodney is always welcoming and friendly! I haven’t had any issues and really appreciate the environment and atmosphere they’ve created for this location! I highly suggest this gym to anyone from employment, memberships, and training sessions!Also I would like to add that there’s lots of complaints about Phillip calling cops, obviously that means he cares about the safety and well being of the other members and his staff. Don’t cause problems and their won’t be any?! Thank you!

This place is stealing my money even though I canceled it, there are bunch of rude kids not professional misbehaving on front desk and not paying attention to customers! I was denied entry to club as i was accompanying my teenager kid and was told you cannot enter and 13 year old need to be in daycare!Update 09/14/2022 4:55PM CST: spoke with general manager, as though she was courteous and tried to help, but not as helping out as to finding out if their staff updated the system, I did cancelled my membership based on last interaction as they “failed” to keep the track of their staff interaction with facility members/customers, CLUB4Fitness can keep the money for unused time as I have not used to facility for long time and was under impression my membership was cancelled, rather than addressing the issue of how to get the clients back, I got the flat answers again!!

This was a great gym! If I wasn’t moving I’d definitely stay here. All the staff is friendly and nice. Never once had a bad experience.My only issue was recently they blast the AC and all the fans. It’s freezing. My ponytail blows violently from the wind. It’s very hard to stay warm. Being cold causes injuries. But other than that it’s a great gym!ALSO these comments about a girl getting kicked out from a Karen complaining is very inaccurate. I actually accidentally got it on video. (I was filming myself) The girl squatting (that got kicked out apparently) hogs the squat rack in the women’s area she does 5+ sets and takes 15 minute breaks in between each set. I was in there stretching and there was three women waiting patiently for the rack. The Karen asked how much she had left (the Karen was irritated at this point) and the girl rudely replied “3 sets” As if the question bothered her. She could have offered to share it or let others work in. (Gym etiquette 101) but she didn’t. If she wants to squat all day cool, but go on a squat rack outside of the female section where there’s 10+ racks.And throwing the race card is hilarious. Yes the “Karen” was white but the two other females also waiting for the squat rack were Hispanic and Middle Eastern. The white lady was the one who spoke up. The Karen approached aggressive and the girl in the squat rack was rude and inconsiderate. Both were in the wrong technically.Anyways ignore these reviews. Try this gym out. It’s totally worth it!

Great place for working out. Love the environment. Very big gym that has variety of equipments and services. They have dance classes, gymnastics room, tanning, hydro massage and woman’s room.

I love this gym!!! The moment I walked in the door, I was greeted by Chloe who was smiling and made me feel comfortable. She answered all my questions and gave me a tour of the place. It was clean and the AC works great. They have a great selection of equipment and each time I have been, it has not been packed. There is plenty of floor space and a huge turf area.

Awesome gym , always clean, Equipment In great shape . People are respectful of others with using of equipment.

I do enjoy the layout of the gym and equipment but the staff at this location has no awareness of cleanliness and overall sanitation. The bathrooms/ locker rooms I am scared of and that I am going to walk away with a staph infection due to how dirty they are or I am going to be be attacked by a dirty moldy germ monster. I fear to change my attire in the actual locker room at this location due to how dirty it is.Sad part the staff does not care to clean it and if you tell them it is dirty they look at you with an empty stair thinking how could you blame them because they are hired as front desk employees?? A business will never have clean restrooms without a janitorial or sanitation hire to keep the cleanliness above satisfaction. If you need a gym to workout at and that is it then this is a great spot.If you need a locker room to use for showering or the bathroom then you better go across the street to 24hr fitness. They at least keep it clean at that location and I will be returning to 24hr fitness.

New manager is extremally rude and uses his termination power recklessly. He treats member like he's above them and give a short response when it comes to you termination. If you breathe wrong you're getting banned with no warning. Btw were not getting the sauna back sadly. Been broken for monthsa picture of what Philip looks like is attached below

Great gym with lots of diverse equipment at a great price. they have a crossfit area and tradition strength area. The gym culture seemed to be great with etiquette.
