Great equipment! Great staff! Nice classes offered, fair price! Everything I need to stay and get in shape. Only thing I’d like to see is some of the treadmills monitors removed. It over looks the Mountains and the screens ruin the lovely view.

I used to like this place but right now with the new management is declining. Restrooms and bathrooms are dirty and now the heat in the dry sauna can’t be control which is extremely hot, no body can stay for even 2 min. Spoke with front desk and manager said that the temperature can not be control and to minimize the time in it. The fact is the temperature control is broken and they don’t want to fixed it, they prefer to spend money an electricity then have clients happy. I wish people boycott this place and see what are they going to do. For me I prefer to drive the extra mile and be happy.

Used to love this gym! Long waits, wipes everywhere, super talkative upfront they can’t even recognize, you standing there sometimes.

Very amazing and friendly employees. You'll meet some great people here. It's becoming my favorite place to hang out and make gains.

I have read alot of review spanning from just the beginning of this year 2023, and I am not very excited to start going to this gym. I am planning on reaching my fitness goals, but the owners don't seem to upkeep a functional gym. They do respond to the concerns, but it is an automated response and the concerns are ALL the same even from 3 months ago. Please Defined Fitness in Rio I want to come to a fully functioning gym. I gave a 3 because I used to attend and it was running 100%, but now it seems to of gone downhill.

This club has no ability to help their customers. Only “Omar” can fix a membership. I tried to switch over from regular membership to Presbyterian. Nope. And. I’ve tried for 3 months. They have charged me 2x the rate … both memberships. And. I was so frustrated I got mad at the front desk and Omar refused to let me into the club ever again. These pirates play games. Do not get a membership with them. I’ve been a member for years. Now that they have expanded they charge extra fees. Their contacts are impossible to switch. They play games. and they steal your money. and they have a stepford stare. When they irritate you beyond belief…. They ENJOY it. And. The executive team will call and say they will call you back. Never called back. This gym is no good. None. It is so frustrating and they do not care. You won’t get to exercise. You will just pay and pay and pay. Trust me. I’ve tried. There is nothing positive out of a Defined membership anymore.

Sorry to do this to you Omar (greet manager) but I have to warn people about how defined operates. Find another Gym to use. Defined signed my 17 year old son up to a membership. I found out months later. I went down and signed the form for him. They won't help with canceling his membership. Also they charged him about $320 before he was even able to use the gym. They should have better systems in place to keep a kid from signing up and billing him before a parent signs the paperwork that is needed. Stay away from defined fitness. I have already requested a call from someone but no one has reached out. If you would like to get in contact with me ask Omar for my number.

My overall experience was decent here. The staff is friendly for the most part, the gym is clean, equipment is up to par but my one and only issue is the groups of teenagers/young adults hogging the equipment/socializing. I don’t typically post reviews but this is an issues for people on a time limit. I typically only workout for about 45 minutes to an hour so I need to be in and out. Seems like these groups are more concerned about socializing rather than working out.Last week there was a group of 5 surrounding the Hack Squat Machine. They were using it for a total of 38 minutes and only 2 of them were actually using it the rest were just talking playing swords with the bar from the squat rack.2 days ago waited 27 minutes to use lateral raise machine because a group of 3 were using it as a chair to watch their friend do cable flies. I can go on and on.

Friendly..could expand its workout floor with a hammer circuit...wet sauna.....expand hours...encourage ppl to put their phones away when training.

I do wish the hours on the weekend were open longer. I feel at a gym, cleanliness is key and it's a little upsetting to have four employees standing at the front counter talking while the bathrooms are dirty, there's no wipes for the machines in some of the dispensers and the doors and glass are dirty. Would love to see the bottom of the machines cleaned as well, not just the treadmills. Just my opinion.
