I would give them haft of star if I can, I cancelled my membership since Feb and they still charged me few months after and I had to call multiple times. They told me GM would call me back which I have never received a call from them. I called them again in June and a staff told me my account is canceled in June but I keep receiving calls that they could not charge me. And today I called again to check why they keep calling me then they said my account is still active. It’s freaking ridiculous! Make sure they give you the copy of cancellation form and keep it at least a year for your proof or never ever go there if you don’t want to waste your time and money!!!!Update: To answer to the response below of the owner, the General Manager Brian Gonzalez did not help at all. All what he said is I have to pay for those months which I canceled but they haven't processed since Feb!!!!

They actually do have had really bad customer service in the past. Lately it's been better with new staff in the evening. They are more positive and aknowledgeable to members while having fun with staff. They still have some of the nasty staff of the past but it's almost little to none I see. Mostly just the personal trainers left of that bad side. The rumors that aren't really rumors of them flirting with cute girls are true as far as the staff in the past and the ones of that past still around.I honestly don't care but I could see how it holds some members to better acknowledgment than others.I honestly expect ever time I go there for 1 or 2 machines to always be broken. But 9/10 they have another one working. This is only an issue during the busy days.In my experience they are as far as money and management very greedy and untrustworthy. You do need to stay on them to a promise to make sure they hold it. They will tell you sorry and discount their mistake to make some kind of money off you.I suggest if you do work out here keep things basic while educating yourself with studies on great form and exercises. It's not horrible here. But, it could be so much better. There's a lot of true to these angry comments the manager isn't responding to.

Read your membership carefully. I have had nothing but problems since joining in January. I thought I did my due diligence with verbally going over every part of my membership with my salesman and apparently I was lied to on multiple occasions. I was told my corporate membership price was $15/month less than what it ended up being. I was also told that I could bring a friend at any time I went and am now being stopped from entering because I am trying to do just that. I was blatantly lied to about my membership and what it entails and management has done nothing about it. I was told I would be called about the situation and I needed to call up there to get anyone to talk to me. All of the good employees are gone, don’t bother with golds in general.

I truly don’t understand the level of snark that reception gives at the Round Rock location. Sassily saying, “Oh do we do that?,” shouldn’t be the response to a member asking for a towel. Slamming the camera down and raising ones voice to say “have a great day” because a member doesn’t want a picture on file isn’t a reason to become aggressive. If it’s so necessary to verify my membership then ask me for my ID. However, when creating my “enhanced” membership a picture being needed for my profile was never a question and at that gym towels ARE provided. These are two very basic things that should be communicated to all employees. Now there’s either a very LARGE lack of communication between management and their staff and/or the staff needs more training on etiquette and the amenities available at different locations in central Texas.People often come to gyms to shed the stress life so often brings. Members should be able to expect the same level of customer service at each gym as well as the same basic amenities. One would think $50.00 a month could cover that... I was told that I need an average of 8 visits per month for three months and to express dissatisfaction for a full refund. Challenge accepted! I’m getting my money back.

This is a newer Gold's Gym. I like the fact that it's not too busy and unable to get on a machine. It's also clean and I like the convenience of being able to take my kid with me to the kids club so I can work out while he is in there.

Bad costumer service from staff.. rude employees on the from desk, had different people on the past months but same rude personality .. make me think they work for free.. that kind of bad. I'm not going anymore. My kid has a black aye never callme never get to me until I when to pick him up I noticed.. looking forward to cancel my membership

No ventilation in bathroom so it smells like protein farts in steam. Parking lot is always packed and get used to waiting for machines and weights. They also have a crossfit class.......keeping it real, golds.

The front desk staff is so friendly! The gym itself is one of better golds in the city. Only issue is the size of the lot and gym itself for the amount of people that go to it.

I think this is my favorite Gold's... Basketball court, swimming pool, cardio cinema, spacious dry sauna... It has it all. Plus it seems like they always fix the machines quickly and in general keep their equipment in better condition than some of the other gyms.

As far as the gym itself I cannot answer but as far as "kid care," it's a joke. The staff stay on their phones or on the computer. The kids do not get any attention. It is very unsanitary. after being in there for 10 minutes with my child, my throat got sore. I will never take my child there again!!
