24 Hour Fitness

*** It is Okay for a second rate discount Gym (talking about this location). They have 6 showers in the men's locker room 1 works properly 2 only scalding water, 1 rarely gets hot and 2 are shut down. Not to worry they plan a remodel in spring, well atleast no one has pooped in the showers in the last 2 months. When I started there were 3 clocks in the pool area, the one that is left stopped.The staff seem to do their best but I guess there aren't enough and upper management doesn't seem to care. I have friends who want to join, I tell them hold off. Sad they have the location that works for me. BUTT!

This gym is outdated and dirty. The locker rooms are always dirty, moldy and just old looking. The machines are old and they have replace “some” with new ones but they ended up being broken and still have not been fixed for months now. The gym is big and spacious but it seriously needs a renovation!

Club is dirty and equipment is not maintained well. Several pieces of equipment are broke and have not been repaired for months. There is always way to many people in the club making for long wait times for most equipment. 24 hour fitness needs to open a club in the south area to alleviate congestion and gridlock at this club. Be better 24 hour. P.S. how can they call themselves 24 hour when they close at 9 pm or 11 pm. This is false advertising and they should be held accountable for this.

They should either remove 24hrs name, or become 24, it's a big scam!To get in they making you wear face diaper, just to pas front desk!How st**id can you be!!!?Lost all my respect to this fitness, no customer satisfaction! Probably the dirtiest location in Sacramento. I recently got a skin rash from the whirlpool that my doctor said was a fungal infection. Nothing like some athlete's foot all over your body. It will go away but kind of nasty and anoying.Also, it's so busy most days they should consider expanding or another location in the area.

Poor experience. I went with a friend who purchased a monthly membership. He got me a 3-day guest pass which was fine by me. I went in and they took all my information to validate the pass or something like that. Not sure what they were doing, but it took about 10 minutes at the front desk. I go, enjoy my workout. I had a good time, but there's really nothing special about this place. pretty standard stuff. But then, for the next week, I get call after call after call, asking me if I want to sign up for a membership. I told the first guy no. The 2nd time they called I let it go to VM. I called them back later and told them I wasn’t interested. Called 3rd and 4th times over the weekend, I didn't answer those but the VMs Said the same thing. Finally on Monday when they call me for the 5th freaking time, I answer and tell them to can it, that I'm not interested. they finally claim to take me off the list. That was two days ago and I haven't gotten a call from them yet, so I hope they listened this time. The gym itself isn't half bad, but the spammy phone calls really turned me off. I get sales, I work in a Call Center, but that was ridiculous. You have to be super desperate for new members to call that many times. Makes you wonder why they are so desperate for a new member

Yes, I agree with with comments people made in regard this gym. It is very disorganized and dirty especially the lockers, shower rooms and toilets. The management needs to pay attention to this hygiene problem. We go to the gym to remain health not get sick. Please take care of this gym.

I love going to the gym and working out, but today was particularly annoying. I was working out on the fake grass area in the middle of the gym with my partner and this coach comes out and starts preping her equipment in the area we are working out in. I get there's classes ND private session, but would it kill you do just ask us to move instead of planting all your equipment in the area we are working out in? I found that very rude and unprofessional. I ended up just grabbing our equipment and moving over a bit and she still didn't say anything to us. It just got on my nerves and I wanted to say something to her, but I ignored it and just kept working out. I didn't like the way I felt today in the gym not cool.

I like the place, not too crowded. There's always a place to go to exercise. Almost all equipment is working. Very easy sign up. Had to pay $1 for the first month, and $20/month successively, with one time fee of $50(yearly) on top of your monthly.
