You need to change your name. You are not 24 hours and you close too early, especially on the weekends. You use covid as the reason to close early, there are no longer covid restrictions. 🤔 At least extend the weekend hours . And while you're at it change your name... …

They validate parking for 3 hours. You can parking lot is adjacent to the gym (north of front door on 7th street). Has sauna, jacuzzi, steam room, lap pool (2 lane). Has a basketball court and a multipurpose room for class exercise. When no class is going on, one could use that room (stretching, exercising, dancing, etc). The multipurpose room has the foam mats. Multi level gym. Upstairsnis where most things are (free weights, machines, etc). There are 3 bech press, 4 squat racks in the middle with the round weights (for squatting, deadlifting, etc). There are 2 other squat rack that has the polygonal weight near the basketball court. 2 squat rack on a rail/guided. There's a hack squat, multiple benches next to the dumbells. Your typical 24 hour fitness, except it aint open 24 hours anymore after the pandemic.

Gym is decent, has the equipment you need to do workouts. People rerack their weights. The reason for the low rating is the parking situation. They have a lot where your ticket is validated, so it is free. The issue is whenever there is an event at the Golden one center, you won't find a parking spot. People use the parking lot for arena parking. There is signage that prohibits arena parking, but it is not enforced at all. In the past week, Ive failed to find parking two times in the afternoon and ended up going home after looking for 20 minutes. Secondly, even when there is no events, the parking lot can get pretty full and I've had to wait 15 minutes just to leave as the gate is slow and a line of cars forms quickly. So if you sign up for the gym, be prepared to not go in the afternoons or walk/bike there.

A wonderful first rate experience on the inside and why the review is for 2 stars and not 1. I had given the gym a 5 star review many years ago as one of the best 24 Hour Fitness's I have worked out at. Unfortunately, the parking situation is unacceptable. It can take upwards of 20 minutes to park and 20 minutes to leave while the parking attendent sits in the booth. Yesterday, my validated ticket did not work, and I had to wait twice in the line of cars to leave the garage. The gym experience was much better before the new arena was built. The new arena does nothing to enhance your workout but clogs traffic in the area, making it more difficult to get in a workout.

Traffic and parking problem due to downtown evens, Poor membership quality control but Great and best fitness equipment, group workout classes, and other facilities1)Traffic and parking Problems: At nights when Golden 1 Center in Downtown Sacramento has some events, the 7th Street between J Street and L Street where Downtown 24 Hours Fitness and its parking entrance are located would be blocked by law enforcement due to too many people and cars going to Golden 1 Center. These chaotic situations make no way to park anywhere in downtown to 24 Hours Fitness.2) Poor membership quality control: Any one who pays the membership fee would be able to enter 24 Hours Fitness and use its equipment. People in Downtown 24 Hours Fitness gym are extremely various and from numerous diversity backgrounds. This Downtown 24 Hours Fitness has a range of people with homeless shelters, disabilities, no limbs, mostly from middle ages to elders, gangers, jerks, dipsticks, over-talkative to unfriendly…etc that impact normal members who goes to gym for regular physical activities. Hope you know what I mean.3) All in allGreat gym: Downtown 24 Hours Fitness gym is huge and spacious. It has two floors with lot of various new and best fitness equipment. Many different group classes for workout, and with swimming pool, Jacuzzi, steam room and sauna.

Should be called "NOT 24 Hour Fitness" or "We Have no problem breaching contracts with customers gym". Not only do they not stay open 24 hours but they lock the front doors 20 minutes before they close. I've been a member for 30 years and I'm disgusted by what this gym has become.

Just wasted half an hour of my life visiting this gym after getting a three day pass. I just moved to the area. The person at the front desk stated that “corporate says” I need to have a local ID that I present with the pass. There is no mention of anything like this in the terms and conditions of their offer for the three day pass. I can’t imagine a better way to alienate all new business they could possibly get. My next course of action is to find a local gym where I get better service.

Worst place to ever get a gym membership at. Please don’t ever go here! Worst customer service the staff never answer their phone when you need them. I’ve been trying to cancel my gym membership for the past 5 months and they told me they had cancelled it and was going to refund all the fee that was charged on my account but I haven’t got any of my money back and they are still taking money out of my account. I’m going to sue this place in very frustrated

Signed up for a 3 day pass to try out the gym. Directions said I just had to show up with my ID and I could get started. I arrived at 5:30 am and they said they wouldn’t be able to allow me in until 8:00 am. No where did it say that I had to show up at certain times to workout. If I was informed it wouldn’t have been a big deal. Won’t be coming back.
