You basically have to bring your own weights. Im not kidding when i say 90% of the weights are missing, taken to other parts of the gym by insecure people who build what i like to call “nests”. Its horrible, unless you lift <30 lb dumbells, youre not finding the weights you need. Its not reorganized at the end of the day at all. They need to crack down on people taking 3 pairs of weight to look cool. Highly recommend going somewhere other than the natomas gym. Anyone who has seen the dumbbell racks can tell you.

Good Equipment, staff, kids club, however looking down at their equipment while working out, it looks like it hasn’t been cleaned in a long time… hopefully they can get around to cleaning the sweat/dust stains off the equipment.

First off all they are scammers!Horrible horrible don’t go their very expensive they never told u about 1 year contract before when u want too close urs membership u have to pay 200 dollars ,, cheap Coustumer service I will never go back their ,, people don’t wear mask at the jym disgusting An ok gym but there is no way to cancel your membership. They make it impossible to get ahold of them and you can't cancel online. I highly suggest finding another gym unless you want to pay $150 for the rest of your life. So disappointed

Gym is typically in good order and clean enough for the volume of foot traffic that comes through. Staff is always friendly, and there is a decent amount of equipment between upstairs and downstairs.

They open at 4:30am and it is the perfect amount of people. Not crowded and I don't have to wait for machines!! I just wished they open at 4:30am on the weekends too!! The treadmills in the back ate my fav because I can walk/run for miles while watching Netflix ,news or YouTube. The perks system is cool too! When I loose my weight I will do another review..lol

Yoooo why is the person at the front not even wearing a mask??? I walk in and ask them for a kids mask for my daughter and they turn around and the mask is hanging under their chin. Seriously though? They really just had a full-on conversation with me standing less than six feet away ABOUT FACE MASKS while it’s hanging off their face. The gym itself is fine! Kind of old machines but there’s a lot to do.

This gym is okay. It gets the job done. Major issue is that they allow homeless to sleep and loiter in the parking lot. As a result, the trash cans are always ransacked and trash blows everywhere. There are also numerous car break-ins and signs everywhere warning you. Also, the homeless have a high rate of TB. This is why all shelters require a TB test. In any event, the homeless stay right by the doors so you are potentially exposed. They’re a bad neighborhood to the community by not keeping their property clean and sanitary.

Staff at Cal Fit is are extremely friendly. Always willing to help me and which I am visually disabled. The black equipment on the black flooring is the hardest thing for anyone with low-level Vision to be able to see. But when I ask for help they are there to help. The patrons for the most part are really there to work out. Women really go into Cal Fit and Lyft and speak to each other and share stories ideas and information on bettering ourselves and our physiques. Very friendly atmosphere for the most part

Only leaving bad review because of rude member manager Bryan (tall blond guy) , 2 of my friends and Signed for 7 day free trial. We came to check family fitness for a new experience, Bryan started showing off what are you guys trying to do "I don't want to waste my time " this is a Cadillac type of the gym $79.99 per person. Well Bryan your gym maximum is CIVIC type of the gym. We won't go there only because of member manager Bryan, gym needs an professional maintenance guy who will take care of the stuff around.$79.99 for what?????

My 8 year old son loves basketball and with the Sacramento heat we need somewhere to play indoors. I brought him to Cal Fit in Natomas to see about getting a membership for my family as we live very close. I was greeted by an extremely smug man at the front desk who informed me that my son couldn't use the basketball court. I told him I am his parent and I would be with him 100% of the time, he responded with a shrug and "cant play here." Isn't this place called California "FAMILY" Fitness? So much for being a family gym if I can't even play basketball with my son.
