Former member pre-Covid, this location suffered from a wait times for their cardio section. Frequently I’d spend up to 20 minutes waiting for equipment. You would have to walk around and hope you catch someone at the tail end of their workout, or be skipped by someone else who just arrived. It was a decent place during off hours, but the popular hours were really annoying. They also charge annual fees in addition to the monthly cost, and make it a slight pain to cancel. I ended up starting to buy my own equipment since 2x annual memberships made a fairly substantial down payment on a home gym. Also— they were frequently out of sanitizer wipes and people would leave equipment pretty dirty after a workout. I had a couple experiences where other runners were sweating all over the place and dripping all over the people next to them, it would have been nice if calfit had staff walking around checking for this, OR handing out towels like other calfit locations.

The biggest gym I’ve been too. There’s something for everyone. I took my brother to swim, but I was completely lost, the employee Joseph, showed me what each pool was for and helped me out. The staff are super chill.

Major complaint, been coming here for the last 7 years, why is the Natomas California fitness turning off their lights at 9:05pm on a weekday, gym hours are till 10pm. There were plenty of members still inside the facility working out. No announcement overhead was given, all of a sudden sections of the gym were turned off and we were left in the dark in the middle of a set!! Hope this doesn't become the normal practice!!

California Family Fitness has great staff, always courteous and helpful. The indoor heated therapy pool is awesome, large hot tub. So many classes even some for seniors. It’s a pleasure to go work out.

Workout floors, shower stalls, and indoor pool area in general appear to never be thoroughly cleaned and have lots of mold overgrowth. It's disgusting. I wonder how the manager thinks this is okay for customers who pay good $$ to workout here. Put your employees to work and start cleaning!!! Also nobody re-wracks their weights.

Clean, equipment is well maintained. Most times, someone greets me on the way into the gym. Childcare is top-notch. My son loves going here. Only thing that could be improved is the customer service folks. Most times, a CFF Staff Member sees me about to exit and looks the other way. Overall, I'm happy with this gym.

Usually new members get a rundown and a tour when they join a fitness club…. For such a big place this would be ideal, I didn’t receive this type of welcome.I moved out of state and this scam of a company kept charging me, even after i spoke to a sales rep who said i was fine to cancel my membership and someone would contact me.If you have to move this place has the least customer friendly policy out of every gym i have ever seen.... I would avoid this place and go to a place that has customer friendly policies.

I feel SO bad for the staff here. 5/5 for their patience, but the atmosphere (out of their control) is absolute trash. No one cleans up after themselves or moves their weights back. It sounds like I'm nit picking, but honestly, you can't move through the free weight room without tripping over countless dumbbells. They should institute a better policy to address this.

Had some bummed out kids when we tried to go here…slides have been closed since 2020. We are long time Calfit members and wanted to try this location since it has a kids area…or at least used to. Thanks to the super nice employees who told me about a cool aquatic center down the street.

I just signed up yesterday without touring the place. It is all messed up walls are filthy, workout sets are filthy. Rust in the showers, stalls are filthy with no toilet paper. I know they have the money to spruce up the place. Now I'm on contract for a year.. Grrr! Do not sign unless you like to workout in filthy!
