Best place for kids to learn how to swim. My son stayed here for past 3 years, learned all strokes. The staff are the best coaches you can wish for, so good with kids. The environment is great, highly recommend!

Lessons are fine, but we have had too many lessons cancelled and rescheduling is incredibly difficult. Wish there were more options around us so that we could move on and find a place that didn’t cancel 2 out of every 3 lessons.

I was interested in lap swim. I called to inquire about the facility and if it has a locker/changing room. I spoke with a man who told me no. I was a little confused and learned he is not on site, but at a central call center. Although he was not rude, he was condescending towards me because I wanted to know more about the facility, he kept circling back about registering and booking online. I wish I stayed on the line to leave feedback on him.I called back a few minutes later. Spoke with a lady, Jess, that informed me that the San Jose/bascom location does have a locker room. She was more polite.I don’t even know who to believe at this point. I’m hesitant to book after that first interaction with water aquatics.

Great facilities and staff at Waterworks Aquatics. My two daughters have been going here for quite a while now and they seem to love their lessons, even with covid. The staff is great at ensuring we feel safe in their facility at all times.

My daughter has been with waterworks since she was 6 years old when she started newly . She is currently in her Advanced stroke clinic lesson since swim teams has not re-opened due to covid . The experience is incredible as the staffs are friendly and the swim instructors are very good with kids . Initially my daughter had water fear as she started her lessons elsewhere but after coming here she started enjoying the time in the water . I would highly recommend anyone who is planning to start the swim lessons for their kids. I am planning to register my little one too who will be 3 this August .Love waterworks Aquatics

We have been coming here for almost two years now. The instructors are great- from Parent and Me to private/adult lessons, they all know what they are doing. Everyone is professional and it is almost like a factory (not in bad way) when they were at full capacity. Everyone gets in and out of pool every 20 min and instructor moves to next student. The facilities are large enough and clean, especially with COVID. I do enjoy doing lessons for my son (3.5 year old) at less busy times because it is a bit less noisy and helps him concentrate, especially with the instructors masked (which is required of course). The only complaint I have is when schedule changes happen (which is A LOT with CoVID), the text message communication and voice recordings are not the most consistent and can be confusing.

It’s a nice place in general I love the facility.A bit disappointed from instructors demonstrating and guiding other instructors during her private classes. Requested a few times and to add a note that our private classes should focus on the child only. It didn’t really help much, even when we requested the instructor face-to-face. We have put our self on the waitlist for other instructors. Unfortunately after receiving an email letting us know that we have 30 minutes to book our child to other instructor, the portal didn’t have any information of where to reassign our child. We called in and the customer service didn’t have this availability on their side. They did not even know how to guide the parent throughout the portal. Seems like they don’t have any knowledge about it. The three stars is because there are many good instructors there. I believe that like others we prefer to have balance and one instructor.

We have been coming to Waterworks for over 2 years now, and my daughter has enjoyed her every class thoroughly. While we have had a couple of different teachers, my daughter is a big fan of Maya, who has done a terrific job helping her really grow as a swimmer and complete all her levels! My daughter is now joining a competitive team and the feeling is bitter sweet, as we leave waterworks. This is a good place to establish your fundamentals!

Great customer service experience. I came for lap swim at 6:30, and the front sales clerk was very courteous and told me everything I needed for lap swim and then showed me around.Docking 1 star for how humid this place is! I'm honestly very surprised that not many people have commented, but at 630am, it feels like a sauna. There is water dripping from the ceilings. At first, this is pleasant, but when you get out of the water hot, you shower, and then you start to sweat, it's very unpleasant.Docking another star for their (in consequence to how humid it is) rampant infestation of moth flies, or small, pesky flies that tend to land on your arms or legs. They're everywhere! On the walls, in the shower, on the edges of the pool... Especially in the deep lines in the cement around the pool, where they clearly breed and hide.Unfortunately, it seems that Waterworks hasn't deep-cleaned their facilities in a while (also noted by the spiderwebs around the shower rooms). I enjoyed my time here until I noticed those things, and they were big enough to dock 2 stars, sadly.

Modest facilities, but the place is awesome for kids learning to swim. Instructors are great, we haven't had a single bad experience with them. Booking system is somewhat inconvenient, but it is more friendly about makeups than most other swim schools. Ample parking. Oh, and kids love the prizes they get when they level up.
