This crunch location makes it nearly impossible to cancel your membership... I went into this location to cancel my membership where they convinced me to pause my membership. Now that I have moved out of Tallahassee they are telling me I need to come into the store to cancel or write a handwritten letter explaining why I am cancelling. The employees are rude over the phone and give 0 help whatsoever. Never sign up for this gym unless you intend on going until the day you die.

Possibly the worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life. The location would not allow me to cancel my membership online or over the phone and I was told that I would have to either come in person or write a letter and mail it in to request a cancellation. Tried calling several Crunch customer service representatives who were unable to help me because the location is owned as a Franchise and they told me they can't do anything about the membership. After calling multiple times and finally being able to speak to a manager, I was told my membership would be cancelled over the phone but not before being rudely scolded like a child and told "maybe next time you should think about going into your gym in person to cancel your membership before you decide to leave town". Maybe it's time crunch updated it's ridiculous predatory business practices and allow people to manage their memberships in a more streamlined fashion. Just a thought.

I have been paying for a peak results membership as a founding member. I also pay for personal Master Training. I enjoy the Spin and HITT classes. The leaky roof is an issue. However the staff do the best to make up for owners who have no respect for the safety of the members and refuse to correct the issue.

The gym isn't bad, but I canceled my membership more than two months ago and I'm still getting charged even though I got a confirmation email from Crunch about my cancellation. They ignore emails and messages on social media, and no one on the phone knows what they're doing. So if you plan to never cancel your membership, it's not bad. Otherwise, pretty bad!

1/3 of the cable machines like to stick or are missing handles. It's usually so busy that you have to stand around waiting on benches and machines. Alot of the treadmills are out of service. The mens room is NOT clean. The toilet paper holders are falling off the stalls and there's usually only 2 stalls with paper. The floors stay dirty. The showers have cheap heads, low pressure and the water does not get cold enough for an ice bath. Ive been going over a month and never see the equipment being cleaned. Theres only a couple paper towel holders around the gym that are often empty and the spray bottles are usually empty. The ceiling is constantly dripping water all over the gym. A very low quality gym compared to planet fitness and the employees don't seem to care.

Gym itself is fine. Charged me $53.74 with no explanation (I actually read the contract before signing up as i wanted to see the cancelation policy, and nowhere was any charge like this mentioned). Monthly charges have also been about $13 instead of the $10 which I don't really care about but worth noting here. Will update review if money is either returned or if false excuses are given (not interested in hearing them as it wasn't mentioned in the contract and no notice was ever given)

Staff needs to be more professional and actually care about working and not running their mouth with their friends all day. Bathrooms are disgusting, you can barely find any paper towels and sanitizer to wipe down machines (for the very few ppl who actually have gym etiquette and do this). Another huge issue is people being extremely inconsiderate during the HIIT classes and choosing to work out in the area when it's clearly marked off and its very clear to see a class being conducted. Staff need to be walking the gym on a regular basis and correcting people of any wrongdoing. People are also always taking gym mats from the group training room and never returning them. When its time to check in for a class and get your ticket to give to the instructor, the machine is rarely ever stocked with paper to do so. The air circulation in this place is horrid for ppl in group fitness and the ride classes. One day it works, then its hot as hell the next 2 weeks. Don't even bother coming in the afternoon if you plan to use a machine, they are being hogged by college students creating tik toks and instagram stories, and many don't care that other ppl may be waiting on the machine. It's a good gym with a variety of options, filled with young staff that don't take their job seriously and young, entitled members. Hopefully a 2nd location away from the college side of town opens in the future.

HORRIBLE MANAGEMENT DO NOT COME HERE. They will STEAL your money!2 months ago, I noticed that I had been being charged for another person’s membership/annual fee on top of my own.It took me coming in during my working hours to speak to the assistant manager, Jose (who by the way does not read his emails). Although Jose assured me that I would receive a refund in 2 weeks, it has now been OVER 2 MONTHS and I have received 0 DOLLARS.It took me hours to reach their billing agency today, who informed me that not ONE of the 5+ people that I have spoken to about this has made a note about the refund that I need on my account.If you want your money stolen, a gym that always has broken machines and a roof that rains every day, Crunch Tallahassee is the spot for you.
