I started going to FitLab Oct 2021. All the trainers are wonderful, knowledgeable guys. The classes/group training sessions have 4 people max and are fun!What really impresses me is the commitment each trainer has to tailoring activities to each individual member's abilities and progress, and to making sure you are doing exercises properly.I personally have some injuries and inflammation, and they have been giving me exercises that avoid flare-up and help strengthen other muscles to help alleviate pain.If you're a strength-training newbie (like myself), I'm happy to say they do a great job of easing you into everything.

I've worked out at many different gyms and facilities over the years - with varying results and satisfaction. Most commonly because the places I was exercising had large class sizes and had to use a "one size fits all" approach.In contrast, at the FIT Lab they work with me to find the best exercises for each target muscle group while also recognizing my personal physical limitations and biases. I've been able to work harder without any risk of injury - which frankly is a wonderful feeling.All of the instructors have been professional, personable, approachable and deeply engaged in helping me succeed.I highly recommend trying their approach to fitness!

I've been going to the FIT Lab along with my partner now for almost 9 months. It's been a totally different and refreshing experience in comparison to some of the other gyms and trainers I've worked with in the past. The team at FIT Lab are professionals who aren't dabbling in health and fitness, there's a consistent thoughtfulness applied to my program that makes me (and will make you) feel like you're not just another number like some of those 'other' gym chains.The trainers I've worked with (mostly Jason) have all been focused on helping me navigate some ongoing nerve issues I've had in my arms, and we've found new ways of targeting the same muscles that have made working out more enjoyable and effective. All of the trainers are regularly in sync with my previous routines and circumstances, so no matter who I train with, my workouts are up to date and tailored to my specific needs.What can I say? The gym is impeccably clean, the trainers know their stuff, and we even manage to have a few laughs between sets. I highly recommend you check these guys out if you're looking for a great small group or personal training experience.

I have been going to FitLab for the past 8 months and I couldn’t be more satisfied. The trainers are all extremely knowledgeable and enjoyable to work with. The classes and personal trainings are flexible and well worth their price.I have personally been working through some issues with my knee and all of the trainers have been so accommodating to adjust exercises and weight to help me reach my goals.Thank you to Greg, Jason, Pat, Ron, and Stephen for all of your hard work!

The FIT Lab is a hidden gem with an impressive team of trainers focused on your individually tailored progress. Superb value for money and COMPLETELY on top of their preventative COVID-19 measures (disinfecting between client sessions, proper mask and hygiene protocols etc..... ).I wish all fitness facilities were this good! Truly can't recommend the FIT Lab enough!

Love FitLab Hoboken! Scheduling is great! Trainers are all fantastic and know what they are talking about. They really focus on building strength to help you get to the next step vs the work out that makes you sore for weeks. I would recommend PT for the first few sessions then joining the group sessions!

I've been going to the Fit Lab for about 5 months now in preparation for my upcoming wedding and it's been an awesome experience. I've had sessions with all of the trainers so far and each is knowledgable, friendly, and patient. They all want to see you succeed and do whatever they can to help you achieve your goals. Definitely recommend!

I have been going to the Fit Lab for about a year and a half and I can't say enough good things about this place. Ever since COVID, I have been training virtually with Ian and he is seriously the best. He made the transition from in person to virtual so easy for me, it's like I'm at the gym with him! Everything is so personal, he makes it seem like I'm his only client in the world! I absolutely love this place and I don't think I'll ever go back to a different gym. Love these guys!

Before joining The Fit Lab I had always been intimidated by gyms and working out in general, but I have never felt that way at TFL. I have primarily worked with Steve and he is always positive and makes sure you understand how to approach each exercise to get the most impact & value from the sessions.As COVID restrictions were put in place, Greg and the team quickly pivoted to virtual 1:1 training, virtual group classes and setup Slack channels to keep everyone connected and on track. Ian even started a run club, which got me back to running for the first time in a few years.While a lot had happened over the last 9-10 months TFL has always remained positive and supportive. Even after I moved out of Hoboken, Steve set me up with virtual training so I haven’t missed a beat.If you are looking to improve your health and/or have specific goals in mind, and feel intimidated by some of the more ‘intense’ gyms out there, The Fit Lab of the place for you!
