I've been going to the FIT lab for a few months and really enjoy the sessions (they are fun, different each time and engaging). I am getting better results from 2 hours/ week compared to the 4 x 2 hr sessions/ week that I was doing before, having fun and not hurting myself. It's a challenging workout in a supportive environment. I trained with 3 different trainers and all are very professional and know their stuff. Also, something that was very important to me, they adapt the exercise for any individual injuries. Highly recommended.

I highly recommend The Fit Lab Inc. for customized personal training. The studio is sparkling clean, they wipe down all equipment between each training session, have temperature checks at the front door (due to COVID), and require everyone to wash hands before starting each session.I trained with Ian and he has been amazing!! He does a great job correcting my form (very important when strength training), creating a tailored program to fit my fitness goals, pays attention as I go through each circuit and adjusting the weight/exercise as needed, and motivating me each session to do better than the last.Greg has also been great - checking in and seeing if he could help in any way, provided nutritional feedback and more.

I am beyond impressed with The FIT Lab in Hoboken. The place itself is super clean and the equipment is really nice and up to date. The trainers and their overall mission are even more impressive. They are extremely professional, knowledgeable, and passionate about their work. Before starting at the FIT Lab, Greg called me to discuss what my background and goals were. I have always been active, played sports in high school and college, and have continued to run and attend occasional workout classes. I was looking to get stronger and better conditioned, but I wanted to do it the right way with individualized, smart training. This is exactly what the FIT Lab aims to do- work with each client to achieve their goals, while keeping them safe and using the correct body mechanics.I train with Jason and Ian who are fantastic. Upon my initial eval with Jason, he immediately recognized that I had decreased range of motion in my left ankle. I had ankle surgery >10 years ago, and have had issues over the years that I kind of forgot about and adapted to/ignored. Jason, however, did not want to pass this off and had me evaluated by a foot and ankle specialist who confirmed that I need PT and certain modifications for training. If Jason had not pointed this out and felt strongly that I get further evaluated, I would not have gotten the continued help that I need. I have never worked out somewhere where a trainer recognizes a problem before you tell them about it, and then has a solution and referral on hand.As Jason and Ian know I enjoy running, they tailor my workouts to use movements and exercises to become a better runner. Jason, Ian, and Greg are also readily available for workout and nutrition questions and/or concerns throughout the week.I can’t speak highly enough about the FIT Lab, Jason, Ian, and Greg. I look forward to each training session and have (challenging) fun each day that I am there. I highly recommend looking into the FIT Lab if you are looking to work out the right way with the best trainers.

I joined Fit Lab about six months ago after multiple unsuccessful attempts at working out without the help of a trainer. At Fit Lab the trainers have the expertise to help you accomplish all of your goals guiding you both inside and outside of the gym. They help you use proper form which prevents injuries that would keep you from working out while also pushing to meet you goals as quickly as possible. The environment is super friendly and inclusive. It is clear from my time working out here that the trainers have your best interest at heart and care deeply about your success.Anyone who wants to get serious about getting in shape should look to join.

I started at the Fit Lab ~2 1/2 months ago, right around the time of the COVID 19 shutdown. Although the gym had too close for the time being due to quarantine, Greg, the owner, and all the trainers did not let that stop them from continuing to assist the progress of their members. They worked hard to figure out a great solution for this time with the use of virtual classes held twice a day three times a week, virtual one on one personal training calls, and personalized weekly workouts which contain demo videos to ensure you are conducting the exercise correctly on your own.Jason has personally helped me in every aspect. He tailored all of my workouts perfectly for me given I am new to this. I feel like even though the personal training has not been in person, that true progress has been made for myself with the detailed help and guidance from Jason. I continue to get stronger and learn more each day.The Fit Lab overall is a very welcoming and caring place to be. Whether it be in person or virtual training, you will definitely see progress you want.

I've been working out with Ian at The FIT Lab for about 3 weeks now and I'm blown away by how much I enjoy it. My initial conversation with Greg got me very excited becaus it was clear the ethos is to focus on foundation, form, progress, and health outside the gym as well.I am just getting back into physical fitness after a long break and the pace Ian keeps with me is the perfect balance of foundational and challenging. He helps me so much with form and explains the benefits of every activity we do. Ian has even helped me with some circuits to do while traveling. I can already safely say I'll be investing in another personal training package when this one is depleted.This is an amazing gym if you're looking for expert personal attention, getting your form right, progressing with different skills and weights at a manageable pace, and trainers who are genuinely passionate about helping you be in the best shape you can be.

In my opinion, the Fit Lab is a comm(unity) where the trainers and clients consistently work together to develop keystone habits and share a lifestyle. The trainers are subject matter experts in Strength Training, Aerobic Exercises, Stretching, Breathing, Meditation, Nutrition and the development of strong intrinsic muscles.Whether you are an avid gym goer, athlete, or novice, there is always room for improvement in your fitness and health goals. I joined the Fit Lab after facing several injuries related to a motor vehicle accident and never expected to make the progress I’ve made in these past 4 months. I was taught, “Pain is a request for change” - the Fit Lab is the best place to change the way your body moves, breathes and reacts to adversity.The Fit Lab trainers have a deep knowledge of the human anatomy and are extremely resourceful, articulate and accessible day in and day out. Their ability to measure and assess client needs is exceptional - the workouts are designed specifically for the clients in the small group and one-on-one training, suggesting variations when appropriate.The Fit Lab gym itself is maintained and cleaned on a regular basis with top notch, meticulously thought out equipment. Everything has a purpose. I repeat. Everything has a purpose.The Fit Lab community exemplifies a great camaraderie filled with trust, respect, compassion and a positive attitude. The trainers embody professionalism in their mentorship and are both attentive and patient. Individually and as a whole, there is a great dynamic amongst the trainers and clients where you leave feeling less intimated but more motivated after each session.What I value the most is their passion for continuous learning, embracing efficiency and maximizing their resources. As a client, you have access to their Community Slack App where the trainers provide resources such as videos, pictures, articles and other recommendations that supplement the conversations and workouts that take place at the gym.At the end of the day, the Fit Lab trainers are kind, genuine and relatable – life is complicated and they get it. If you want to see real changes in your body in a relatively short period of time, go to FitLab. I am finally reaching my fitness and weight goals and wish I had started here earlier. Ian Anderson is my main trainer and he is exceptional. Highly recommend him for all levels of experience. I have been lucky enough to work out with the other trainers at FitLab as well and they are all amazing. The facility has everything you need and is clean and comfortable. I have tried other personal trainers in the area and have learned that all trainers are not created equal and who you work out with (and the facility) matters.

The team at The FIT Lab is great. I've been working out with Ian and Steven for the last few months and can't say enough about their approach to creating fun and challenging workouts. The gym is the perfect size for personal training, always clean and a top notch operation.
