We've had a terrific experience working with our trainer over the last few months. He has crafted personalized and challenging routines for both me and my wife.Fit Lab uses a variety of equipment you don't find in most gyms but the true value is in the personnele. Ian is motivating, knowledgeable and ensures we use proper form to maximize our hour. Greg has smartly set up the gym and training package to work for Covid times.

After training 25+ years in various martial arts I stopped due to injuries and mental fatigue. I was looking for something different, something that would keep me motivated and challenged as I looked to get back into shape. Fit Lab was perfect for me. It is a great (& clean) facility with knowledgeable trainers. It offers a variety of options when training that focus on mechanics and building out from the core that has kept me motivated and challenged. Personally a mix of 1:1 and small group training is perfect. Highly recommended.

My husband and I joined Fit Lab and agree it is the best money we have ever spent. Jason is incredibly knowledgeable and detail oriented--he notices things I think most trainers would overlook--which makes each workout feel more effective than hours working out on our own. We cannot recommend this gym enough!

I’ve been going to The FIT Lab for about a month now. I started with getting a personal training package. Everything from the initial consultation with Greg, to my first assessment with Jason, to every session with each of the trainers has been awesome. It FEELS personal, because every session is tailored to what my specific needs are. I feel like by the end of this journey, I’m going to feel and look amazing. For the first time in my adult life I look forward to working out. I tried a number of other options, CF, group classes, expensive gym memberships. I needed that extra guidance though, and if you’re anything like me, do yourself a favor - set aside the money, and invest in yourself with these guys! You won’t regret it!

I started at The Fit Lab over two years ago in order to get in shape for my wedding. Thanks to the effort and commitment from Greg and their entire staff of amazing trainers, I've been able to lose over 25 lbs and decrease my body fat percentage. When COVID-19 hit, I was afraid that my positive results would disappear, but the team at The Fit Lab was able to adapt with outdoor classes and virtual training options. I have been personally working with Jason over the last few months and it has been an incredible experience. He personalizes workout routines for me to do at home and checks in on a weekly basis to answer any questions I have about the workout plan, my nutrition, and self-care. Jason even shares videos on how to properly perform certain exercises to make sure my form is safe. I cannot recommend The Fit Lab more and I am so thankful that I found the team when I moved to Hoboken!

I started going to the FIT Lab in February 2021, I chose the personal training package as I felt I needed to work out on my own pace and with my own customized routine that I get during every session there which fits exactly my needs. I enjoy exercising there as it really feels focused and personal as you'd expect. I have a really busy work schedule but so far Greg and Jwara have been very accommodating. If you are looking for great personalized, tailored training, The FIT Lab is your gym!

I've been a member of Fit Lab for over 2 years. I started off with personal training, mainly with Jason and transitioned to small groups, usually with Ian or Steve. The trainers are all great, they are focused on your development and progress and they're always tuned into proper form. Greg is extremely accommodating, provides constant encouragement and resources on the slack channel and the gym is immaculately clean. Fit Lab has a community feel to it. It's small enough to be personalized but just big enough to offer a consistent class schedule and provide all the tools you need to meet your fitness goals.

I’ve worked with several personal trainers over the years and FIT Lab is by far the best experience I’ve had. These guys have a method and every workout is tailored to perfection, with slow and steady progressive overload and increase in range of mobility session to session. I’ve had lower back and knee issues since high school that have made it difficult for me to stay consistent with my fitness routine. From day 1 at FIT Lab, the team here has been intentional on building a program that works for me and my body. I have never looked forward to my workouts as much as I do now. In the 3 months I’ve been training with these guys, I can see massive improvement in my back and core strength, posture, and overall body composition. I’m acquiring good form and am finally able to set realistic fitness goals. Finally - about these awesome trainers! I’ve worked with Greg, Jason, and Steve and all three are great coaches and impressively knowledgeable. Most of my sessions have been with Jason and I’ve really appreciated his attention to detail and his willingness to explain the thought process behind certain movements and how the moves in a workout all link together. Overall, I could not give a higher recommendation for this place. Stop your research and sign up immediately - it’ll be worth it.

I’ve been going to Fit Lab for about 8 weeks now, and I will probably never stop as long as I live here. They have been great with keeping all the right muscles engaged, Greg, Jason and Steve are absolute encyclopedias of knowledge, and they are funny and fun to talk to. I couldn’t be happier that I’ve chosen this as my place to work out. If you’re considering it, I know you will love it too!

I came to the Fit Lab at ~2.5 months postpartum after sustaining a back injury during pregnancy (in addition to the usual postnatal pelvic floor issues). Things were so bad that I was having a hard time walking, much less lifting and bouncing my infant son a million times a day. I had initially tried two different pelvic floor specialist physical therapists, but their exercises kept causing more pain in my back. In the first week of working with him, Jason managed to isolate which movements and muscle groups were causing my issues. He is amazing at tailoring each exercise to your individual skill level, whether that means increasing or decreasing difficulty.It’s now been about six weeks, and the pain in my back is nearly gone. I’m finally able to utilize my core to go through various exercises in a safe and effective way. I have also met a few other people who work out there and I am always struck by how friendly and excited everyone is to be there. Definitely the mark of a great place. Lastly, the place is impeccably clean! I honestly can not recommend Jason and the Fit Lab enough.
