Planet Fitness

I like planet fitness, but they keep reducing hours. Go back to 24/7 as it has been for years instead of cutting hours again. The only convenient time for me to workout is 3rd shift and my workouts are continually affected by not being opened when I need it to be. I'm not happy that we keep paying the same price when it was 24/7 and not having 24/7 access.

This gym is spacious, very affordable, has a wide variety of equipment, is clean and has a friendly staff.On the down side, the 27th street gym has a high theft rate. The staff will not tell you this, just that PF is not responsible for lost or stolen items, and that you should use a lock on your locker. They don't tell you that the thieves bring in bolt cutters and remove the locks, taking money and credit cards, even car FOBS and stealing patrons cars. I canceled my membership after having money and card stolen and being filled in by the Franklin Police. Go somewhere else.

Yeah, I’m digging the great atmosphere starting with the reception counter to the clean equipment. All of us members are friendly and kind. I think it’s a great group of people. Most appreciated is lack of mask Police. I’ve never worn a mask and everyone is so respectful of my educated choices.

Someone just broke in my locker today and a few other guys had their lockers broken in to as well. This is the second planet fitness this happened at. An employee was cleaning the lockers when I discovered my bag rummaged through. He said "he didn't see anything or hear anything." Just keep your valuables on you or at home.

They dont judge you and threaten you like other planet fitnesses for exercising your 1st ammendment rights to not have to wear a mask... remember people we pay them they don't pay us to workout there.. and we signed a paper taking our safety into our own hands when we joined..so if any planet fitness judges you for no mask just remember we pay them..

Used my black card privileges while out of town. The gym is packed with lots of cardio equipment and a large assortment of weight resistance machines. Staff was friendly and helpful.

I went to planet fitness last year, however cancelled in June 2020. I provided a letter via email and then was told I needed to provide the letter in person. I had moved, but still drove 45 minutes to the Franklin location to provide the letter. I was told over the phone the membership would be cancelled and not charged. However, they just froze my account and started charging January 2021. I noticed this on my bank account and called planet fitness immediately, they ensured me the amount would be refunded, but it wasn't. Not only did they charge me for feb, march, they also charged me the $40 annual fee. Within the time I called multiple times to cancel the membership and refund as i have not gone since last June, and they were very rude and short with me each time. I did everything i needed to any they wont stop charging me! I had to go to my bank and block them!

This was my favorite place to go go until today. Two girls that were in there were recording my sister as she was working out along with laughing and saying bad things about her. When I called up there I notified the person that answered the phone about the situation but the response I got was that there was “no manager” there at the time because they ran to the bank according to the person I spoke with. The manager was suppose to return my call but I never got one and my mother also called but never got a call back like this is embarrassing and unacceptable. My sister shouldn’t have to cry and feel ashamed of herself after leaving this gym because of what someone said. This made me mad. I thought it was a judgement free zone.? Other than this particular situation this is my favorite gym. It’s very clean and usually the staff is great.

I enjoy going there, the staff is always respectful, friendly, and willing to assist you with anything you might need. The place is always impeccable, the staff is constantly cleaning around, changing cleaning supplies ( paper towels, any spray products). The space in this facility makes it easier to wall around without having to worry about other people working out. It’s family-friendly, nobody bothers you while you are using any equipment. This is my personal experience as I have been going there for a few years now. There’s plenty of parking to choose from. I highly recommend this location.

The facilities have always been remarkably clean (even before Covid), the staff is helpful and responsive, the music is muted and never offensive, and machines are kept in good working order. It is an oasis in my day.
